The Boys: Viltrumite Evolution Panel

Chapter 158 Lucas: Too hasty

Doubt came through the communicator, and Wells blocked him: "Barry! Are you crazy? We don’t even know what he wants with the Speed Force! What if he becomes the next Zoom... no, he’s already more terrifying than Zoom!"

Barry said in a deep voice: "Wells, when I came out of the Speed Force, my speed was enhanced. I even think the fundamental forces of the universe are on my side!"

"But do you know? Compared to him, my speed is like a normal person compared to The Flash. He could kill me and Zoom instantly. If he wanted the Speed Force, he could just wring me dry like beef jerky and extract it himself!"

"But he’s negotiating with us, which means he’s at least willing to follow order!"

Lucas listened to Barry’s speculation and nodded slightly.

The Flash’s intelligence is definitely on point, but every season there’s someone faster than him, which is a bit hard to handle.

Lucas clapped his hands, just about to pull Zoom, but the other guy had been knocked unconscious by his slap and hadn’t woken up yet.

[Ding! System Warning!]

In his mind, the system popped up a prompt.

[Detected that the host is attempting to change core plot nodes. This plane has strong causal constraints. As one of the original cores, the Speed Force will cause plane rejection if forcibly stripped and devoured by an outsider.]

[Warning again: This Earth is the only safe transit station. Please keep a low profile and try not to interfere with the real plot of this world to avoid the complete collapse of the transit channel.]

Lucas’s outstretched hand stopped in mid-air.

System’s wording was very subtle. Having experienced being beaten up by a mysterious power in the DCEU, Lucas knew very well that the deity dimensions of some worlds are very high. He had thought the TV version didn’t have these big shots.

"In that case, I’ve been a bit ignorant!"

Lucas returned to silence in a second, like a well-behaved baby, as if his arrogance was just a flash in the pan.

Under Barry’s extremely bewildered gaze, Lucas suddenly dropped from mid-air and flashed into the ruins in the distance.

He lifted Zoom out of the power box as if he were helping an old lady, and even thoughtfully patted the dust off his back, implicitly giving a little healing to make him look unscathed.

"Oh, sorry, sorry! Brother Zoom, my hand slipped just now. I accidentally put my hand on your face. It was my recklessness!"

Zoom was being held by Lucas and didn’t even dare to use high-frequency vibration.

He could feel the strength of the hand, which could easily crush his head.

"Who are you?"

Zoom asked tremblingly.

"Hey, don’t ask, don’t ask. I’m just a hero for fun. I’m just passing through. Look, everyone is a Supe. It’s not easy to build a career in this world full of mortals!"

"So why fight? Why not just make up!"

"Go home! Everyone go home!"

Even Zoom couldn’t keep up with this train of thought.

Are you a character from a gag manga?

The kind with a low sense of humor but high combat power?

When Zoom was researching V-9 (speed serum) back then, he had read comics and absorbed some inspiration.

The Flash, Barry, was messy in the wind.

"Little Flash! Don’t you have a race that determines the fate of the Earth? Keep playing the music, keep fighting, I won’t interfere!"

"I’ll bet on both of you!"

"Well, if there’s nothing else, I’ll go first!"

Before the words fell, Lucas ran away.

Scared, scared!

If he left any later, he would be bedridden in his next life, leaking half a cup of water for every cup he drank.

Barry’s Adam’s apple rolled: "Uh! Zoom, is our race still on?"

Zoom also swallowed, but still propped up the villain’s momentum.

"Well, I’m not feeling well today. Let’s do it at that time!"

Rip!

Zoom turned into a blue flash and fled the scene in a panic.

Barry didn’t have time to think, gritted his teeth, and ran towards Central City.

...

A few minutes later, Barry returned to S.T.A.R. Labs.

He was wrapped in electric light, and before he could stand still, he shouted anxiously: "Cisco Ramon! Caitlin Snow! Are you okay? I searched the whole Central City and couldn’t find the trace of that monster... Supe!"

His voice stopped abruptly.

Because on the rotating leather chair in the room, Lucas was crossing his legs, holding a box of burgers, and a large portion of iced cola.

"The burgers here taste good, Big Belly Burger, right!"

"Much better than the ones in our world. I suspect that in a few years, the burgers in my world will become the size of a small spicy stick!"

On both sides of Lucas, Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow were standing against the wall with their hands raised.

Especially Cisco, the expression on his face had interpreted what fear is, what is weak, pitiful and helpless.

"Barry... what’s on my neck isn’t sweat, it’s urea from fear!" Cisco shouted with a crying voice.

Lucas swallowed the burger in his mouth and rolled his eyes: "Crying? Crying also counts as time! But what are you afraid of? I’m not a demon, I’m just a plain and simple Viltrumite!"

"According to your definition, I am a superhero similar to Green Arrow."

Cisco offered a compliment in time: "Then the city protected by you must be very safe!"

"Well, it’s okay."

Anyway, in The Boys universe, there are definitely no supervillains who can match him.

Caitlin Snow is a senior intellectual after all, and she has a sensitive personality, so she noticed that Lucas really had no hostility, so she took a step forward boldly:

"Uh! Sir, what should I call you?"

"Guardian, Homelander, or Lucas, you pick one."

Lucas didn’t care much about the title.

Anyway, he uses many vests when walking outside, but even if he uses his real name, he is not afraid of being chased along the network cable.

"Then... Lucas?" Caitlin Snow probed.

"You say."

Lucas took a sip of cola.

"Where exactly did you come from? The wormhole over Central City last time, you broke it with your own hands, right?"

"Emmm... I come from another world, this is not easy to explain, but since you have seen Zoom, it means you have started to explore the concepts of parallel universes and multiple Earths..."

"You try to understand from this aspect. If your Earth’s code name is the CW universe system, and strictly speaking, I do not belong to your parallel Earth, but another parallel big world independent of it!"

Hearing this, Dr. Wells raised his head: "Then, this visitor from afar, are you a good person? What is your position?"

"Good person? That depends on how you measure my moral standards."

Lucas grinned.

"I have walked in many worlds. In my own main world, I kill countless politicians and Supe scum in the name of Guardian."

"But you obviously have the justice of ’not killing’, which seems a bit abnormal to me, because the evil in my place is something you may have never heard of or seen."

"Those guys raise and rape kids in private, and even use some kids as consumables for organs and live experiments. Local laws cannot make them pay any price."

"So my companions and I tore those guys to pieces, smeared their flesh and blood all over the wall, and some were even roasted into charcoal."

"Barry, if you measure my behavior by your morality, then I might be an extremely evil villain, not much better than Zoom."

Lucas looked at The Flash.

The TV version of The Flash has a very high moral standard, comparable to Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man.

Even if he turns black, it’s just a small fuss.

To them, he is undoubtedly a terrorist through and through.
