The Coffee Shop in a Different World Station

31 White Wrapped Station Building and Warm Behavior (2/3 pt)

"Yeah, what can I help you with?

After washing her hands, Luna asks Takumi what she will do after this.

Takumi, smiling at Luna, slightly lifted the lid of a large pot that had recently been placed on a newly equipped "low heat only” rocket stove.

"I'm going to ask Luna to help me crush the beans in this pot"

Left invited by Takumi, Luna peeks into the pan where Takumi removed the lid.

In it, the cedary beans, the size of the index finger earlier - the hoodia - were simmered with cottonseeds.

Hudia is a red bean that is commonly eaten around the area.

It is one of the most popular beans around here and one of the ingredients that is familiar to Luna.

In addition to the dried beans that are put back in water and used, these days Hudia bottles that have been made into boiled water that have been developed for easy use are also becoming available at about value.

Hudia is often eaten in the form of scattered over salads or simmered with other ingredients, all of which are basic to remain “grain”.

Crushing Hudia and using it for cooking was something Luna had never heard before, at least.

Luna clenches her neck in wonder and throws a question at Takumi.

"This is Fudia, isn't it? I'm gonna crush it. Are you sure?

"Yeah, I'm gonna crush it in today's dish. Would you like a bite?

Takumi smiled and returned the words, pinching the beans a little with vegetable chopsticks and placing them on a small plate, offering them to Luna.

The hot air rises small from the plump cooked hoodia.

Luna tossed Hudia into her mouth as she pinched him properly, taking care not to burn her.

Then the unexpected taste pushes into my mouth.

Luna, surprised by the taste, opened her eyes painfully.

"What, sweet! Are you making this sweet?

"Yeah, different types of beans, but this is how I sometimes cook and use red beans in my hometown. It's more sweet than a meal… it's a dessert category."

"That's right. So you're making that dessert today, too?

Hmm, nodding and asking Luna, Takumi shakes her head vertically, too.

"Exactly. I thought I would prepare a warm sweetness with this bean for all the trains arriving after this. In addition, we plan to prepare some warm drinks."

"You're making something warm!

Roland, who was cooking Arrows, has interrupted the conversation between the two of us.

Takumi continued her words as she struck an association.

"This is all getting cold, and I don't think the train heating is working enough. I'm sure the customers are shaking their bodies in the cold, so it will be after they arrive, but you want them to warm up a little. Besides, it's rare, so I was wondering if it would be okay to serve a little more..."

"That's right, master, masculine!

Roland calling in a light tone.

Takumi then switched to the point with a little light on, um.

"Well, that's about it for the story, should we get to work? Roland would like to continue cooking arrows, wouldn't he? Luna, let's go ahead and crush the beans together here."

"No!" "Yes! I'll do my best!

Two people who go on and give their voices back well.

Takumi, who was able to relieve himself of the good things in it, side-by-side confirmed Roland's return to Arrose Cooking, while lining up next to Luna to make sweets (desserts).

Takumi, who prepared a new pan on the kitchen table, puts a monkey on top of it and opens the contents of the two-handed pan, which was on a low heat rocket stove.

Then, from the broth poured into the new pan, the bright white hot air rose up vigorously.

And when he finishes transferring all the contents of both hand pans, Takumi pulls up the monkey while putting on a cloth that exposes him from burns.

In its monkeys, the plump, cooked cedary fudia glowed.

"So you're going to crush Hudia while it's warm. I'm the one who uses it."

That's what Takumi tells Luna to give her two instruments.

One is a hella made of wood and the other is a round appliance with a fine net.

At first glance it also looks like a fine mesh sieve to use when waving aloose or myce flour. But it also seemed a lot more well made for it.

Takumi begins to explain how to use this tool.

"This net is what we're going to use for the task of“ backing up ”like a bean crush that we're going to have to do now. It's easy to do. Put this net on the bowl and do this..."

With that said, Takumi let Luna do the work she was going to do in front of her eyes.

Cover the bowl with a backing net and sprinkle a small amount of plump cooked hoodia over it.

And, careful not to let Hudia spill outside, she squashed it with a wooden slab.

The pressed hoodia then falls potpoutta through the net and into the bowl. Slightly crushing it with a wooden belt, eventually the bowl accumulated the same slightly dull cedar paste as Hudia.

"It's going to be so smooth! It's funny."

Takumi grins and cheers at Luna, who honestly speaks her thoughts.

And when I finished crushing the obvious Hudia, there was still a lot of peeled skin on the surface of the backing net.

"If you crush it somewhat, the Hudia skin will remain on the surface of the net, so sometimes it's only a matter of time. The crushed beans are fine just for what I transferred here. I'll keep grain for what I've split here, so please leave it. Okay, it's a little rough, but let's split it it up and do it."

"Yes! Thanks for your guidance!

Excited by the new experience, Luna quickly got to work.

Luna, who backed the net to the bowl as takumi taught her, puts a little fudia on the net and squashes it with a wooden slice.

