She scooped up Little Tiger, and with Rollo in tow, her eyes sparkled. "We have to try it too and see if we can get bigger!"

In her past life, Southern Base also had a few High-level Superpower Users with their own pets. Some were gigantic, while others were no different from before the apocalypse.

She watched the animals on the surveillance monitor grow larger after this heavy snow...

She had always thought it was the meteorite virus that caused the animals to mutate and grow, but it turned out this snow was the key.

’Then in this life, I can’t miss this opportunity!’

’In my last life, the two little ones and I hid away too well at home. That’s why on the way to the base, poor Rollo met such a terrible end...’

At this thought, Luna Dawson felt a sting in her nose, and her gaze toward the two little ones grew even more affectionate.

"This snow really is strange. Maybe I should go get ’watered’ by it too, see if I can grow a bit?"

Kevin Keane said casually, eager to join the fun.

Luna Dawson was speechless. "You’re already so huge. There’s really no need..."

"I want to go! Even one more centimeter would be great!"

Miles Dawson was very determined, possessing a baffling obsession with growing taller.

Luna Dawson tried to scare him. "Aren’t you afraid the snow is poisonous!?"

The usually calm Lynn Shelby was no longer calm. "If Little Tiger is going, then I’m going too."

Luna Dawson was exasperated. ’Why is everyone so weirdly obsessed with getting taller?’

Blake Blue calmly drank his milk. "I’m fine. Not interested."

Everyone: "..."

Indeed, Blake Blue was 189 cm tall, the tallest among them. His comment was dripping with smug sarcasm.

In the end, it was Luna Dawson who, with Little Tiger in her arms, tossed a ball she was holding into the yard. Rollo immediately dashed out in excitement.

She gently patted Little Tiger’s head, coaxing it softly, "Be good, now."

Stepping into the blizzard, she held the cat securely in her left arm while occasionally throwing the ball into the distance with her right. Rollo, for his part, tirelessly ran back and forth to fetch it.

Meanwhile, under the eaves of the villa, a few people were crouched, all making snowballs, which gradually turned into a snowball fight.

Luna Dawson placed large basins all over the front and back yards, planning to store some of the snow in case it might be useful later.

With its fur dampened by the snowflakes, Little Tiger seemed particularly nervous in her arms. Its little paws splayed out like flower petals from time to time, clutching tightly to Luna Dawson’s collar as it let out an unending stream of coquettish "Mmm~ mmm~ meow~ meow meow~."

Luna Dawson lowered her head, rubbing her cheek against its little head and comforting it softly.

Rollo, on the other hand, was completely unaffected by the weather. He was having a blast playing fetch, and his round, rolling body even started to give off wisps of steam as he ran around.

The snowflakes dusting its fur made it look like a powdered sugar puppy bun.

Seeing its appearance, everyone couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Wayne Dawson watched the lively young people and said with envy, "These kids have such a great attitude."

Grandpa Olson laughed heartily. "That’s just how the world is now. If you walk around with a long face every day, are you trying to compete with me on who has more wrinkles?"

After playing like this for half an hour, Luna Dawson took the two little ones into her space. It was the first time everyone had seen Luna herself enter the space with living creatures, and they were once again a little shocked.

As soon as Luna Dawson entered the space, the comfortable 77°F temperature washed over her, making her feel incredibly at ease.

She took off her outer coat and tossed it aside, then led Little Tiger and Rollo into the bathroom. She first rinsed the snow off herself, then gave the two little ones a bath.

Afterward, she plugged in the automatic drying box and carefully placed Little Tiger inside to have its fur blown dry.

As for Rollo, with its Wind Ability, drying its own fur was no problem at all.

Luna Dawson walked over to the rocking chair under the withered tree and lay down. Closing her eyes comfortably, she activated her spiritual power to scan the fruit and vegetable patches in her space.

At her command, the ripe fruits and vegetables were picked and stacked neatly one by one. The seafood tank was restocked with feed, and the fish, shrimp, and other aquatic life in the river were left to grow freely.

