The Coffee Shop in a Different World Station

After deciding on the “first flavor” as "steamed bread with curry," the prototype went well.

After several prototypes, the ingredients are simply determined to be only three: pork, seboria (onions) and sanaoria (carrots). Those ingredients were to be thoroughly chopped for easy wrapping in the fabric.

It was also decided that it should be made into a sautéed boiled type curry so that it would be easy to wrap as an ingredient, thus reducing the amount of juice.

In order to push the curry flavour forward, the ingredients in the ingredients will be spiced and finished with plenty of spice, while the bread fabric will also be formulated with a spice mix to flavour the curry.

In addition, the idea was to add grated hen hives (ginger) to the ingredients so that they could warm up from the core of the body.

When wrapping ingredients in the dough, small pieces of cheese were added along with the stir-fried simmered curry. I choose the “melt type” that I use for pizza and toast for this cheese. The addition of cheese creates mellowness as well as adding a warm texture.

As the finished shape was generally visible, preparations were also under way for Fidel to focus and sell as an outdoor store.

For portable sized pans and steamers that would be required for outdoor cooking, Gustav, the mechanic guild leader, had been commissioned to make them through Takumi.

The steamer made of wood is made exactly the same size as a pan of metal for boiling water, allowing the hot air to rise efficiently. I also appreciated the fact that it was an easy size to carry, assuming it was to be used outdoors.

Meanwhile, the management staff at the Station Carriage Boarding Station, where Fidel has an outdoor shop, will support arrangements such as stoves, firewood and water for cooking.

Fidel's reputation for selling and selling sandwiches is well known to the boarding house staff, and he bought me cooperation “if I were to drop by” for this new attempt.

Permission was granted that water for cooking may be used from the water supply originally drawn to the waiting area. Firewood was also to be arranged together with the fireworks to be prepared at the boarding station.

As for the remaining stoves, the prospect was raised that they could be handled by having the bricks deposited at the waiting area and assembled to serve as a simple rocket stove (Kamado) when used.

It goes without saying that Fidel's daily hard work was the driving force in solving the great challenge of steaming bread's outdoor sales.

―――

Preparations continued steadily thereafter, and Roland and Fidel were finally working on the "final test assuming production".

Fidel stands in front of the same brick-loaded rocket stove she uses in production, prepared just outside the back door of the coffee shop, the swordfish, and in turn firewood. Hot air was boiling well from the gap in the steamer tree lid placed on the stove.

By its side, Roland, and Luna, who had only begun to participate with him in the prototype, watched as the sand on the hourglass placed on the platform fell off, swallowing solidly.

As the lamp lights illuminate around, the sound of shoe echoes around.

Eventually the last grain of the hourglass fell down. At last, when the steam was up, Roland and Luna rushed up in front of the steamer.

Fidel, with a cloth wrapped around her hand, speaks to the two of them to avoid burns with the rising hot air.

"Okay, let's open it..."

As Fidel gently lifted the lid of the wooden frame placed on top of the large pot, the white hot air rose momentously from above the wooden frame.

In it, a round steaming bread of palm size was steaming up nicely. The yellow coloured surface is finished as you can imagine. The spicy aroma characteristic of the curry was also slightly felt from the hot air.

Fidel gently lifted the steamed bread with a wooden tong given to her by Roland. It conveys a firm weight. In Fidel's mind, expectations soar.

Fidel puts “steamed bread with curry" one at a time in a pre-prepared paper bag - made by folding the finished newspaper - and distributes it to Roland, Luna, and herself.

Going over to all of them, the three look at each other and slowly break the steaming bread in the paper bag into two pieces.

Standing hot air, and an exciting aroma that spreads around. The sound of a loud stomach rang from where it was stimulated by the scent.

"... sorry, this is such an embarrassment"

"No, no, because it's a natural phenomenon. So that sounds delicious, right? Hey, Roland?

"Ah, oh. I admire you the best!

Fidel and Roland try to put a follow on Luna dyeing her face bright red. However, because of the panic, the words that popped out of my mouth weren't really followed. The three look at each other and laugh at the couscous.

Then we gazed at each other, nodded one and then aligned our voices.

"" Well, here we go. ""

After a cheerful hanging, Fidel cheeked with a loud mouth.

Repeating the prototype, the fabric is as fluffy as you can imagine, and the balance between sweetness and spice flavors is exquisite.

The curry put in as an ingredient is aromatic and the hot spiciness stimulates the mouth. That's not just hard either. The taste of pork and the sweetness of Sebolia and Sanaoria were added to the stimulating spiciness, which gave it a truly savory flavour.

There's the cheese. The trollies and the cheese melted from the inside reduce the texture of the dough and the spiciness of the curry is rounded out. The soft richness had enhanced the taste of the whole curry steamed bread.

"Wow... that's delicious..."

Luna, who had bellied earlier, was savoring the steamed bread with a lucid look. I was worried about the spiciness, but apparently they liked it.

Roland, on the other hand, is proceeding to eat to see if he cares about the details. Still, yeah, yeah, I nodded over and over again, and apparently it had a satisfying finish as a maker as well.

