Chapter 189 Extracting Supergirl
"Numerous Universes were stitched together by me, and only Smallville Superman and Wolf Superman could manually separate their own Universes. As for the others, they simply couldn’t manage it!"
Lucas has already reached a high-dimensional level, and the destruction of several singular Universes had no impact on him whatsoever.
Galaxies began to annihilate, laws intertwined with each other, and Earth and stellar civilizations in different World lines burst into scattering streams of light across the sky during the collision.
Lucas withdrew and evacuated.
In just a matter of microseconds, he flashed away from the core of the Speed Force.
Returning once again to the battlefield on the surface of the Earth.
Boom!
Reeve Superman lunged at empty air, forced to stop in the uninhabited vacuum, watching helplessly as different Universes blurred their boundaries and then began to annihilate, just like a collapsing borderland.
...
Battlefield ruins.
Sandstorms howled endlessly, and the short-haired Supergirl was pale-faced, lying amidst the ruins, covered in blood.
Her face was filled with unwillingness.
Her younger brother Clark was captured by General Zod to extract the Codex, and as a result, he lost his life.
Kara was filled with anger, but was taught a lesson by General Zod.
Lying on her back, she saw General Zod land with a crash, his alpha energy hand-blade raised high, preparing to walk over and cut off her head.
Swish!
Lucas descended once again.
He came to Supergirl’s side, with his hands in his pockets, having changed into casual clothes, and even wearing flip-flops on his feet.
"General Zod, isn’t this a bit too cruel?"
"You killed her brother!"
"And now you want to kill the sister too? Are you trying to wipe out the entire Superman family?!"
General Zod stood still in place, his face filled with shock and uncertainty.
With his discernment, he actually couldn’t see clearly how Lucas had appeared.
Such a majestic heartbeat!
General Zod tried to use super X-ray vision to clearly see Lucas’s physical structure, but was rebuffed by the divine power on the surface of his body.
"Who are you?"
General Zod could feel that the fellow in front of him was a terrifying creature with a humanoid shape.
Lucas ignored General Zod.
In this Universe, the Codex was on Supergirl. He was very curious, what kind of terrifying monster would be born from the combination of the Viltrumite bloodline and the Krypton bloodline, combined with the power of the Codex?
"Kara, this incomplete place is about to be blown to smithereens, and you will be devoured by time because you didn’t exist in the first place. So I must ask, what if I give you a new opportunity!"
"Are you willing to follow by my side?"
"Perhaps, you might even get to see other versions of your younger Superman brother!"
Kara clutched her chest, a wound shocking to the eye, where even the internal organs inside could be seen.
"You... who are you again? Are you also an alien monster found by Zod?"
"Of course not."
Lucas said, "My level is much higher than Zod’s. You can understand it as me being able to become the strongest Superman on a Planet filled entirely with General Zods!"
"The gap between us is even greater than the one between you and mortals!"
Kara wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, obviously somewhat untrusting.
Such a powerful warrior, why did he want to save her?
"Goodwill? For the past twenty-something years of my life, I’ve been treated like a monster by the Military on this Planet, locked in a dungeon irradiated by red light!"
"All I’ve seen from mortals is greed and torment."
"If you want me to trust you... you have to prove you’re a good person!"
Lucas grinned. "Child, you’ve stayed down there for too long. Reality isn’t just black and white. I’m no bleeding-heart good guy, nor do I absolutely have to save you!"
"There is also a Supergirl in the CW Universe. Although she’s a bit more troublesome, she can still be of use to me!"
"On the contrary, it’s you who need to prove your loyalty to me!"
Lucas raised his hand and healed Kara’s wounds, allowing her to return once again to her peak condition.
Then...
Lucas manually kneaded an energy sphere of a yellow Sun, striking it from afar into Kara’s body, causing her cells to begin storing energy.
The upper limit of Kara’s cell strength wasn’t that high yet.
Unlike the Henry-Superman version, after all, that person had basked under the Sun for decades, and didn’t kill Zod merely out of consideration for his fellow clan members, only taking ruthless action later when there was truly no other way.
As for Kara, even trying her utmost, she still couldn’t win.
"I am giving you a new starting point. Now, you have been fully charged by me!"
Lucas raised his hand and pointed at Zod.
"Kill him!"
"As long as you can kill him, I will take you away. Conversely, you will be buried in the stream of time along with this Universe!"
Kara stood up, her internal cells incomparably full, completely lacking her previous powerlessness.
Instead, there was a feeling that she could accomplish anything.
Of course, this was an illusion!
She was just fully charged with electricity; her upper limit of electricity capacity hadn’t increased at all.
"What kind of person are you, really?"
Before Kara could speak, General Zod was getting a bit unsure of the situation.
Being able to casually heal a heavily injured Kryptonian and manually knead the light of a yellow Sun—this already exceeded the scope of understanding of Krypton technology!
"I will kill him!"
Red brilliance lit up in Kara’s eyes, her slender fist piercing the air like a blade, instantly slamming onto General Zod’s face.
Lucas crossed his arms and watched the commotion from the side.
There was less than ten minutes left before the Flashpoint Universe shattered.
Within ten minutes, could Kara defeat Zod?
Supergirl and General Zod engaged in a great battle, while the large army brought by Zod, noticing the situation here, began to attack Lucas.
"You guys just settle down!"
Lucas waved his hand.
The heavily armored legion traversing between Planets abruptly froze in mid-air. Following that, from their helmets to their armor, and then to their flesh and bones, everything weathered away bit by bit.
Silently.
Without even feeling any pain.
Such a legion was forcibly evaporated from the causal level, turning into atomic dust floating all over the sky.
Ever since stepping into the multiverse, when dealing with singular combat powers, Lucas didn’t even need to engage in close combat.
Just like the Singer Civilization to Earth, every time he made a move, it was a Dual-Vector Foil level strike.
Abbreviated as: Dimensional reduction strike!
General Zod once again suppressed Kara in turn, but his microscopic perception heard everything that happened at the scene—his own army was instantly wiped out into ashes. This was no longer an ordinary enemy!
This is... a God!
As a result, he got distracted, and Kara seized the opportunity to counter with a rear-naked choke.
If an ordinary person put a rear-naked choke on a boxer, it was possible to choke the other person unconscious.
The gap between Kara and Zod wasn’t that huge, but being caught in a rear-naked choke meant it was a near-death situation.
Kara leaned close to Zod’s ear, "This is for Karl!"
Bang!
With a muffled thud, Kara snapped Zod’s neck.
Zod fell weakly to the ground, his eyes filled with disbelief.
After finishing all this, Kara staggered and knelt on the ground, her heart feeling very lost and confused.
She had taken her revenge.
But what about next?
Clap clap clap!
Lucas began to applaud.
"Not bad, not bad. As expected of someone graced by the Codex, your combat power is indeed constantly increasing. If placed in the Viltrumite Empire, perhaps you could grow up very quickly."
"Of course, that would have to be after The Great Purge..."
Kara came back to her senses and only then remembered that Lucas was still there.
"Who are you?"
"The person who saved your life. You only need to remember this point!"
Lucas directly picked Kara up, carrying her over his shoulder with a single arm.
"It’s time to go!"
He flashed and disappeared.
Not long after Lucas left, a bolt of lightning struck the spot, but missed completely.
