The Coffee Shop in a Different World Station

Coffee Break - Theo Holidays

"Wow. Hmmm......"

A room in a townhouse (joint residence) in Harpertown.

There was zero sunshine from the curtains illuminating the young man in bed.

The young man's name is Theo. He is a station worker at Harpertown Station, which is now the gateway to the city.

As Theo was coming and going between dreams and depression, the sound of Karan Karan coming from outside the window and making him feel slightly tall and majestic. It's a church bell that tells the morning.

"Yabe!? I'll be late again!?

To the sound of that bell, Theo rises reflexively.

By the time the bell rings, we'll have to make up our minds and leave the house.

Thinking of his boss (Takumi) 's face, Theo rushes to start disciplining himself.

Then I remembered today's 'appointment' to see if my consciousness was finally clear.

"Uh, speaking of which, I was off today..."

Now that I know I don't need to panic, Theo hips down on the bed somehow.

Sometimes “Acting Station Manager” has been traveling for a while, and it's been a long time since I've had a consolidated holiday.

He had stopped the bell of the “alarm clock” - which he had asked the mechanic's guild to make - which he had lent him not to be late, also because he was going to take his holiday to sleep.

"Oh, something woke me up..."

Twist your neck tight, distract your arms and stretch your back.

I even thought about going to bed twice, but apparently I was well asleep, which is kind of oddly neat.

When I did that, what am I going to do..., I started thinking that way or no, my partner in my stomach raised his voice.

"... you're a mess for now"

When Theo got out of bed, he took off his feather-woven pyjamas.

―――――

"Oh, I've been busy all morning."

Hungry Theo arrived at Mercado (Market) in the corner of Central Street.

Famous as the kitchen of Harpertown, this Mercado had a lively voice flying across it.

Theo goes down the aisle aiming for "what you're looking for” as shops connect vegetables, fruits, fish on meat, spices on salt and pepper, and everything he needs to sell his life to soap, pots, monkeys and knives.

And when I arrived in front of one of the dewstores, a little off the center of Mercado, I spoke to a small woman who was busy working.

"Uh-oh, Clara, it's been a while."

"Oh, it's been a while! Your seat is empty, please come this way. I'm glad you're always ordering.

"Right. And can I have some Naranha (orange) juice with me today?

"Yes! Please wait."

Clara smiles uncontrollably as she moves her tiny, round white ears, a testament to Ferret's subhuman.

As he loosened his cheeks to that loving figure, Theo laid down to the seat he was guided to.

Mercado is full of people, full of vibrancy and hustle.

Just being here is going to cheer you up.

Looking around blurry with that in mind, Clara carried a plate.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. Eh. It's the usual set of tacos and naranha juice."

"Thanks. Looks delicious again today."

Though I tried to subtly wink and appeal, Clara didn't seem to notice at all

Theo puts his head on polypoli with a bitter laugh.

“The usual tacos” is a classic holiday breakfast.

On top of the yellow tortilla dough, the greens of Retuga (lettuce), white of Seboria (onion) and red of the chopped tomatoes dance.

And there's plenty of grilled beef in the center.

As he folded this chunky tacos with pattan, Theo quickly cheeked all over his mouth.

"Mmm! It's not good today!

Familiar from a small place, Theo thumps his tongue at the rustic and nostalgic flavors.

Takumi's "swordfish" dish is new and delicious, of course, but this simple taste of tacos also makes Theo happy.

Richly seasoned beef with salt and pepper is excellent to eat.

Every bite overflows with gravy.

Retuga and Sebolia toothfeel is also shaky and fun.

And the tingly and spicy salsa sauce also scratched his appetite irresistibly.

Teo eats his first tacos and goes on with another bite.

Then I realized there was a fuss.

"Hey, Clara. I feel so soft about the meat of the day...?

"Oh, I noticed!? Actually, I tried to do what I was taught in the meantime."

"Um, me, did I say something?

Clara puffs her cheeks in the words.

"What, did you forget -? Look, at night, when I met you at the bar by chance..."

"Ah! That's it, that's when we talked. Arr, I tried! Heh."

Theo finally remembered what he was talking about, and he wore another sip of tacos to hide the lights.

That was about three weeks ago. Theo, who was rolling out to Central Street at night before the holidays, was stumbling into Clara, who was visiting the store with friends in a single bar.

I just called out that it was alley to swallow alone, Theo, and had a great time.

At that time, when the topic was about cooking, he was proud to reveal his "How to Soften the Meat".

"I also tried Sebolia (onion) and Champignon (mushroom), but it also tasted a little sweet to soak in piña (pineapple) when used for this taco, and it seemed the best. Thanks to you, it's a big reputation now."

"Heh, that's good. Was I a little helpful?

"Sure!

Clara smiles just eyelids.

To its so cuteness, Theo carries a glass with Naranha juice to his mouth as he dyes his cheeks.

I wonder if this has brought you closer to a good... As she immersed herself in a good atmosphere, Clara went on to say the words again.

"" Mr. Takumi ”is a really amazing cook."

"... Huh? Takumi......?

The name of my boss who jumped out somehow.

Earlier floating moods are pulled back into reality at once in the words.

"Look, didn't Mr. Theo say - My boss says he's an amazing guy who can work and cook. My boss taught me how to soften meat."

"Well, speaking of which, you did..."

I was going to dress up and show off my knowledge, but apparently I had some booze momentum and even talked about the extra.

Theo drips a cold sweat, keeping his smile strained.

Clara, on the other hand, seems to have remembered one thing in the course of her conversation.

"Yeah, well, your boss also does the 'swordfish' master, doesn't he? During this time, I was surprised it turned out to be a big article in the newspaper!

"Ah. That surprised me, too. Thanks to you, there are a lot of customers in the" swordfish ". Though I'm a little calm, I'm still in the big queue."

"I knew it - Well, I wonder if we can go to the 'swordfish' for the time being..."

"Huh? You want to go to 'Swallow'?

"Of course! 'Cause it's the number one featured store among the girls right now, and even if it wasn't, I was so interested in the story in the meantime."

Clara stares with her big, creepy eyes as she assembles her hands forward.

Theo squeezed all his courage here in his unexpected luck coming around.

"Then we'll go together! Lunch peaks are just full, but we'll be a lot calmer after that. What's your schedule after this today?

"Eh, your work will be done by lunch......, yeah, I'll be fine today. Yikes!

"Yay! Then let's stick together! Where shall we meet?

"Um, then, at about 11: 00, can I meet you at the Mercado entrance?

"Sure. So after filling your belly lightly somewhere, it feels like a little late for lunch."

"Ha! Actually, I really wanted to go! Thank you. Thank you!

Clara lowers her head pepperly as she moves her round white ears.

He was Theo, who fisted inside his heart, getting an opportunity to approach him in unexpected ways.

It should be noted that Theo's appearance surrounded by girls (...) is witnessed in the "swordfish" only a few hours later.