"I honestly don't think it tastes like re-steaming (...). As far as I'm concerned, I can get this out with confidence."

To Roland's words, Fidel also continues.

"Oh, it's easy to carry if you take every crate of steamer, and if you keep it on the pan all the way at the store, you can keep it out of the hockey. This isn't so much cooking as it is cooking, so I think I'll be fine."

"It's warmer than that, more than anything! And this, if you were doing it on the corner - it would be noticeable! On the way home from school or something, if you're standing in such a delicious looking hot air, you're going to want to stop by unexpectedly!

I've joined the conversation between the two with Luna's bouncing voice. Slightly stretched under his nose, the two return words to Luna in a gentle tone slightly different from when they were alone in conversation.

"You sure look like you could pull the trigger. All right, let's do business on Luna's way home!

"You don't have to buy that! Brother Roland is ready, and I'm going to make you something else!

"Oh, Temehe, you're talking about yourself, brother or something!

"I'm older than Luna, and that's good! More than that, a little fox like you wouldn't even call me brother if I were older. And no!

"Damn there big rabbit, isn't that the youngest of the sweet ones! What are you doing here?

In the end, the two of us go back to the usual hang-up. Stuck between those two, Luna was shaking her neck left and right with an oro.

That's when the door to the back door of the kitchen opened in a gutter. You heard the lively interaction, and Takumi broke in between them.

"Yes, yes, let's make it around that too to fight amicably. Mr. Luna is in trouble."

To Takumi's words, the two turn much towards Luna. How sad that look was, wrinkles leaning between my eyebrows. The two panicked, shoulder to shoulder, speak to Luna.

"Luna, that's a joke! Look, we're really so close! Hey, Roland?

"Oh, oh! We always make fun of each other, but we're really best friends!!

Luna stares at the two with a wrinkle between her brows. The two stared, worried about what to do, because it was time for the two of them to start singing shaking their shoulders.

Luna was taken lightly by the look of it, but eventually she breathed out a puff of breath when she couldn't stand it.

"I know! Roland, your brother, Fidel, you're really close!

That's how Luna jumped in between them. They both scratch their cheeks polypolished with what a grumpy look they have.

But to Luna's what a happy look, well, I was thinking two of us should decide to say that.

―――――

"Yeah, this is so yummy too!

"Yeah, it's very tasty to finish. It won't be a problem.

The three of them back in the kitchen had Takumi and Nyarch tasting “steamed bread with curry” for final confirmation.

The three of them, who were still somewhere nervous, although confident, gave a relieved look at the sign of acceptance that was put out in time.

You don't have another Nyarch? and as he raises his swallowing voice, Takumi utters a naughty word to Roland, the “disciple”.

"It's quite complete, well thought out about the customer. But you thought of Curry."

"Curry Mandarin?

Roland overheard the unfamiliar words emanating from Takumi.

Takumi agrees with one person and then begins explaining to Roland how he noticed the opposite question.

"Yeah, the ingredients in the dough are different, but there was a similar dish in my hometown. There were many other variations in the ingenuity of fabrics and ingredients, such as meat, Amman and seafood. They were all popular products in winter."

"Huh? Really? I thought I could invent something amazing, but, well, there's already something similar..."

I thought it was my original dish that no one could imitate, and Roland dropped his shoulder disappointingly after Takumi explained it.

Takumi tries to follow up on the unexpected reaction, but sooner than that, words popped out of Fidel's mouth.

"But hey, you made this one, definitely your own original. That's for sure my word! That was steamed bread or curry, I was referring to Takumi's cooking, but he said it was your strength that put it together in this shape!

Roland is a kyoton for words he doesn't normally hear from Fidel in tune. To the word, Takumi nodded one too, then went on to say it again.

"Right. Mr. Fidel is right. It's definitely your strength, Roland, to use what you've learned so far to shape a new one. Keep your chest tight.

Fidel was also praised by Takumi, and Roland's expression was finally sunny.

"Oh, well! Thank you! I'm going to try harder!

Fidel makes a breakthrough on Roland, who is finally back to his usual condition.

"Right, for now, even if you're going with this curry steamed bread, I'd like to give you lots of variations from now on. There may be the cost of the ingredients and the steps to prepare them, but let's try all sorts of ideas again!

"Ouch! You're the one who's going to make sure the guests get it!

"Sure! Let's start tomorrow!

When Roland and Fidel hung each other's ales, they put their arms together.

Luna, watching how those two “brothers” were doing, spoke out loud.

"Now it's like sweet dessert, too, I'm not making it all!

"" Rika!

Whatever “sister” asks, both Roland and Fidel reply well. After that, the three of them were left alone, and it was time to clean up after them.

The way Roland and Fidel joined forces to overcome the wall (the challenge) was something that made them feel like they were growing big. I am also delighted that Luna had two siblings close to her age, although in an unexpected way.

This time it seemed to lead the three of us in a better direction than Takumi thought.

It was Takumi smiling at the three of us cleaning up amicably, looking forward to the future growth.
