The Coffee Shop in a Different World Station

27 Winter Festival Poetry and Soup Controversy (1/4 pt.)

"One last time I grabbed a rope - I don't know - a huge one?"

In the basement of a station building lit with a small lamp, one girl peered into a chimney that led to the ceiling with her eyes wide open as she sang an improvised spinning song.

Being a sub-person of Slaughterlis, she has the same power that the person can look over in the dark as at noon by means of her doubly large, black-eyed tenuous eyes. The inside of the chimney, confirmed by its eyes, had been cleaned of coal due to the results of her “job", chimney cleaning.

It is not as good as new, but I have taken the lump that was my eye. Confirming that her “job", chimney cleaning, was a satisfactory finish, she called out loud into the chimney.

"Hey, this one's over - eh. Are you sure you want to go?

"Ah, whoa, whoa!

It was voices like boys that returned as they rang through the chimney - a response from the “other party" on the rooftop side. Apparently, the work we were doing on the rooftop side was also successfully completed.

The girl sounds through the chimney again.

"Then the work will be done - hey! Clean it up and come downstairs."

"Yes! Then the rope won't wind up this way."

I also got a bounced voice back from “the other party" through the chimney. She pulls the rope so gently that it sends a signal and then releases her hand. Then, when the rope with the coal used to clean it went up into the chimney.

The girl, who confirmed the rope was going up, began cleaning up around herself. Collect the cleaning tools you have at hand and then pound the coal on your work clothes. It's really a tough job to get dirty on, but she didn't care much, rather she was doing her job enjoying combing with the other side.

As the girl was cleaning up, the basement door where she was was was knocked concocted. She says, "Beyond the door, please."

Coming to the basement was Takumi, who is also my client for today's job. Takumi speaks to the girl who was asking her to clean the chimney.

"Good luck, Mr. Aldi. Is the cleaning job about to be done?

"Mostly over! All you have to do is reconnect the chimney with this tiny" kama ”and you're done! Come on."

The girl, called Aldi, responds that way to Takumi and puts an L-shaped tube through the chimney. Then connect the pipe through the chimney to the smoke outlet of the large kiln and secure it with a nut. Tightening the nuts one by one tightened it was her way to beat the cone and see if there was any looseness.

After carefully tightening the nut to the last one, she took a fuzzy big breath. Apparently, the work is done safely.

Having wiped the sweat off his forehead with the sleeves of his work clothes, Aldi reported to his client in front of him on the completion of the work with a unique saving like singing.

"Ouch!" That's it.

"Thank you. If you do that, you will be boiling the bath, so please drop the coal. Could you tell Mr. Cardy to come with us?

"Thank you - sooo much. ♪ Well, let me sweeten you - sooo much"

To Takumi's offer, Aldi gives thanks with a cheerful song. The bath is always exceptional after a good job. Aldi always thinks it's no exaggeration when it comes to working looking forward to this time.

Having quickly cleaned up his cleaning tools, Aldi ran up the stairs that lead to the back entrance of the station building when he paid off all the coal in his work clothes again.

―――――

"So you can use the heating tomorrow, right? The station office is just getting cold, so it helps."

Theo, who gave a paragraph of the station building operation, came to the kitchen of the "swordfish" with a report to Takumi and a late lunch. Theo, who was briefed by Takumi on the start of using the heating, accidentally breaks his face.

"I would like to leave the charcoal number of the heating kiln (boiler) to Theo, would you mind?

"Uh, was it definitely three replenishments a day?

"Yes, we will check the fire first thing in the morning here, so please refill the steamed coal (cokes) at a set time. Shall we decide after the bidding of the train arriving at our station?"

"Then it's easy to remember. Quickly add to business records"

As Takumi and Theo were confirming the steps, a voice was heard from the back door of the kitchen. After cleaning the chimney, it looks like Aldi, who was in the bath for the coal drop, is back.

Takumi came in - speaking up, Aldi came into the kitchen with the other boy, Cardi, all together.

"Refreshing and reviving - with good hot water" "It was"

"No, thank you for this one. Here you go first."

Give Takumi some pre-cooled milk to the two of them who will sing in tune. When they received that milk with a full grin, they drank it all at once with Gokugoku and carried on their breath puffy.

Takumi, smiling at that stunning drink, continues the conversation as she receives her empty cup.

"It's late, but as we talked about earlier, we have lunch for you, so please enjoy it.

"Wow, thank you." "Thank you." "Thank you."

How excited they were for lunch from Takumi, the two tried to dance across the street with a full grin before bowing their heads.

Takumi then instructs Theo to add a chair for both of them to a small table by the kitchen. Theo's lunch is just around the corner. After carrying the chair, Theo greeted the two little people at the same table.

"First of all, I started working in this station building this year. I'm Theo."

"You're the newbie." "Begin."

"Revealed in winter -" "Going somewhere in spring -" "

"" It's Aldi and Caldi's chimney cleaner - sooo ""

The two singing up with their big eyes twitching. Theo manages to blow himself away at that one-of-a-kind introduction.

Takumi, who was watching the thing in front of the oven stove, called out as she somehow made Theo take the time between them.

"Lunch will be ready shortly, just a few more moments. Today will be a dish made with Almeja brought to us by Roland."