The chickens, ducks, cattle, and sheep in the space were all raised to be strong and robust, each one full of vigor.

Luna Dawson picked out some of the harvested fruits and vegetables and tossed them to the animals. Watching them scramble for the food, she couldn’t help but smile.

However, she didn’t dare watch for too long. She was afraid that if she looked at them too much, she’d grow attached and wouldn’t be able to bring herself to eat them later.

After staying in the space for over half an hour, Luna Dawson left holding an umbrella, collected the large basins full of snow, and slowly walked back to the villa.

The moment she stepped inside, she looked up to find a dozen pairs of scrutinizing eyes on her. She couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

"Just wait."

As she spoke, she released Rollo and Little Tiger, causing everyone to cry out in shock.

The two little ones, who had appeared out of nowhere, were now completely transformed. They had become two enormous blobs!

Little Tiger was originally a small tortoiseshell cat weighing only twelve pounds. Now, she was the size of a full-grown tiger, her yellow-and-black striped fur glossy and smooth.

"Mmm~ MEOW! Meow meow? MEOW!?"

She had intended to let out a soft, cutesy meow to get everyone’s affection, but she was so startled by her own deep voice that she arched her back.

Her small, golden eyes darted around, as if trying to find who on earth had made that awful noise.

Rollo, meanwhile, had grown to twice the size of a lion. He stood at least two meters tall at the shoulder, with a body length of about three meters!

The moment he appeared, he shoved the small horse-shaped lamp in the living room aside, his fur shimmering with a golden light.

The moment he saw everyone, he started whining cutely and rolled over to show his belly, asking for pets. Though his body had grown enormous, he was still a baby at heart.

Kevin Keane asked politely, "Boss, how many pounds of poop do you think you’ll have to scoop each time?"

Imagine talking about poop with a beautiful woman.

Luna Dawson rolled her eyes at him. "Little Tiger, Rollo, change back."

As if by magic, the two little ones instantly shrank back to their original sizes.

Lynn Shelby’s fox-like eyes widened. He walked over, picked up Little Tiger, and examined it closely. "This little thing is really something else..."

Hector couldn’t wait to hug Rollo tightly. "Chubby Lulu, you’re so amazing!"

Rhonda Dawson added, "Now he’s a real giant, giant, giant golden retriever. A Big Rollo!"

Miles Dawson’s eyes sparkled. "From now on, I’ll take you out and we’ll be undefeatable!"

Aaron Palmer quickly added, "Me too, I want to take him out too! This is just too cool!"

...

However, the people who had played in the snow showed no changes at all. In this disaster, it seemed that evolved humans had become the forsaken species, while plants and animals were reclaiming the ecosystem at a wildly exaggerated rate of expansion.

Everyone’s sense of crisis deepened, and they trained their superpowers with even greater effort.

In the yard, Luna Dawson, wearing a raincoat, activated her superpower, creating a round water sphere one meter in diameter. Luna felt her superpower straining to maintain the sphere’s shape, draining away bit by bit.

After holding it for nearly ten minutes, Luna Dawson started to feel dizzy—a sign that her superpower was depleted.

But she wanted to hold on for even longer. Suddenly, she felt a warm trickle in her nose. Blood dripped onto the ground, quickly dissipating into the white snow.

Her vision went black. Unable to hold on any longer, her legs gave out and she knelt on the ground. The moment she fell, the water sphere exploded, crashing to the ground and splashing water half a meter high.

A pair of black combat boots entered her vision. Kevin Keane bent down, scooped her up, and started walking toward the house.

"Not bad. Ten minutes and nine seconds. You’re making progress, Boss."

Luna Dawson was completely drained, letting him carry her home. As soon as they were under the eaves, she weakly patted his thigh, signaling for him to put her down.

She took out a cup of spirit spring water and GULP GULP GULP, drank it all down. The dizziness vanished, and she felt much better.

She tried to activate her superpower again. The one-meter water sphere only lasted for thirty seconds before it shattered and burst.

"That’s alright. Still a bit lacking compared to me, though."

"Oh, thanks a lot, Coach Keane."
