"This is why he’s the GOAT. He’s an all-weather, all-terrain ruler. He’s completely different from those so-called ’Gods of Basketball’ who need specific teammates, specific tactics, specific ball possession, and a specific playstyle. He succeeded in Indiana, and he’s succeeding in New York. He will continue to succeed, and he’ll go from one championship to another. I don’t see anyone who can stop him."

"Let’s count them on our fingers."

"Duncan, O’Neal—they’re foes he’s already vanquished. Garnett, the Pistons—they can’t even get a seat at the table. LeBron James is no longer on the same level as Jack. Who else? Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming just look good on paper. Oh, and Kobe. Kobe is formidable, but he can’t be a strong leader."

"Perhaps you could get all these guys to team up and see if they can beat Jack. Otherwise, my prediction will come true, and we’ll win one championship after another."

Isaiah Thomas was no longer content with just predicting this year’s championship; he was already boasting about the ones to come.

This theory of his was bound to offend quite a few people.

And yet, you couldn’t help but agree with his logic.

This year’s Knicks were undoubtedly the weakest they would be for years to come, and yet this weakest version was already up 3-0 and on the verge of winning the championship.

They would only get stronger from here. Who could possibly stop them?

Su Xi didn’t like to talk about the future, nor did he make any predictions for this year’s Finals.

When reporters hounded him after the game, he only said one thing: "We’ll give it our all to get the win."

He refused to answer any questions about a 4-0 sweep or a potential three-peat.

He went back to the hotel early to find Jessica Alba.

This, it seemed, was more important to him.

Jessica Alba had finally recovered some of her stamina and could move again.

Su Xi was like a father trying to cure his son’s video game addiction by buying a week-long pass at an internet cafe and forcing him to play nonstop, without sleep, until he was sick of it.

Su Xi was the same way. He returned to the room and began to satisfy Jessica’s desires.

He was like Er Kang; it wasn’t enough for Ziwei to be full, she had to overflow.

Otherwise, she was bound to throw another inexplicable jealous fit in the future.

’It’s better to make her understand once and for all: I’m not a man who can belong exclusively to anyone.’

’Never try to find my limit. I don’t have one. I only get stronger the longer I go.’

By midnight, Jessica was begging for mercy.

She was caught between pain and pleasure, then utterly exhausted, her throat raw from screaming.

At this moment, Su Xi asked her, "Do you realize now how foolish your jealousy was?"

Jessica remained silent.

So Su Xi prepared for another round.

Jessica couldn’t even lift her arms, but she still managed to reach out a hand to stop him. "I know I was wrong."

Submission!

A smile spread across Su Xi’s face. He liked this kind of submission.

This gave him a greater sense of accomplishment than defeating the Mavericks on the court.

After all, the Mavericks were already dead meat. They weren’t going to make any more waves.

But trouble could flare up in his own backyard at any moment.

Su Xi didn’t want to be bothered by other matters while he was making his run for the title of greatest of all time.

So he had to find an opportunity to deal with it.

The situation with Megan Fox and Scarlett was already taken care of, and Jessica Alba was just about settled. Next, he had to conquer the most difficult mountain of all: Huang Xiaoman.

...

Zach Randolph was thrilled. He could finally get on the court.

"Jack, I feel better than ever right now, seriously. If I hadn’t been suspended, your Finals MVP award would be in jeopardy."

Zach Randolph said to Su Xi on the bus to the arena, "I’m not just hyping myself up. It’s because I’ve been celibate for a month for this."

"That’s pretty impressive," Su Xi said.

Eddie Curry chimed in from the side, "Jack, you must’ve been celibate for a while too, huh? Otherwise, there’s no way you could be this strong and dominant. Don’t all your girlfriends bother you?"

Su Xi thought for a moment, then smiled and nodded. "Yeah, it’s been a while."

’Actually, what I wanted to say was: It’s been almost eight hours.’

But he had no intention of making his teammates feel insecure. It would be bad if he ruined the team’s good chemistry.

Besides, not everyone was blessed with a constitution as robust as his.

’Women only made me draw my sword faster.’

"Jack, what are you going to say after we win the championship tonight?" Crawford asked from nearby. "I mean, I’m super nervous. This is a first for me."

He was speaking for most of his teammates.

After all, in this ragtag group, only Su Xi and Tony Battie had ever won a championship. The others had never even come close.

"What’s there to say? Nothing, really. It’s just another number added to the tally," Su Xi said nonchalantly. Of course, he didn’t mention the other part: the tens of millions in bonus money that would appear in their bank accounts.

That would be a huge motivator for his teammates, too.

Just then, Isaiah Thomas stood up and clapped his hands to get their attention. "Alright everyone, don’t focus on the championship. We need to play a good game, focus on the game itself. Trust me, as long as we stick to the playbook, we’ll definitely win the title."

Thomas was worried. But it wasn’t that he was worried about their focus shifting to the championship. It was that... they would stop following his game plan.

After all, after the last game, he had received unprecedented praise.

Everyone started heaping praise on his tactical command, saying he was the kind of coach who stepped up in a crisis. He let the team play free and easy most of the time, but when the critical moment arrived, he brought out the playbook and instantly demolished the opposition.

Even the commentators who had previously been sympathetic to Miami said, "It seems Isaiah Thomas wasn’t lying. Once they start running their plays, they really are more terrifying."

"If they had used their playbook against the Heat, Miami might have lost even faster. Of course, getting swept 0-4 is as bad as it gets."

Comments like these pushed Thomas’s reputation to new heights.

Sometimes when Su Xi watched TV, he couldn’t help but wonder: ’Was I Isaiah Thomas’s father in a past life? He’s sure riding my coattails in this one.’

Su Xi led the players in shouting their slogan one more time: "United as one, seize the championship!"

This was the last time this season they would shout this slogan on the team bus.

From his very first day at the Knicks’ training camp, Su Xi had been proclaiming that the Knicks would win the championship.

But at the time, no one believed it. Even the New York Media thought it was just wishful thinking on Su Xi’s part.

Yet now, it was all becoming a reality.

The dream they would have been laughed at for speaking aloud was now right before their eyes, within their grasp.

Su Xi led his teammates into the American Airlines Center Arena. The full squad was together again, and their aura was exceptional.

As they began their warm-ups, many media outlets were, in fact, already preparing highlight reels for the Knicks’ championship victory.

Anyone who had watched the first three games knew the Mavericks had no fight left, and they certainly didn’t believe the team could pull off some kind of miracle.

The Dallas fans, too, were well aware of the current situation.

Little Sheep Su Xi’s dominance was more than they could have ever imagined.

After warming up, Su Xi ran into Mark Cuban.

Cuban greeted him, a bitter look on his face. "Jack," he said, "if only you’d joined Dallas last summer."

"Back then, after you said the Mavericks were too strong, if I had just traded away all the players and only kept Nowitzki, would you have joined?" Mark Cuban asked Su Xi.

Su Xi thought for a moment. "Maybe. After all, the West is more challenging than the East."

NO!

Mark Cuban felt a wave of devastation wash over him. If he had known, he absolutely would have done it.

And yet, even if he could turn back time, he could never have imagined Su Xi actually leading the Knicks to the Finals, let alone steamrolling the Mavericks to a 0-3 deficit.

"Will we have a chance to work together in the future? I mean, after your contract with the Knicks is up, will you come to the West?"

"Who knows? Maybe."
