"No problem."
"We took in fifteen hundred this time, so here’s one-fifty for you."
Boss Lü directly counted out fifteen ten-yuan bills and handed them to An Dongyang’s friend.
An Dongyang’s friend took the money, blew on the stack of bills, and said with a nonchalant air, "Brother Lü, you’re a generous man. If I have any other friends, I’ll be sure to bring them over."
Boss Lü smiled and nodded.
This was also the reason his business was doing so well.
Friends referred friends, and they all got a cut from him.
As for An Dongyang’s situation, his friend had naturally been the one to fill him in.

Back at the school, An Dongyang was absent for several more consecutive days. The principal directly told him not to bother coming back anymore.
The male teachers were making quick work of the desks and chairs. In the classrooms, each teacher was handling two classes, while the rest were busy with the furniture.
Everything was proceeding in an orderly fashion.
An Dongyang’s absence at this point had little impact.
However, the principal was still grateful for Gu Jiaojiao’s earlier help, so he sought her out and gave her the new teacher recruitment slot.
The school could still hire one more teacher, and he wanted Gu Jiaojiao to recommend a suitable candidate.

Gu Jiaojiao thought for a moment and agreed.

Not only had she been saddled with all this extra homework for no good reason, but she also had more students. She was much busier than before.
’Why should I have to?’
She was getting paid one salary but was now expected to do twice the work. It would be a miracle if she felt happy about it.
Seeing Gu Jiaojiao work so quickly and efficiently only made her feel more resentful.
"Teacher Gu, since you finished so quickly, why don’t you help those of us who are a bit slower?"
As Hu Xiuqiao said this, the other two female teachers in the office looked up at the same time. One of them even spoke up in Gu Jiaojiao’s defense.
"Teacher Hu, Teacher Gu has already taken on homework from another class. She grades quickly, but her workload is much larger than ours. How can you ask her to take on your tasks just because she’s fast?"
"My tasks?" Hu Xiuqiao exploded.
"What do you mean ’my tasks’? I was originally only responsible for the students in my own class. Now, not only do I have to grade for an extra class, but you’re calling it ’my task’? This is not my task."
The two female teachers in the office frowned.
"How can you say that? Everything we’re doing is for the students’ sake. Those desks were falling apart. The work the male teachers are doing is far more exhausting than grading homework."
"Teacher Hu, these are special circumstances. Just bear with it for a few more days. It’ll be fine once the desks are finished."
Hu Xiuqiao snorted coldly. "Why should I have to sacrifice my time? Besides, Teacher Gu grades homework so fast, what’s wrong with her helping out?"
Although she was unhappy about the extra work, she wouldn’t have said anything if everyone was in the same boat. But now, Gu Jiaojiao was idle while she was still swamped with homework, which naturally made her feel resentful.
