Chapter 2219: The Creator Vs His Perfect Creation I
Nina looked at the dead Primordial Kraken for a long while before sitting down. Her massive body plumped down. Her body shook the entirety of the newly formed island and cracked its surface. She stared at the moving waves, and then at Arad, who was already there beside her.
"You can use magic of that scale?" Of course, almost everyone can use basic spells, and even Nina had shown before that she could do just that. But what she had cast now was so outrageous that Arad would’ve thought it was Merlin’s work.
She shifted to her humanoid form, and so did Arad. "As a Tarrasque, I’m attuned to earth magic. It is how Earth Glide works after all." She looked at him. "So, knowing that, Merlin shortened the chants of a few spells and made me memorize them."
Arad smiled as he approached her, and her eyes suddenly widened. "I can’t... sense anyone." She had just noticed, and the large Kraken behind her vanished. Her eyes quickly turned toward Arad, who was standing right there in front of her, his eyes glowing dark purple as the air itself seemed to twist around his great body.
She could feel sweat forming on her back, and she also smiled. "You monster! When?!"
"Guess." Arad replied, and she giggled. "From the beginning? Where are we now? Inside your inner world?"
As the fight between Nina and the Kraken grew too intense for the Mortal world to sustain, and since Rilyeh had basically begged him to stop them before they destroy the ocean’s ecosystem, Arad decided to teleport the two into a deserted section of the ocean inside his inner world.
Nina looked up, and there was only one sun in the sky, not two, meaning this wasn’t the mortal world where Amaterasu and Eris danced around each other in the blue sky.
She approached Arad further until her breasts touched his torso, and the sheer pressure between the two was enough to split the island beneath their feet in two. "I see... Neither that fish nor this squid is worthy food for you. You want to eat me."
Arad chuckled with a horrifying grin. "Oh, I don’t want food." She didn’t need him to say it to understand. She was powerful, far too strong, and the only one besides the likes of Kali who could fight him physically on near equal terms. This relationship had been growing between them ever since they first met each other, and finally, it was going to be tested.
"Then... if you aren’t going to eat me. Can I eat you?" She meant that literally. To her, he was the only thing that could satisfy her endless hunger, and she wasn’t going to sit and let food be.
The fight immediately started as Nina made the first move, taking a step back and throwing a kick toward Arad’s torso as hard as she could. The air around her foot ignited, compressed, and burst into a violent shockwave the moment the kick landed, easily shattering the entire island into many pieces.
But... even if her kick landed, it wasn’t all that effective. Arad had caught her foot with one hand and already had his other hand touching the spot between her legs.
"You’re stronger and more durable than me, but are you faster? Can you react faster than me?" As Arad spoke, Nina smiled. "Brat! I’ve been an adventurer fighting for more than you’ve been alive."
Her skin turned darker, her eyes burned red, and all of the veins in her body bulged as her skin flushed with blood. With a single roar, flames gushed out of her mouth as she twisted her leg out of Arad’s grasp and socked him right in the chin with a round kick.
His entire body was sent flying at several times the speed of sound, but Nina still managed to catch up to him with a single leap, and her hand flew right toward his neck, grabbing him by the throat.
That entire interaction happened in a fraction of a second, and the island beneath them didn’t even have time to explode into pieces from the harrowing power and weight the two of them were unleashing.
"GRAAAAAAA!" With a roar, she smacked him on the ocean’s surface hard enough that the water felt as solid as bedrock, and if Arad were a regular human, he would’ve been evaporated just from that impact alone.
Nina’s biggest hunt, is Arad himself.
A spark of light flashed from the impact, and in the next fraction of a second, a beam of pure light sparked beneath Nina’s hand and exploded forward in a devastating breath. This was his energy breath, and she took it head-on.
As the blinding light could be seen from the other side of the globe, a massive mushroom cloud rose to the sky as the ocean water got ionized and burned in the blink of an eye.
Arad landed on the raging water surface a second later, and the area around him froze solid. He looked at the ashes falling upon the white ice, and then, one of those minuscule ashes burst with life.
Blood spawned out of nothing, and that blood turned into bones, organs, flesh, and finally into a humanoid form. He had evaporated her down to the atoms, but since she was immune to Death, she would keep coming back and back.
"One point to me, zero to you." He stood there as the furious Nina roared at him with pure madness and fury burning in her red eyes. Getting torn like that must’ve hurt a lot, so he had to check on her, as listening to her thoughts while she was consumed by rage was nearly impossible.
He approached, and when he close, he pointed down. "On your knees."
Nina’s eyes immediately cleared of rage, and her dark red skin turned back to normal. "Really? Want me to suck you right now?" Arad immediately laughed, "No, sorry. I just wanted to see if you’re still sane. I can’t hear your thoughts while you’re raging, so even if I knew you should be fine, I just had to make sure."
She approached him and smiled. "That hurt a lot, but I’m fine. But since it was so quick, it isn’t the worst I’ve seen." She touched him down there and smiled. "Want to keep fighting, or should we play a bit since you’ve got me once?"
"Let’s keep fighting for now. In the end, we’ll count how many points each of us gets." As Arad finished talking, Nina’s hand clenched tight, tearing his flesh and jewels apart in a single move.
He immediately jumped back, healed his wounds, and growled. "Ow! I needed those!" But before he could even finish talking, Nina grabbed him by the face and smacked him on the ice. This time, instead of standing there and eating his breath head-on, she twisted her body, dodged the blinding beam, and stomped on his skull with all of her weight and might.
Arad’s energy breath exploded in the sky as his body twitched, headless, and then stopped moving. But knowing that won’t kill him, Nina lifted her foot, toes fully spread, and stomped at his chest, crushing his heart before doing the same with his entire spine.
When she did that, she looked at his corpse for a second, feeling her stomach rumble. But when she was about to lean down and take a bite, it disappeared into black mist and a new Arad spawned behind her.
She looked at Arad with a pout... "You meanie... I was about to eat that."
