The Economics of Prophecy

Nine story reflections.

I woke up. A decent woman was watching my face. She slapped me in the cheek with a petite. I blinked.

"I woke up"

When I heard my voice, I finally recognized it was Claudia. Still, my head grabs. What happened?

"All right, now that the useful actor's awake, we're up for another win"

"... eh"

There was a noise of sayings, and many people arose around them. I finally realized that what I slept in was the center of the men in circles. I try to get up in a hurry, but I finally get myself up.

Claudia supports me from behind.

"This Warcraft Crusade is the triumph of our Third Knights"

"" "" Our victory. Whoo-hoo!!!!

I also managed to match it in a way Claudia would pull my arm on me. At the end of the victory, the knights smash each other's fists. Many knights came to me and stuck their fists out.

"I was just shaking in the back..."

I find it very tempting to be treated like one of them who fought for his life. I was even more protected by Claudia behind their backs.

"Everybody has to admit, yeah. It would be a feat.... thanks to Ricardo for not only saving Adele's family name, but also fighting against her brother's enemies"

"No, no, you're more of a benefactor of life. Lord Claudia."

At that last moment, what would have happened if Claudia hadn't popped me and approached the ramp with me. She has many abrasions on her hands and feet.

"Well, that's the assignment the princess gave me."

Claudia turned away.

Lord Claudia.

"What?"

"There's coal on your cheeks."

My head was dropped on the board.

I can't get my hips off. I walked out in front of the prince. Three troop leaders cleared the way all the way. I'm afraid of the eyes of the two deputies looking at this one.

Craig was preceded by three bodies wrapped in a regimental flag.

"There are more than three casualties of war. Twelve wounded."

In the voice of his deputy reporting to Craig, he realized that was the victim of the battle, and in an instant his blood caught on. The prince raised his sword against the three war dead.

It spinned around my head. If more pollen is collected, no, if the active ingredient can even be purified and extracted, there will be no casualties...

"What do you look like, a crusader?"

"Oh, no, I'm sorry. Are you a useful actor......?

"You're the one who made it so easy to discuss the dragon that gave the Second Knights more than 200 casualties. From pre-military training methods to dealing with the dragon's greatest weapon, the ability to fly and the brace. It all went according to their plan."

The prince told me.

"It's like you're surprised by the war dead. Did I just say that our battle is not yet with them?"

"No, you don't."

No, it's the face of an asshole who dragged the peace blur, unable to realize the very existence of a victim over this period.

I closed my eyes for the first time and breathed.

"Because it is the power of the Knights who stood in front of the Greedy Dragon."

And this prince. I wasn't talking about ornaments, being royal but trying my best to get to the front line. I know because I actually saw it. Charisma, no. You must be a hero. At least, he's the type of person I've never seen before, including in my previous life.

"Oh man. I guess it's either the giant warcraft that flies through the sky and makes its warcraft easy to discuss, or it's really scary. Especially..."

The prince smiles but can't see inside, the two deputies have turned their fearful eyes once again.

The scariest thing for me right now is you telling me that.

"No, as I explained in the sage's room. Because it's a coincidence that I found you. This is business. If you want to pay me, that's fine."

I lurked my voice.

Poison development is full sea. I'd like to be a merchant just to deliver the poison. I'm afraid I'm not going either. Well, you can't put poison on the table. Let the fame of the heroic prince who crusaded the dragon do its best.

"... assuming someone stumbles upon you, I don't think there's anyone else who thinks you can fight a dragon for it. Sage's story is that the way he found out he stopped breathing wasn't normal."

Craig suppressed his voice in the same way.

My head hurts. How to investigate efficient tax evasion in the noble territory, how to measure magic records using the annual wheel, and how to crusade dragons. How many pieces of information will blow my life just because of one leak? Knowledge is supposed to be the only force that protects the weak, but I feel my life gets lighter with every pile.

Anyway, keeping information secret from the Empire is a challenge.

I saw three bodies. Even if these dozens of times as many dead were out in the empire. Not now, at least. If the balance of power maintained in the presence of demons breaks, it could lead to people dying in tens of thousands of units, to war.

Empires should be protected by empires, and kingdoms are basically protected by kingdoms. Even the Empire should seriously think so.

"The dragon was out of strength due to the thinness of the demonic vein, so I recommend it as easily as I could discuss it. I can't do that."

There is no way you can perform the Knights feat low that you fought for your life. That shouldn't be on the secret and the balance of bad information. This is the first day I've ever felt it.

"Well, that's your story, then. Ricardo Vinder"

"No, that's why I couldn't just conclude that I'm in business..."

"The position of the other is irrelevant. Not only did Ricardo make his biggest contribution to the Knights' victory this time."

When the prince said so, he looked around.

"He risked an arrowstone with us."

At the prince's fingertips there are signs of a burst of dragon fireballs. Well, that's dying...

"Therefore, he is a comrade of the Third Knights."

Craig declared so and slapped me on the shoulder. The surrounding knights sounded the pattern of their swords simultaneously.

"Ha, ha, ha, it's an honor"

"Alfina with you on her side would make any wish come true. Well, I got a little something to show you about Ricardo on this crusade, let's not be too alarmed"

Interestingly enough, those prince words loosened the gaze of the two deputies.

Anyway, I'd like to know where you're going. For this one, Craig is a true hero. In terms of popularity among the people, kings and the like would be smashed. At least, it doesn't even pose a problem, such as the First Prince or the Second Prince, who did nothing. But the firstborn inheritance should be absolute.

I don't feel ambitious about power when I say throne to the prince himself. But if you're too dumb to understand my ambitions, it's fine in the first place. More importantly, rather than power, this prince tries to do what he wants on his own.

Whatever good treatment you get, you jump out of the company and you're not satisfied until you're at the top. It looks like a common temperament with many of the charisma managers I've read. When that happens, is it decided where to go? Wouldn't the question of whether there is a place for this man in this hardened nation grow larger over time?

Still, it would be nice if stability continued as before. But what if the devil's pulse fluctuates frequently this hand thing? There is no need to say that about whom the expectations of the people will be concentrated.

"Yeah. You finally got back to your mastermind face. Now what are you targeting?"

I can't tell you that I was thinking about how to deal with you.

"Fair enough. I'll have you stick to the triumph. My comrade."

"... you have no choice"

Something about Alfina's parents that I personally appreciate. I can't tell you I don't want to stand out. Besides, if what the miners have told us during this crusade is true, Kurtheit must not be left alone.

Nevertheless, there is a lot of reflection this time. Alfina forced me, and I was driven out onto the battlefield, this tour is a completely red dot on a conservative basis. The prince gave it to me, but it was a complete coincidence that I had that pollen on hand this time.

I sighed as I saw the Prince's back giving instructions to go down the mountain.

"What's up, Ricardo? Does it still hurt somewhere"

Claudia glances at my face.

"Oh, no, next time something like this happens, I don't think you should rely on luck."

Claudia shook her head as she sifted.

"... you're already worried about the next battle, the man who was trembling until just now. That's something out there, really."

"No, that's not what I'm talking about."

Claudia shook her head. What I'm trying to say is that I'm going to deal with it more definitively next time and make sure it's all conservative.