Almeja is two shells very similar to clams and clams. "This world” is eaten all year round, but at this time of winter when the cold is withheld, it is said that it grows greatly and builds up a good taste. This is a typical ingredient that goes up to every household's table and announces the coming of winter.

Nevertheless, the usual “swordfish” menu does not feature dishes made with Almeja. Because Armeja, the two shells, could be chewing “sand” just like clams and clams.

They say you can sand it out if you put it on salt water overnight, but it's still hard to get it to a complete zero. Regardless of what we ate for ourselves, Takumi, who thought it would be unfortunate if there was any sand left in the dishes served to customers, refrained from adding Almeja to the menu as of now.

But going back to talking about yesterday. A large crate containing Almeja was carried in Roland's hands, who came to work during the usual hours.

Anything, Armeja this year was about an unprecedented abundance of fishery, and the mother of Roland let me have it to thank her for always taking care of me.

Even though it was difficult to serve the seasonal ingredients and swordfish menu that we received because of this, Takumi thought it would be useful for bribing ourselves, soaking Almeja in salt water during yesterday and preparing it for use in today's bribes.

It was a miscalculation that went hand in hand with the timing of Aldi and Cardi's chimney cleaning, but Takumi, who decided that Almeja, which was exceptionally less than for commercial use and took all day and night to carefully sand out, would manage to be okay, had decided to offer both of them a bribe using Almeja.

On the oven stove, the lid-covered frying pan was carefully warmed.

The lid of that frying pan, which was prepared in anticipation of the time, is opened by Takumi's hand. Then a white hot air rose from the inside, and Armeha appeared from the inside, with his mouth wide open.

Armeja's body, steamed in white wine, is prickly to see. The soup accumulated below was also dyed white by the taste that came out of Almeja, giving it a truly delicious atmosphere.

In a frying pan with almeha, add the separately boiled pato (pasta). This pat is a thin one that I had split for prototyping, apart from the thick pat I usually use in my regular patranch.

It is strictly forbidden to fry too much almeha or thin pato. After seasoning with salt pepper and olive (olive) oil, the frying pan was rinsed and the whole dish gently soaked, and was immediately served on a plate.

Finally, you can quickly sprinkle the finely chopped pellet heel (parsley) as a color.

"Thank you for waiting. This is Bongole Bianco, a white pato dish made with Almeja. The soup is the same salted meat and vegetable tomato soup you are serving for lunch. Enjoy."

While explaining the dishes, Takumi arranges a plate of bribes in front of the three of them. Aldi and Cardi, who were totally inspired by the good smell of standing in the kitchen, offered their pre-meal prayers at an earlier tempo than usual.

"So long, grace of the day" "Thank you" "

Usually Theo completes his pre-meal prayers with silence, but only today did he raise his voice to the singing of the two of us. Realizing all the time that his voice was out, Theo deceives himself with a bitter laugh as he seems a little embarrassed.

No matter how Teo looked like that, both Aldi and Cardi quickly extended their forks to Pato in Almeja.

"Mm-hmm. ♪ Other than that, refreshing, very tasty ♪"

A song of praise quickly popped out of Aldi's mouth with Pato on his cheek.

The thin pato has plenty of Almeja flavors, and you can fully enjoy the deliciousness of the sea delicacies.

Upho (garlic) and red pimiento (tortoise), which were put together when steamed in white wine, also provided a pleasant stimulus to the tongue.

The addition and subtraction of salt and pepper seemed just right, and the chimney cleaning seemed to bring energy back to the tired body.

Aldi was captivated by that flavor, which was refreshing but fully enriched by the deliciousness of Almeja. The look on her cheeks one after the other as she wraps her pato around the fork is really creepy.

Cardy on the other hand seemed to like the tomato soup served with Pato. Even from Caldy's mouth with a cute face like a boy, the song still spills.

"This soup is so delicious, it's so puffy."

The tomato soup contained vegetables such as seboria (onion), sanaoria (carrot) and repolo (cabbage) along with the stir-fried salted meat. It's quite a piece of equipment, Kusan's soup.

That soup, which would have been carefully simmered over time, was packed with plenty of meat and vegetable flavors. The sourness of the tomatoes is also comfortable for tired bodies. The tingling spiciness felt on the tip of the tongue is the taste of pimiento and henchy (ginger). Although I took a bath first, it was warming my body up with pokapoka, which got cold from my core due to work on the roof.

Cardi, too, made her big eyes squirm and proceeded to eat the soup with a happy grin.

Theo, who was surrounding lunch with me, also raises a voice of praise.

"Mm-hmm, both pato and soup are delicious. Even if you can just eat this bribe, it's good value. But when you're eating this Almeja pato, you really want to swallow Almeja soup."

Two people, Aldi and Cardi, reacted perfectly to Theo's words. Almeja soup, a dish known as Winter Poetry enjoyed in this world. The throats of the two men who were told the name of the menu roar gobbly.

They looked at each other and, yeah, they started to improvise when they nodded one.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. ♪ Speaking of Almeja, it's soup ♪

"Yum yum yum, it's a winter soup ~ ~"

"Have a cold night." "Pompous." "Warm me up." "

"Blushing ~/Red ~ Soup ~... Huh?

Where the two lyrics were eaten wrong, the song was suddenly stopped. The two of them face each other with surprised faces. Unexpectedly, the lyrics have been eaten wrong, and it's an incredible look.

"" Duh, what do you mean?

Two loud voices echoed inside the kitchen.
