Chapter 250: Clarity
Vivian’s POV
Given all that had gone on just a few hours prior, it was not surprising that the sound of her alarm going off did not wake her.
But the reason that it did not wake her was not one that most people would assume. She had not overslept, instead Vivian did not wake up with her alarm because she was already wide awake when it went off.
It would have been very rude of her to be asleep while Ryan was currently splitting her so good with his dick that she was seeing stars. Being that she was not a rude person, Vivian was wide awake and enjoying every single moment of it.
As another way to show how not rude she was. She had her ankles hooked around Ryan’s lower back, her blunt nails digging into his shoulder blades as he thrust into her.
Slightly delirious from pleasure, Vivian could not help but ask herself a very pressing question as Ryan continued to move within her.
Had he asked her to marry him just so he could kill her with his dick? Deciding that, if that had truly been his intent when he had asked her to be his wife, Vivian chose to believe that it would be a noble way to die. Getting dicked down to the gates of heaven was clearly one of the best ways to go out.
As Ryan continued with his moving in and out of her, Vivian, covered in sweat, with her entire body alight felt her thoughts scatter. Her mind no longer able to form any coherent thoughts as her pleasure intensified.
Unable to take it anymore she gave herself over to her body’s needs. Every single atom in her body just focusing on her getting her pleasure, and boy did she get it. Ryan, beast that he was, managed to get her to climax twice in succession. The man actually trying to ring a third one out of her before she commanded him to behave. Getting him to obey by promising him loads more sex after the work day was done.
Clearly not happy that she was still loyal to her job even as his fiancée. Ryan pouted but it was a situation that she quickly remedied by batting her lashes at him and asking him to join her in the shower.

Just as she had promised him earlier that morning, the moment that Vivian had walked through the doors the two of them had been at it. He had taken her hard in his study. Papers flying everywhere as he’d bent her over the desk.
After that they’d done it in the gym and now they were currently in the bedroom snuggled up together in bed. Ryan was running his hands over her body while Vivian rested her head against his firm chest, the sound of his heartbeat calming her.
"I have really missed things being this carefree and easy between the two of us," He shared. Vivian hummed softly, she completely agreed with his sentiment. The two of them had been going through some seriously rough times. It was lovely to just be in each other’s company without anything pulling them apart.
Moving her head a bit to the side Vivian flicked his nipple and Ryan chuckled. "Are you sure you are up for another round? Last I checked you were the one who was begging me to stop while also threatening to cut off my dick if I dared to pull out completely. So I’m still a little confused on what exactly you want,"
Huffing, Vivian brought her hand to his chest and began drumming her fingers there.
"Maybe we can have another round a little bit later but right now I am happy to just be close to you," Ryan chuckled and she just loved the way that the vibrations traveled through his chest and moved against her cheek. Her hand stilling over his heartbeat, she felt the strong thump-thump there before she began speaking again.
"You know, this entire time when I had been worried that I was going to somehow turn into someone like Bryce. I do not think I was actually worried about that,"
"Really? What makes you think that?" Ryan asked as he dropped a kiss on the top of her head his hand coming up to rub soothingly up and down her arm.
"I have been thinking about it the whole day and I’ve just realized the reason why I could not seem to get over his death," Taking a moment to gather her thoughts and make sure that her reasoning came across clearly, she shared the epiphany that she’d had during the day.
"I was with Bryce for a really long time and he never treated me well during our time together," Ryan’s hold on her tightened and she just knew he was holding his temper back. Bringing up Bryce always made him mad on her behalf.
"When he came to kill me that really showed me just how awful he was. A part of me was hoping that he would be caught and I would be able to tell him everything that I’d never gotten to say to him about how vile he is. But he just popped up, tried to strangle me, vanished and then came up dead a few weeks later"
"Just like that I got no closure, no big moment of telling him how much better I am doing without him in my life," Ryan pressed yet another kiss to the top of her head.
"So what are you going to do now to get over that because you can’t keep letting such negativity cling to you," Shrugging, Vivian rubbed her cheek against his bare chest.
"I have no idea. But one thing that I do know is that I have to find a way to get closure and fully put the Bryce Chapter in the past," And once it was there, it would stay there.
She had a fiancé now, soon he would be her husband and with any luck, there would be children in the future. That was what she wanted, a whole new life, she wanted to start on a clean slate, no hold backs from the past.
