When he had thought about how they would be spending the weekend. Ryan had believed that it would mostly be just the two of them lazing about in the penthouse. With Vivian taking some time to recover after finally returning to her job. But that was not the case.
"Let me take you out on a date," Those were the words that Vivian had woken him up with that Saturday morning. Now it was evening and they were on the date that Vivian had promised him. When they had first pulled up, Ryan had been nervous, worried that there would be too many people watching and filming them instead of going about their business. But the bowling alley that Vivian had taken them to was full of old people and none of them had a clue who he and Vivian were. Which gave them all of the anonymity that they needed.
In the past, whenever Ryan had gone bowling, either he had done so on one of his properties, or he had made sure to book out the entire place so that he would not be bothered. But being able to go out and enjoy the activity amongst people was fun. What made it even more fun was that Vivian was actually pretty good, so she gave Ryan a run for his money. Biting down on a pizza that looked as though it had been made in opposition of every single healthy food out there, Ryan smiled at Vivian as he chewed.
"I take it you are having fun," Vivian asked and he did not even bother lying, just nodding.
"I have never been to one of these with strangers from the public there. Normally I book a place and I bring Mark, or some business partners,"
Holding her straw between her lips Vivian drank some soda. Then she reached out and patted his hand lightly.
"Sometimes I forget how isolating your life can be. But never fear. Now that regular old Vivian is in your life, I will make sure that you get to enjoy all of the things that normal people do,"
On one hand, the sentiment was sweet, but on the other, Ryan did not believe that anything about her was regular. Vivian was extraordinary and he told her as much. Not suppressing a grin when her entire face turned pink.
