The dragon's harem

Upon the endless ice, Nina jumped forward at blinding speed, rushing toward Arad like a meteor, and he just smiled, lifting both of his hands to block her. But it wasn’t enough, as she crashed onto him at full speed. A large shockwave propagated across the ice and was followed by a massive explosion.

When the shattered ice cleared, Arad was missing an arm, and Nina was several meters away from him, munching on it. He looked at her with a smile, and with a loud thud, his arm grew back up in the blink of an eye.

He started slowly walking toward her, and with each step, his entire body pulsed as his muscles tensed and his bones grew denser. At one point, even the air around him seemed to twist and contort as Arad loaded his body with as much of his draconic power as he could.

Nina stopped eating and stood, looking directly at him with an empty face. She wasn’t thinking about anything in particular, but could at least see that he was a bigger piece of meat than the arm she was eating.

He was challenging her, but to her, he was nothing but food. So she growled, and her voice sounded like a growling lion. Deep, feral, far too loud, and eerily bestial. As she lifted her foot and took a step, her toes left a crush mark on the ice as the entire place shook from her immense weight.

She didn’t walk straight, but a bit hunched forward with her arms dangling down, relaxed, and her face looking right at Arad. Her eyes were calm, her lips open, and droll dripped from them with each breath she took.

Eventually, the two reached each other. Peace only lasted for a second before violence broke again, and this time it was Nina attacking first. Her relaxed arms snapped like the jaws of a trap, throwing a devastating punch at full force directly at Arad’s torso, hitting right in the abs.

But unlike before, he wasn’t blown away and even tanked the punch without getting turned into a mist of blood. Where Nina’s punch landed, only a purple bruise remained on his flesh.

Since Arad didn’t fall with the first punch, Nina immediately launched a barrage of punches in the very next fraction of a second. The chest, the abs again, the hips, the arms, the thighs, and even his face. Nina didn’t leave a single spot unattacked, trying to turn him into a nice meal.

She kept punching him like that for a whole second, but then his arm moved, grabbed her by the hair, and pushed her down. She didn’t understand why her attacks didn’t work on him this time, but she didn’t have time to think about that.

Her knees hit the ground, feeling the immense pressure of Arad’s whole weight crushing her down. He was far heavier than she was or what her strength could lift, but one thing was off. He wasn’t trying to kill her.

Last time, she ate his arm, and now she grabbed his flesh and shoved it down her throat. They had already fought for a while, so now they started giving each other rewards after each clash.

"You know how I can coat my entire body with my own void? A layer of empty nothingness? To survive your attacks, I did just that, so the force of your attacks was getting released inside my stomach’s void." He looked at her, and she pulled his flesh out of her throat and growled. "Wait, your void is black. Why didn’t I see it?"

Arad immediately shoved his flesh right back down her throat and smiled. "I can choose to let light pass through it. I won’t use that again since you don’t have any way to counter it."

Nina mumbled something with his flesh still inside her throat as she removed her hands from his waist and tucked them behind her back. Arad then grabbed her head with both hands and started thrusting down her throat however he liked, and only a minute later, when he unloaded inside, did he let her go.

Nina backed away slowly, swallowed everything, and then growled at him. "You don’t have to go easy on me. I’ll find a way to break through that void." Hearing that, Arad smiled. "That’s something Merlin should say, not you."

He was right, and Nina giggled. "Well, true. My only plan was to hit you even harder than before." She shrugged, and then took a loose stance. "Next time, I’ll win."

Back in Merlin’s room, Luminous smiled with a faint giggle. "Well, good thing their fight is throwing up a lot of ice dust." To make this bizarre clash watchable for the barbarians, Luminous had made it so the dust from the attacks lingered a bit longer to cover any bits that shouldn’t be shown.

"They sure are having a lot of fun." Linda stared at the screen, both jealous and irritated. Even though she acted the coldest of them all, the maids gently massaging her body could feel her shivering slightly as she watched Arad’s fight, and of course, they couldn’t miss her wetting the bed every few moments.

Merlin watched the fight and sighed. "They won’t be fighting for much longer. While Arad isn’t going to tire any time soon, Nina requires a lot of energy to function and will need to eat for real soon." She then tilted her head as the maids started massaging her neck. "But do they even realize it?"

Betty, who was in the back, sat up, crossed her legs, and then looked at the screen intensely. "I don’t think so... Arad isn’t that aware of how much energy Nina consumes to fight, and he can’t read her mind because she doesn’t think much. Nina herself is the worst for managing herself. She will fight till she passes out."

Luminous sighed. "Well, that is true." She then turned to look toward Merlin. "What do you say? Should we stop them?"

"Not yet. Betty, how long would it take to reach them?" As Merlin asked, Betty smiled from one ear to the other, lifted her foot, and wiggled her toes. "Less than a second." She would need to get out of Merlin’s room, run downstairs, go through the gate leading to Arad’s inner world, and then make her trip to the middle of the ocean where the two were fighting. At her speed, it won’t be much.

Merlin smiled and pulled up a second screen where the barbarians were watching the fight, and most of them looked horrified. None of them had understood just how powerful Arad and Nina were before, and the fight had just opened their eyes to how absurd those two were.

But what surprised Merlin the most was that now that Arad’s power became clear, almost all of the barbarians’ women were dripping wet, even the married ones. They were even throwing doubtful glances toward their husbands, as if gauging and comparing. The men weren’t interested in Nina since to get her they would have to go through Arad, but the women could easily just join as a part of Arad’s harem without having to fight anything.

"We... probably should keep them away from Arad for a while." Merlin mumbled and everyone nodded. "Yeah, Arad would steal all of their women away." Betty laughed, and Linda sighed. "Arad won’t do that. He’ll reject them. But it’ll be a massive scandal."

Hearing that, Luminous shrugged. "Well, it is the same with the vampires." For a while now, Luminous, who had lived for a long time, had been watching over the city and its people, and she noticed that almost all of the vampire women in the city would open their legs to Arad without a moment’s hesitation, and that even the men were ready to throw their wives at him if it meant getting a drop of his blood.

Those who could resist the urge for power were counted on one hand.
