Chapter 924: Xiao Xue Did Nothing Wrong
Su Yu, with a dark expression, stepped forward without a word, picked up Xiao Xue directly, gave Lianwu a chilly glance, and then turned and walked away.
If he wasn’t already nearly crippled, he would have beaten him up for sure.
Xiao Xue was thus grasped by the collar and taken back to the room by Su Yu.
Lan Ling, who had just seen Youyou come back, was also stunned by this scene and quickly ran over. Han Jing was also surprised; Su Yu had always been so gentle with Xiao Xue. This was the first time he had been so rough... He actually hauled her over, not holding back at all.
Being dangled in mid-air by Su Yu, Xiao Xue felt very uncomfortable and started to struggle upon seeing her Mother, waving her little arms and shouting: "Mother, please save me!"

Xiao Xue pouted, her eyes brimming with tears, as she looked at Han Jing: "Mother, I really didn’t do anything wrong, Xiao Xue didn’t do anything wrong..."
The little girl’s aggrieved voice melted the hearts of everyone in the room.
Since everybody was in the same courtyard, they weren’t far away. Ning Shiqi also saw Su Yu hauling Xiao Xue out of Lianwu’s room and hurried over, worried that it was because of the medicine. When he got to the door, he heard Xiao Xue’s aggrieved voice.
He quickly spoke up to defend Xiao Xue: "What she said is true. I made the medicine pills for her; she really did nothing wrong."
Lianwu snapped back to reality from the previous scene and knew that this was a big issue. He never imagined that the little girl would feed him medicine in such a way and that Su Yu would happen to see it... Wasn’t this just adding fuel to the fire?
So fearing that Su Yu truly held a grudge against Xiao Xue, he couldn’t care about the pain anymore, hurriedly climbed out of bed and rushed over. Upon hearing Ning Shiqi speaking up for Xiao Xue, he finally understood what was going on.
When he swallowed that medicine, he felt something was wrong, but at that time his mind was blank, and he didn’t think of anything. Now he knew. It was the little girl worried for him, who didn’t want him to find out, secretly went to Ning Shiqi, used her own blood as a guide to make the medicine pills, and then went back to feed him.
When she came over, her face full of conflict, she was probably thinking about how to make him take the medicine without him finding out.
