The Coffee Shop in a Different World Station

Two, the old gentleman and Morning waiting to start.

The mornings at the different world station buildings are early. Takumi wakes up before 6: 00 a.m. before the sun rises.

I was initially anxious to get up every morning without sleeping when I came to “This World” where I didn't have an alarm clock, but it also had the effect of sunshine bathing over the curtain, and once I got used to it, it wasn't that bitter.

If you look next door, as always Nyarch has turned into the inhabitant of the dream world.

When Takumi got out of bed to keep her sleeping gnarch awake, she quickly got fit and changed to her usual work clothes before leaving the room softly.

The morning of Takumi starts with preparing for business in the kitchen.

When I started the coffee shop in the corner of the waiting room in this station building, it was only open at noon, but now it is open twice, morning time and lunchtime, with requests from customers.

Morning-time sales, which are frequently used by customers waiting to start at 9: 00, were set to start at 7: 30 a.m. until 8: 50 a.m. to start the ticket.

Takumi in the kitchen starts with the preparation of coffee.

In "This World”, coffee made with cinnamon was swallowed by populists, and even the coffee shop "Swallow" served cinnamon coffee according to customer preferences.

Fold the cinnamon stick in a pan with plenty of water and place on high heat on the rocket stove.

From the entrance to the rocket stove of a simple but engineered structure made to make use of the firewood firepower in vain, the sound of an air called goo being sucked in was heard.

While waiting for the water to boil, Takumi takes out a slightly larger hand ground mill and puts the coffee beans in the hopper.

Coffee beans used in this shop were bought roasted from the Chamber of Commerce introduced by the Station Manager. Takumi had decided to grind the beans first thing in the morning just for use in a day.

Turn the old handle of the mill and the crisp, comfortable sound spreads around. Eventually, when the beans in the hopper were removed, the aromatic aroma rose to one side from the slightly coarsely ground coffee beans.

When I finished grinding the coffee beans, the water in the pan was ringing the sound of bukbuk.

Ground beans containing moisture swell up as you add the previously ground coffee beans into sufficiently boiling water.

Leave it there for a little while, then drop the pan off the rocket stove in anticipation of the fit as the ground beans go around gluing in the pan and place it on top of a wooden pan laying. Leaving it there for a while, the ground beans that were groping and spinning slowly sank.

Where the ground beans have precipitated somewhat, transfer the fine monkey of the mesh to a pan for insulation while using tea instead to prevent the powder from entering.

Cinnamon coffee thus prepared for mornings was placed in a location at a low temperature on the edge of the oven stove's top plate, which was kept on fire until it was open.

When the clock needle turned around 6: 30, a muscular successful man came into the kitchen with a gauntlet open and a blue forelock.

It is a gard that wholesales the main ingredients like milk, eggs, meat and vegetables in this store.

He has talked to Takumi, who has just one paragraph of coffee preparation, with ingredients full of eyes, as usual.

"Whoa, I brought you your share of the day. Should I just leave it there?

"Oh, thank you. It's really helpful every day."

"I mean fine. This is business, too."

Gardo carries into the kitchen one large can of brisket that he had brought as luggage, a box full of eggs, as well as various ingredients such as vegetables and meat.

Takumi checked each and every ingredient that Gardo carried and prepared the price.

"This is how we can operate, because we have Mr. Gardo who can carry the ingredients properly every morning."

"No, no, the farm was originally early in the morning, and it was introduced by the station manager."

"Still, we really appreciate it because we can prepare so many things like this that we can serve our customers a delicious meal"

In response to Takumi, who says so and bows, Gardo responds with a bang on his back with a big palm.

"Well, Takumi would cook our ingredients deliciously. Thank you very much. See you tomorrow."

Gardo blurted out, but responded to Takumi's appreciation with a slightly lit look, leaving the store behind.

After dropping off Gardo, Takumi felt a warm pain in his back, while splitting the ingredients he planned to use in today's morning into the kitchen table and transporting the other ingredients into the pantry.

◇ ◇ ◇

Takumi drew a cage of eggs on hand from the ingredients left at the kitchen table. It's for boiled eggs that can accompany the mornings.

In the coffee shop that was in Takumi's hometown, when it comes to mornings, 'bread salad, boiled eggs'. I couldn't have removed this three-piece set as a takumi more than to open a coffee shop like this in "This World”.

Takumi puts water in the pan anew, where, quietly, fresh eggs just brought in by Gard, he sets fire to the rocket stove.

And when the water boiled, it was hard to predict the fit, and I flipped the biggest of the hourglasses I had on the kitchen table.

