The Coffee Shop in a Different World Station

28 Christmas Day and First Cake Making (3/3 pt.)

The next day, Posada's party at my school had a bunch of kids going to school. Everyone is shining their eyes at a treat full of them lined up on their desks.

There was only one large space open at the desk.

Isabelle speaks out loud to the children who are talking to each other as friends are excited to see what is being carried.

"Yes, everyone. I got a big treat called cake for you guys today - eh. Now, please open the aisle so we can get it to you quickly."

Using Isabel's words as a signal, the children gently open the aisle leading to the entrance to the classroom. When the door was opened with Isabelle's hand, there was a look of Luna wearing a large silver plate.

Isabelle gently attaches her hands to a plate that supports her with her hands spread out all over her

The two slowly and carefully carried the plate in so as not to fall.

The plate is covered with a large round lid to cover the whole dish and you cannot see what a "cake” looks like.

- Hey, hey, what do you think a cake is? - Is it not like Fran? - It must be sweet because you said it was a treat! - Oh, well, then I'm the biggest! - Oh, Shiru! We all have to split up properly!

The kids were talking to each other as they looked up at the big plate.

When transported to the central space reserved for the desk, a voice was heard from Isabelle, who turned again to the children.

All right, everybody gather around here.

With Isabel's words on the signal, the children rush to their feet. The kids, who broadened their imagination greatly, look at the big plate that was excitedly just transported earlier.

"Well, Mr. Luna, I'll show you."

Luna nodded one before carefully lifting the lid.

At that moment, the bragging of the children turned into a comeback.

What was on the plate was a thick-rolled roll cake.

The surface of the cake is painted with plenty of brown cream, and a pattern is placed on its surface to wave like a tree's skin.

What you can see from that cross section, cut diagonally, is a sponge fabric stained darker than the cream that is whirling. Between the dough is sandwiched with the same brown cream as the one applied on the surface, with a beautiful dark contrast.

By the way, some of the pinched cream looked like nuts peeking into my face.

- Awesome! - You look delicious full of cream! - Plus, it looks like a tree. Hey, at this length, it's firewood? - What, are cakes firewood? I can't eat that hard! - It's silly, it's just like firewood, not firewood itself, right? If you don't want it, I'll take it, okay? - Oh, my God! That's sloppy! - Hey, what's this taste like? - You've made up your mind, it tastes sweet! - He said he knew that! But sweetly, there's a lot of it, isn't there? - He said you'd know if you ate that! - You're really useless...

The first treat I see in the first name I hear, the kids are intrigued. Peek into the cake as we push each other, bumping our thoughts into each other.

It was Isabelle, who was kind enough to keep an eye on how it was going, but as it was, she saw that the children's stories were endless and slapped her hands on bread.

It's the usual seating signal. The children sit reflexively side by side to the floor.

Isabelle spoke to the children after coughing one up.

"This cake is specially prepared for you by the 'swordfish' at the coffee shop located at the railway station. Do you know what" swordfish "is?

"Yes, I know -! It's Luna's house. Hey!

"Yeah, that's right. And actually, this cake, how dare Luna herself make it while teaching your house. Come on, Mr. Luna, this way."

"Eh! Luna made this. Eh! Really? Awesome!

The girl's tall voice echoed in the classroom. Even from the boys, wow, cool! and cheers.

Bathing the children's gaze all together, Luna shyly modded but headed forward.

"So can you describe this cake?

Encouraged by Isabelle, Luna retrieves a note she prepared during last night from her pocket.

And when I held the note firmly with both hands, I began to read the story of the cake taught by Takumi.

"Uh, today's cake was made with Takumi, who is now the master of the 'swordfish' I take care of. His name is Bush de Noel. It's a cake that can be eaten well this time of year in Takumi's hometown, and it's a newborn god in the form of firewood - based on the story that he burned firewood all night in the fireplace to warm and protect the saints."

"Oh my God, it's with the story of Nascimento!

A voice rose from the little boy.

Nacimiento, a lease imitating the “Tree of Life”, adorns the dolls of the Virgin Mary and Saints together. The story is based on the same "birth of a saint" from which this cake originated.

Cheering again from the children's mouths.

After opening for a moment and waiting for the cheer to settle down, Luna continued the conversation.

"The brown color of this cake is the color of the cocoa. I usually mix cocoa that I dissolve and drink in warmed milk with today's cake dough and cream. It's just a little bitter, but I think it tastes sweet and delicious, so please enjoy it, everyone."

"" "Yes!

A vigorous response from the children was attentive to the call from Luna.

Luna, with a paragraph, takes a breath, Phew. Then he closed the note he had in his hand with Pathan, looked at his fellow classmates and started talking again. Unlike earlier tensions, that expression had turned into something serious.

"Uh... I told you I made this cake with you earlier, but the truth is, I almost just worked it exactly as Takumi said, not as much as I made it. But this is the first time I've made a cake, and I thought it would be such a big deal to make good food and sweets. So when I'm going to get rice and sweets, I want to thank the people who made them more than ever."

The children were drawn to Luna's words.

After a while, I begin to hear the sound of pats, pats, pats slapping my hands slowly. Eventually it went to the applause of 10,000 lightning.

Isabel weeps unexpectedly at Luna's words, which she would have spinned from within herself. And when I wiped the tears in my eyes, I gently took Luna's hand and spoke.

"You've learned something really good. Please continue to take care of that thought."

Luna snorts loudly at Isabelle's words. Another big round of applause came from the kids watching the thing.

"Well, let's just get it. In addition to the cake, the teachers prepare various dishes by hand. Don't push each other, don't fight, let's all get along."

Yes, and the loudest voice echoed into the classroom today.

The children, who prayed before the meal at Isabel's lead, rush to a treat at a glance and serve the dish thoughtfully to the vessel at hand.

It's a treat that's usually hard to eat. Roasted whole chicken, colorful vegetables with hokahoka and hot air, and paella (paella) with shellfish and shrimp also look delicious. Plenty of cheese and cornbread are also available. The soup is a different piece of equipment.

And the big Bush de Noel was cut and handed out by Isabel to go to all the children. Of course it's the number one popularity today. The children cheek up a sweet cake of cocoa colour and speak praise.

- Ugh! This is chocolate drinks and flavors! - That's what Luna was talking about. You weren't listening-? - Hey, I was listening, but it's better than I expected! - Really, it's delicious! Such a fluffy treat, me, if you've never had one before - this fluffy, not bread, huh? If the bread you always eat was this, you'd be so happy every day...... - Hmm? There's something in there! Is this... seed? - No, this must be nuts. It's dusty, fragrant, and delicious - and the cream is very tasty. I wonder how you make this - why don't you ask Luna and she'll know? - That's right. Hey! Ask me. Hey, Luna!

There were tears in Luna's eyes that were called upon.

Not long ago, I never thought I'd be able to welcome such a happy posada.

But I met Takumi, and with the help of the station managers, I was able to attend this school.

I really enjoy my days with everyone. It was so hard to prepare today's cake, but this is how I was able to please everyone.

I owe it also to those around me who are living a happy life like this, I really have to be thankful - Luna had repeated her thanks in her heart.

"Hey, Luna? What's the matter with you? Are you okay?"

Soon the girl who called Luna was approaching, worried that she didn't get a response. He calls out to Luna in tears, worried.

Luna wiped the Shizukuishi floating in her eyes with the back of her hand and smiled.

"Yeah, it's nothing!

It was Luna who returned to her usual bright expression and blended into the circle of children.
