The Economics of Prophecy

9 Stories: The End of the Second Half Festival

A rectangular conference room was created in the student council room with a long desk. About forty members of the Chamber of Commerce and five officers of the Leonardo and Student Unions took their seats.

After everyone took their seats, Alfina and Hilda came in.

"I can't believe you raised the courtyard like that, where there was nothing. Mr. Alfina is a big deal."

"Thanks to Senior Hilda for entrusting me with a wonderful place"

Alfina nodded honestly. Hilda responds with a pulled smile. You were unwittingly sloppy.

"Oh, yeah. Looks like the student council's gonna be okay after I graduate."

A courtyard with nothing creates a new hobby: one-plate lunch and French toast. It was, like, the epidemic's birthplace. He was showing the busiest of the three compartments, such as late afternoon. The student chairman would have missed the temptation.

"Well, this year's Shaoxian Festival was a real feast. First..."

Leonardo will explain the whole number in unmistakable terms. Both the bubbly rules that kicked out the middle class and the matching pump that made the small room indulgent seem to be a feat of the student council.

"Vinder, who managed the food court and the dots, surprised me. All the more so given that it is copper. He's outnumbered many silver chambers and is in the position of thirtieth place."

Oops, unexpectedly, a legitimate assessment came. But I don't want you to lick it. A safekeeper can be praised, but be wary of everything that others say.

Is that just human disbelief? However, on this occasion, where Brother Calest is nibbling, it should be called human certainty.

"There are just a few things in your way..."

As Leonardo continued, Theodore lifted his hips at the edge of his vision.

"Please wait. I have a disagreement about this ranking"

"... what do you mean?

Leonardo's voice went low. Kalest, who was about to rise, took his seat. It would be the subtle ranking that is bothering you, that is, the Chamber of Commerce a little above Vinder. They must think I say this. "You beat all those handicaps, so rate them higher," he said.

You don't have to worry. I haven't fought with you guys since the beginning.

"Vinder, who was allowed to participate with the warmth of Chairman Hilda and Senior Leonardo, is exempt from the cost of his location, unlike other chambers of commerce. Also, Vinder is not selling anything at this festival. The revenues were brought about by mock stores utilizing food courts. To put it, it's like jumping forward of Seniors Dulgan. It's not something you can do, such as boast an unworthy ranking of minutes. Therefore, for this ranking, Vinder thinks exclusion is appropriate. As far as I'm concerned, it's enough for me to have a valuable experience this year."

"Well, that's a special victory."

I guess they got ahead of what they tried to say. Leonardo let his cheeks pull.

By contrast, the Silver Chamber of Commerce, plucked by me, lowers its appeasement breasts. The ”official” results of the Shaoxian Festival are communicated to all students after the summer break. It would have been a fear to keep getting my back finger stabbed for losing to copper for a long time to come. I don't have time for this either.

Besides, we have to keep neutral students on our side for what we're about to start.

"In that sense, a mock shop utilizing a courtyard is enough for a higher rating, haha"

I could see Zeldia distorting her face. Perhaps by complaining about the way we operate, you were willing to make all the members of the Holdings obsessed with the potato ceremony.

"Right. Despite how hard you worked, it's hard to say that you're on the same terms with other chambers of commerce. I'm sorry to hear that, but let's keep praising Vinder for his work here."

Hilda said. There's no way this woman would want Alfina's friend to be famous, even though she's copper.

"So, we expect next year about Vinder, so we exclude it from the official results"

Leonardo followed. After all, you're weak once you're muscled down. This man is.

"And the number one priority of this year's Shaoxian Festival is Kalest..."

"Please wait. I have my doubts about Calest's earnings."

Reworked Leonardo tries to finalise the results. Jean raised her hand. Leonardo's glasses were worn.

As the store next door to Kalest, Jean explains how the guests came in on the last day. Participants begin to bother with the figure of 20% less than the previous day. Though there are shields behind student associations, there are many chambers of commerce resenting Kalest for this one.