The net-filtered hoodia became a smooth paste and accumulated into a bowl one by one.

Luna continues to work repeatedly, sometimes removing the skin that remains on the surface of the net. Next to it, Takumi was going through the same work with a serious look on her face.

Compared to Takumi, who hands-on with his accustomed hand, only about half as much is advanced at the same time.

Luna, who was in a hurry to keep up with the difference in pace, tried her best to turn the net upside down.

"Ah!"

Luna manages to contain Hudia with both hands, who is about to spill. The sweet juice that Hudia wrapped around made my hands stick.

Takumi, who was working on the side, tenderly stood up to Luna, who was in a hurry to flutter.

"Are you all right? You don't have to rush. You just have to take your time and move on at your own pace. If we do this together, it won't be long."

"Yes! Thank you. Thank you!

That's what Takumi told me, and Luna took a whopping breath.

Luna washes her hands and then goes back to work. As Takumi said, the mountain of Hudia grew smaller as quickly as I could think of if I worked on the two of them.

Then, having finished crushing the last Hudia, Luna shows Takumi what's in the bowl for confirmation.

"Are you sure this is okay?

The smooth paste of filtered hoodia was well served in the bowl Luna showed.

Takumi thumbs up and nods loudly at Luna.

"That's it. Well, I'll have the bowl here, so can you wash the nets and wood bells clean?

"Ha!"

Luna, praised for her good work, made her voice play.

Takumi, who has entrusted the washing work to Luna, will proceed to the next task.

Takumi, who put the paste of Hudia made for the two of us back in the pan, also matched the hudia that remained the grain they had taken apart.

Then, place the pan on top of the rocket stove for low heat and slowly stir in the wooden slab, pouring in a little bit of the sweet broth of the hoodie that you have set aside.

Slowly adjusting the addition and subtraction, the hot air rose from the smoothly stretched fudia juice.

The fuzz and bubbles gradually develop from the juice of Fudia, resulting in a sweet aroma.

Takumi fine-tuned the taste by adding a little broth and sugar while checking the concentration and taste many times, and finally just a pinch of salt.

(Ok, that's about the taste...)

Takumi, who confirms the finish, spreads a newspaper that has been kushaved on the kitchen table.

And when I unloaded the pan with Hdia juice from the fire, I placed it on the newspaper I had just spread out and wrapped it in multiple weights.

Furthermore, the exposed cloth around it can also be wrapped around glue and tied firmly in a string at the end.

That's when Roland called out after just finishing cooking dinner.

"That? Why would you do that? Can't you just leave it on fire?

"Yeah, you want to avoid putting it down for too long because it really boils down when you leave it on fire. Nevertheless, just keep it off the fire and it will cool in no time, so leave it for a while while while you keep it warm like this. You can also use this method when you want to slowly stain the flavor when making a simmer."

"Heh! You're gonna learn!

Roland shouts out loud about the look of the inspirational divider.

There, Luna came back after the wash.

"I'm done washing!

"Yes, thank you. So, because of this, why don't you both, like, taste it once?

"Wow!" "I've been waiting for that word!

Smiling at the two cheerful replies, Takumi offered the hoodia juice that had been split into small plates first.

A thickened cedar liquid is poured into the small plate. The two put it in their mouths, trying to sip it.

It was Roland who raised his surprise first.

"Mm-hmm? That sounds sweeter than I thought. I'm a little surprised!

Roland gives that strange taste a troubling look because he never eats beans sweetened.

Luna, on the other hand, seemed to be able to honestly accept it because she was tasting sweet beans that remained grains earlier.

"It doesn't taste the same at all as it stays grained. Hey. Smooth, sweet, somewhat relieved gentle flavor."

He gives a satisfied look while Luna twinkles like that.

But I just had another bite to taste and wrinkled between my brows like I noticed something.

Roland speaks out for that change in expression.

"Hmm? Luna, what's going on?

"Hmm, this is just the taste of beans and sugar if it stays this way, right? Of course, it's rustic, sweet and delicious, but the taste is a little strong... I guess I get tired of eating it all..."

Wrinkles between eyebrows, Luna showing a difficult face. That allegation also resonated with Roland

"Hmm, if you do say so, you feel that way, too. You feel that it's just sweet. Hmm, I wonder if I would feel otherwise if I ate with coffee..."

The two face each other and roar hmm.

And after much thought, I sent my gaze to Takumi with a worrying look.

The allegations were the best. If this is all it is, it is certainly just a "sweet juice with a hoodia flavour”.

In order to be a "finished product," I have another thing to add to this.

Takumi is delighted by the two of us who have properly spotted the matter just after a bite.

Yeah, I hit the correlation slowly, and then I started explaining it to the two of us.

"Yeah, we're certainly right about that as it is. Another thing I have to add to this dessert. It's a corner, so why don't the three of you get ready? Good luck with another one, Luna."

"Yes!

Luna's energetic voice echoes in the kitchen.

I wonder how it will be finished from here...... it was Luna I can't wait to finish.