There's nothing convenient about kitchen timers in this world, but by making good use of these large, medium, and small hourglasses, I can safely make dishes that change the finish in time.

While the eggs are being boiled, get on with the task of chopping the vegetables that have been divided up.

There are three types of vegetables available today: seboria (onions) and sanaoria (carrots), which have just arrived in Leporio (cabbage).

Tacumi is carefully washed with water drawn away, peeling the Leporio leaves one at a time. He then stacked the Leporillo leaves and chopped them as fine as possible with a knife, leaving them in the monkey for a while to drain.

Sebolia peels brown and washes water once. Then, cut off the unsuitable areas for top and bottom eating, then cut them in half, and then slice this one as thin as possible before exposing it to water. Sanaolia was also peeled and washed with water, then sliced thinly and chopped into thinner pieces.

Takumi, who has finished chopping vegetables, goes on to prepare the dressing. In a bowl, squeeze in wine vinegar, salt, pepper, honey, colza oil, and limon (lemon) fruit juice, a yellow rugby ball shaped citrus, and mix well.

There, the fruit of Naranha (orange) was cut into pieces, then chopped from the skin to match, and beaten slightly with a foam to match the flavor and aroma of Naranha to the whole dressing. When you look at the pepper and the flavor, the more sour and sweet it spreads in your mouth.

While nodding satisfactorily, transfer the vegetables just prepared below into a large bowl and spin the citrus dressing while filtering with a monkey to gently mix.

The Leporillo leaves are slightly stiff, even if chopped, and slightly less edible as they are, so he put in an idea to soften them up a bit beforehand to go with the dressing.

When Takumi, who completed today's morning salad, glanced at the kitchen table, the sand on the hourglass was just about to fall off.

Takumi takes out the eggs dancing in the pan one by one on the ladle (eggs) and puts them in the pan where the water is drawn and kept.

I just put it all in, once I cut off all the water, the freshly pumped water is poured out again. By changing the water several times in this way, the coarse heat was removed and the boiled eggs were ready.

The third bread in the Morning Three-Piece Set is cornbread with corn flour.

When Takumi started her coffee shop in "This World," she thought about the cost and tried to figure out if she could make her own cornbread, but she couldn't cook it very well.

In the first place, Takumi didn't even have the experience of baking bread with flour, and just about all of this couldn't help being an amateur.

The bread currently served at the store was being wholesaled from the store introduced to me by the "station manager" who saw Takumi struggle.

Cornbread purchases the previous afternoon in anticipation until lunch the following day. This was also an arrangement with the other party that had its own shop.

But even though it's from the day before, it won't hurt if you store it properly, and the flavor isn't so much off. Moreover, if lightly toasted, the fragrant flavors of corn will be revived and can be confidently served to the customer.

Takumi carefully sliced the cornbread that had been removed from the pantry into the appropriate thickness and placed it in a cage.

◇ ◇ ◇

Takumi checking the clock so far ready. The clock needle had already been plugged in at 7 a.m., leaving about half an hour until the opening of the coffee shop.

Takumi hurries to the "final preparations”. Washing his hands with the cold water being pumped into the kitchen, he rushed upstairs and pinned it perfectly on Nyarch's cheek, which was transforming him into a dream dweller in his own room as usual.

"Hahhhhh!!! I hate that wake-up call!!! Oh, but it feels good to be cold...... ZZZZZ"

Nyarch trying to get to sleep again, although he woke up for a moment. Takumi grabbed the cat and lifted his back.

"Here! You can't sleep twice! It's opening soon, so hurry up and come downstairs."

"I knew it. I don't know what else to do."

To Nyarch, who crawls out of the futon with Mozomozo and starts undoing his sleeping roll unconsciously, Takumi says, "If you sleep twice after this, it's a punishment -" he calls out again and then goes downstairs.

Takumi returned to the kitchen and took the finishing touches.

Cornbread, salad, and boiled eggs are each served in cages and bowls for a coffee shop space counter.

Cinnamon coffee was also transported to the counter for each pot and placed on a small oven stove ceiling. Of course, I won't forget to put a spark for thermal insulation in the furnace.

Thick white coffee cups, plates made of porcelain, and sugar served with forks, spoons, and coffee were also prepared one after another.

Takumi, who has made sure that she is ready for the opening, will have two plate plates and a coffee cup, separate from the earlier one.

Then add two cornbread to the oven of the counter and serve the salad and boiled eggs on each of the two plate plates.

I then poured cinnamon coffee into the two cups and served the cornbread toast removed from the oven on a plate plate. Prepare breakfast for ourselves with a tasting.

Just in time for a full breakfast, Nyarch finally came down to the ground floor.