"Let's not defame them. Shame on the fact that you worshipped the dust of our Chamber of Commerce in such unfounded terms."

Theodore told me to bark. It also sounds like my planned muscle breaks down and I'm encouraging Leonardo to sweat.

"Oh, yeah. It is not something that can be spoken of without solid evidence, such as fraud in accounting. Can you show clear evidence rather than impressionism about the entry of customers?"

Wiping the sweat, Leonardo said. You must have realized there was no way that such evidence existed. Final sales figures. In other words, the only thing known about the amount of coins distributed at the Shaoxian Festival is the student associations that have recovered them from each Chamber of Commerce. Because a student union made up of aristocratic students is neutral.

Moreover, the person responsible is Leonardo, the second son of the Chancellor. I don't think there's any way I can doubt it. I can't. We civilian students will hesitate to be teachers, no matter how hectic they are. If from a normal direction.

"Would you excuse me for a moment, please?"

There was a rattling noise and the door opened. All eyes gather at the entrance. It was the old man who came in. He is dressed surreal: antenna in one hand and a bunch of paper in one hand.

"Dear Sage, how did you do this? Oh, yeah. I'd like to thank the student council for their special lecture."

Hilda said. The lecture that Fulsey was foolish about, he said, was Hilda's proposal. He wanted to emphasize that Fulsey, not the Virgin, was the College's merit in the Warcraft Crusade.

"No, I just wanted to give you a couple of experimental answers."

"Of experiments? What is an answer match??

Leonardo said to represent the students' doubts. Something unexpected happens from next to next. I know how spicy it is. I didn't like it either. That's how the habit of gathering information was created.

"As a matter of fact, we've made improvements to the measuring instruments to predict more accurate warcraft flooding. I ran that test drive during this festival."

"Well, that's great. Anyway, the sage measurement is the most important factor that prevented the national disaster. That would be an honorable story if it were to help. How can we work together?"

Hilda nodded.

"It's easy. I want to know the amount of coins each place gets."

"Is that the amount of coin? You're okay because we're tallying to determine your ranking. Leonardo, I need you to show me right away."

Fulsey said. Hilda was decent. Does this guy have nothing to do with this fraudulent accounting?

Is it literally divine? Besides, I'm unconscious about being divine. Then the connection between Hilda and Leonardo is shallower than I thought. And there is also a gap between Leonardo and Calest: nobility and civilians.

This is a more detachable structure than I thought.

"Become!"

"Oh, no."

It was Leonardo who turned bright blue. I'm about to drop my glasses.

The Kalest brothers and sisters also have the face of being incredible.

"Hmm, that's crazy. The amount of coins in this second classroom is clearly less than can be considered from the amount of magic. Others are just as expected."

Fulsey said. Classroom number two, of course, is Kenwell's tenant.

"Let me see how many coins you have as real."

"Oh, that's..."

"Oh, never mind. This is still a prototype. I know you could be wrong. That's why I'm actually here to make sure."

Fulsey said with a smile. Leonardo can't even afford to fix his glasses.

Three vault-like boxes were opened. It is the proceeds of Kenwell and two randomly selected chambers of commerce. First, the number of coins in the two unrelated chambers of commerce was counted, which coincided with the sage's prediction with a slight error. There is an exclamation in the conference room. And of course......

"Hmm, isn't the amount of coins in the second classroom also consistent with the measurements? There's a mistake in that number. Twenty percent makes a difference."

To the figure of 20%, the gaze of the conference room converges simultaneously in Kalest.

"What do you mean, Leonardo?"

Hilda stared at his men.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

"Dear Leonardo!" "Oh, no."

Two truncated Kalest shouts like screams. The price of the plura fruit is high.

"Now fix the mistake and rank new..."

Leonardo said. Calest falls to third place, instead of being plucked by Kenwell. But there's no way I can get it done to that extent.

"Dear Leonardo, Let me put it as a merchant's position, and forgive such injustice to that extent, it involves the credibility of Shaoxian Festival."

