Vivian’s POV

It was finally happening. Vivian was getting ready to move in with Ryan Terrell. It was terrifying but mostly exciting. She had never thought that she would willingly leave her apartment. But knowing that she was going to be with Ryan was making the move feel as though she was not leaving. But rather she was just going to a new, better place. She was so excited about that and Ryan was just as excited as she was.

The two of them had had enough time to plan everything out but still they were taking the extra minutes of Vivian’s commute to work to talk about it some more. Normally they drove in separate cars with Ryan picking from his many, many vehicles while Vivian often stuck to her own old but reliable car.

But that morning she was hitching a ride with Ryan so that they could iron out the minor details of what needed to happen since she would be moving in with him for good that very evening.

His hands gripping the steering wheel, Ryan began to speak. "Alright, so we are agreed on this. Since most of your clothes are at the penthouse, all that you have to do is go to your apartment after work, mark the things that you want the movers to bring directly to the penthouse, and then the rest will go into storage and from there you will keep whichever ones you want for yourself, and you will sell the ones you don’t want,"

Most of what he was saying Vivian agreed with except for one point. Fiddling with her seatbelt, she decided to address the issue.

"When it comes to my most important things, I will not be leaving them behind for the movers. I will be going there later and taking them myself," Ryan tapped at his steering wheel as they waited for the light to turn green.

"Vivian, I have literally hired some of the best people in the business. You do not need to be straining yourself, lugging around some heavy things. Just stick to the plan. Mark whatever it is that is most important to you, and they will handle it with care, I promise you,"

Realizing that he was not getting what she was saying at all Vivian decided to stop trying to be subtle and just say what she meant.

"Ryan, I do not care how professional the movers are, I do not want anyone touching my green dildo, or staring at the drawing of your dick. Those things are only for the two of us," Choking on air Ryan coughed for a few seconds. Then when the coughing fit ended he could not immediately say anything because he was busy focusing on driving as traffic began to move again.

"Alright, you have a point there. Obviously there some very precious things that can only be seen by our eyes only and nobody else’s," Glad that they were finally on the same page Vivian nodded. After staring at the cars zooming past them, she looked over at him.

"Which do you think is best, should I just shove everything into a box, or would it be better for me to just carry it all out in a handbag," She meant the question seriously, but Ryan clearly found it funny. Letting out a breathless laugh, he briefly turned to her before refocusing on the road ahead.

"Whatever you choose to carry them out in, so long as it won’t scandalize the neighbors, I am certain it will be fine,"

When they finally arrived at the school, Vivian did not immediately get out and head into the building. Instead she took a moment and stayed in the car a bit longer.

"You do not have to come and fetch me after school, I will just take public transport, head over to my apartment, take what I need and then I will make my way to the penthouse. Things will be more efficient that way,"

Ryan did not even pretend to be considering her idea before he was shaking his head.

"Absolutely not, you need not go through all of that. I will be coming here to pick you up and then the two of us will head to the apartment together, things will be faster that way,"

"But Ryan, that will be way too much for you. I know you will be tired, and just wanting to go home and rest," She tried to convince him otherwise, but the man was just too stubborn.

"Come on Viv, it is not just you who will be saying goodbye to the place. I also have fond memories of the apartment. Would you really deny a man the chance to say goodbye," Vivian huffed, he had her beat there. The place had sentimental value to both of them.

"Alright fine, I was just trying to save you from inconveniencing yourself," Smiling lightly, Ryan shook his head.

"You can never be an inconvenience to me, Vivian Rose, besides, I will be handling some business in the area so it will not be too much extra driving for me," Vivian knew for a fact that that was a lie.

She’d overheard Ryan on the phone the night before, he would be working on the other side of the city. So it would take significant effort on his part to come and pick her up, but still the man seemed determined, so she decided to let him do what he wanted to.

"Fine, see you later," Undoing her seatbelt, she leaned in for a kiss and Ryan met her halfway, Vivian stepped out of the car just as two of her colleagues were pulling into the parking lot.

Oh goodness, knowing that she was about to get grilled if she did not get a move on, she did not even stand around and wave Ryan goodbye. Instead she took off running. As she headed for her classroom, she just knew that safe in the comfort of the car Ryan was laughing, like there was no tomorrow.