"It's a treat. Good morning!

"Hopefully, it would help if you woke up a little sooner to help me......"

"Hmm, think horizontally."

Sigh leaks unexpectedly from Takumi's mouth in reply to Nyarch's uncontrolled smile and very palpable through-the-expression.

Well, there's no choice. If the store gets a little busier, we'll get proper help then... Takumi snapped so in her heart.

"Well, today, I'll have it"

"You'll have it!

Takumi goes on to eat breakfast, checking the flavors one at a time.

The bread is delicious, and the salad is just right seasoned with salted plums. Boiled eggs with rough heat are easy to peel off and are in good condition as per the fire.

It's a flavor that I can confidently serve myself, but... Takumi looks up in a chill as she asks for Nyarch's reaction.

And I checked with the owner of a taste that was sharper than I was, “yes or no” to today's dish.

"How about today's?

"Mmm, it's just delicious today! I hope you have plenty more customers today!

To Nyarch's word, Takumi took a sigh of relief.

"Right. Well, shall we do our best to please you today? Well, thank you again today."

Takumi says so, quickly cleaning up the plates they both finished eating. Then, after looking around the store again for a final inspection, he unlocked the door to the store's entrance and put on the "In Business" bill.

◇ ◇ ◇

"Thank you for waiting! You brought cinnamon coffee. Yikes. This is Morning's service."

"Oh, thank you. Still looking good in the morning."

Nyarch's energetic voice persists in the shop of Tsubame, a coffee shop that opened as usual today.

My biggest customer today was a regular old gentleman, Sabbath.

Sabbath, a trader with a white moustache, leaves on the most train once a week for a business meeting with the Chamber of Commerce of a large store three stops away. When I arrived early at the station, I was looking forward to spending some time in the morning at this coffee shop.

Sabbath first puts large amounts of sugar in cinnamon coffee with the slightly browned grain that was served.

Mixed well with a spoon, the nostrils were tickled with a caramel-like aroma along with the warmth of cinnamon coffee.

Sabbath slowly includes a bite in his mouth while being careful not to burn.

The bitterness of the coffee was accompanied by a rich sweetness and spicy, sharp flavor of cinnamon, with a wonderful, eye-catching taste that spread through Sabbath's mouth.

He then also reaches for the morningset of services.

Toast was the first thing I put my hands on. In today's Morning Set, two small pieces of cornbread were available.

From the lightly toasted cornbread just before, the fragrant aroma of corn rises and the crisp toothfeel provides comfort if included in the mouth.

Sabbath, who quickly ate the first piece of toast, then peeled the shell of the boiled eggs, adding just a little salt before eating.

This way of eating was taught by Acting Station Manager, who is also the owner of this shop. The flavour is tightened thanks to salt rather than eating as it is, and the taste of the eggs stands out.

The salad, which was followed by a stretch of fork, also played a refreshing and delicious taste of fresh, shaky repolo with the spiciness of Sebolia and the sweetness of Sanaolia, as well as the sweet and sour taste of the sauce that binds it.

Sabbath pinches the remaining salad into the cornbread just after eating about half of the salad. This is Sabbath's favorite these days.

Pinching the salad in this way adds a touch of dressing and vegetable moisture to the cornbread toast, which leaves it feeling a little crisp, giving it a completely different taste than before.

Sabbath made this way of eating a classic once he learned about this delicacy, even though he didn't think it was a bit behaving.

Sabbath, who finished his morning set, wraps up his breakfast this morning with the last coffee he left behind and pays for it.

The price is only 4 for copper coins. It's nothing like the price of a cup of coffee when it was open for lunch. In other words, Morningset is treated as a "totally free service".

"But, Master, how hard is it to prepare all this food in the morning? I was wondering if I could get paid properly for this meal..."

Sabbath speaks naturally of doubts about doing business. But Takumi answered this with a smile.

"No, this is normal in my hometown. Instead, if I get paid separately by Morning Services, they'll laugh at me. Besides, don't worry, there's been a bit more regular customers coming over for lunch these days as well as Morning. Mr. Sabbath, please come to lunch next time you have time."

"Shit, now you have to come to lunch, too. No, let me make time for you to come soon. For once, I wanted to try a menu other than Morning."

"I'll be waiting for you. Now, please wait a little longer before you start the ticket. Now if you'll excuse me here."

Sabbath watched as Takumi returned to the counter there as well.

Shall I try and buy some interesting ingredients for today's business meeting? This young man will surely make any ingredient a great dish.

Yes, it was Sabbath, who took a few meal breaks in the waiting room until the ticket began, with anticipation in his chest.