To Jean's words, many of the participants nodded. They are in a killing mood. There are non-food guild chambers of commerce, and the independent system is less influenced by Kalest. Most importantly, you can't be buying objections like that. Kalest has no allies at all.

Hilda is familiar. Leonardo swims his eyes left and right, desperately thinking about excuses. It is clear that it is the same crime, but no matter how much you question it, you cannot crush Leonardo with this sin. Except for evidence of receipt of money from Kalest, but I can't do it on boulders.

Or perhaps that's not what you said.

"Senior Leonardo is from the Duke's house. Aren't you unfamiliar with merchant practices and such? There's no point in missing a mistake in the book that the merchant gave you."

"Yes, you're right."

Jean said. Leonardo jumps.

"So what about this? In what form was this injustice committed? Scrutinizing Kalest's books on the spot. If you check with your peers, it can be a deterrent for the future."

"I see, the Chamber of Commerce is going to settle this with each other. That's a good idea."

Leonardo agrees without one or two. Now the story is between civilians. Whatever happens, you can get away with it.

"Wait. Even though it belongs to Shaoxian Festival, show the books to other chambers of commerce, etc. And to Kenwell."

Theodore slapped his fist on the desk. Serdia is shaking as she turns blue. Naturally. Being seen on the books is like being left naked in front of a crowd.

"Then why don't we ask Vinder, who is in a neutral position, to do his part"

Maria spoke.

"Oh, right. Vinder's fair attitude has just been shown. I think that's all right."

"Um, if Vinder has nothing to do with rank, can he make a fair judgment? Get your books out, Theodore."

Two of the student unions are no longer desperate to clean up. Theodore's shoulder, staring at me, fell apart.

"Meer, I need your help"

I'll let Meer sit next to me and turn the books. Pretend to check some numbers. Meer pretends to confront Fulsey's experimental results on the side. I don't think any more injustice is sleeping, etc. What I want is information.

"It is consistent with the results of the sage's experiments. We have decided that there is no more deception than that that came out earlier."

Kalest is bewildered by what I've done sooner than I thought. You wouldn't know it, but Meer can remember it like a picture if it's a bunch of numbers. The number appears as a pattern with height and color. Later, the Holdings data we have. With further Kenwell's cooperation, I can get some idea of their trends.

"I have to say that Calest's responsibility for deceiving even the student council is enormous. Disqualify Kalest and report to the College."

Hilda said in a pose like a goddess of truth decorated by the court. I can feel a little supervisory responsibility.

The name that reigned at the top of the list is erased with a batch. Fraudulent accounting caused by the inheritance at the Shaoxian Festival, where the prestigious Chamber of Commerce of the Wang Capital gathers. Reputation within the commercial guild as well as the college would be a bummer.

◇ ◇

"No way. Not just the lilkas. I didn't know you could help us."

"I'm really here. I can't believe you hid that trick. That's what you wanted the coin info for."

"Because the members of the Holdings got their hands on me. I just had to fight back as a janitor."

"That's not the idea of copper.... Well, I wonder what kind of thanks we should give"

I snorted at Jean's words. I have to deal with Kalest's grudge and put it down.

"There are two. The first is to spread the rumor that Kenwell will recommend Vinder for silver."

"I hope it's not a rumor."

"Right. I also agree with the independent system that I put together with you this time. Trit, Bell Mini, Roston, and we'll have all the nominees."

In traditional commercial guilds, promotion is not simply about size or performance, but requires the recommendation of a business member. That's not one or two, either.

"Because I'm not interested in silver signs"

"Copper is an associate member, so to speak. Kalest, the guild executive, is weak enough to do it. Silver, a full member, has a lot of procedures to do, assuming we can buy time to intervene."

"Right. Then it's the second one. If Kalest tries to use the vice chairman's authority to get his hands on Vinder, can you give him that information in advance?"

"Because of this lapse, we're going to have to get rid of Kalest. I don't mind that."

"Then please"

Well, how's Calest doing?

I can't forgive you if you have parents in a child's fight. Parents, not children.
