The Economics of Prophecy

Two stories, directly with your own eyes.

The soothing kitchen of the previous day and the flickering venue air irritate the skin. The place is the biggest room in the Lordship Hall. Bigger reception room than a conference room. Surrounded by a surprisingly black Imperial Knight around the room, he even patrols outside the window to knights on horse dragons.

It is natural security because an important meeting is being held to determine the future relationship between the Kingdom and the Empire. Because you are usually responsible for the side of the venue. It's just that the size of the room doesn't dilute that intimidation at all. I want to believe that.

Two negotiators from both sides on a large square desk placed in the center of the room, one observer.

As per the country's location, it's Dagobad and Liezabelt on the north side of the desk and Craig and me on the south side. Maitille, who plays observer, sits on the west side. That's a picture of the lowest degree of difficulty in finding the wrong person. One of the people in the seats... is out of company.

By the way, Craig's deputy and Fabius are holding back on the wall, and there's Crane behind Mathill. That adding these three won't change the answer to the search for mistakes......

The two maps spread over the square desk are contrasting shades. The right side is dull and browned. I guess it's pretty old stuff. Much more familiar than the map provided by the Empire after the ceasefire negotiations. Maybe 400 years ago.

On the left, it's a recently completed object. It's been created in the field around the route from where we landed in the Central Garden.

It was made by one of the participants from the First Knights in cooperation with Fabius. With that said, the First Knights had outstanding abilities in terms of battlefield setting.

"Instead of an agreement, the empire and kingdom form an alliance to hit the Warcraft. The reason for that was your prophecy."

Dagobad made the first sound without saying hello. There's nothing in that look that makes you read emotions, but at least there's no insult.

"Given the magnitude of the expected disaster, it is hard to believe that it will be confined to the Kingdom. It's our idea that we need to deal with this jointly."

Craig said. They're both flying because of their first tits. It's a good trend for me to focus on speed. As for this negotiation, there is only one premise that can be made.

Alfina shows in full anticipation of some of the disasters that have struck the kingdom so far. The credibility of prophecy itself should be recognized by the Empire as well. The next issue is whether or not the empire trusts that the kingdom will accurately convey its prophecy, but the fact that the King Prince himself has come beyond the dangerous realm guarantees credibility.

Of course, it doesn't mean credit in the general sense, but that there's a reason to do that. In other words, if you deal with him, he says, "You're desperate for the kingdom." This is a weakness in the negotiations.

"I don't know about that. Imperial demonic vein activity tends to decline. In turn, the kingdom's demonic vein activity tends to revitalize. Didn't the order come around to the kingdom we've spent so far?

Dagobad pointed it out. It is a natural way of thinking. The next problem is to make them understand that you are also lots of students. Craig looks at me.

"In the kingdom, we call the next disaster a catastrophe."

I'll come to a conclusion because I'm new too.

"You're exaggerating. I guess the kingdom calls a small herd of warcraft or one dragon a disaster. By that standard, the Empire is hit by catastrophe every year."

Dagobird held up one cheek. However, my eyes are not laughing.

"You know the ancient nation that spanned the realm of the present kingdom and empire,"

Dagobad's expression gets harsher. A bomb that could lead to stories such as, for example, "The royal family is the rightful successor to that nation, and therefore the realm of the empire is also inherently the realm of the kingdom". And vice versa.

I don't know which is true, which would be true, but both would be true, but both would be lies, but it's a theme that won't come with any cleanup. I don't want to touch it if it's possible for me to build a city halfway between a kingdom and an empire.

"That nation perished about 400 years ago. No, destroyed by catastrophe."

I said in a calm voice. Keep looking at the look on Dagobad's face.

"It's our hypothesis that the same” dragon swarm raid ”will occur."

Dagobird is not surprised. Probably because Craig explains it to some extent. Encourage him with his jaw to continue ahead.

"The Magic Wavelength Measuring Instrument Ehlis, developed jointly by the Kingdom and the Empire, has produced unusually high magic power in the Kingdom in recent years. Let's call this high density magic a deep red magic power to match the demonic crystals. This is the basis for believing that the next calamity is different from the previous ones. And it was our expectation that the same thing would happen in an empire with a sedated demonic vein."

I thought it was like an academic presentation. And see Mayteel and Crane.

"We assembled the same measuring device at the behest of His Royal Highness Maitir to measure our demonic veins. The demonic pulse around Maldoras is slight, but we have confirmed the occurrence of a magical force that corresponds to deep red."

Crane said. The Empire confirmed it to itself, this is what matters.

"Don't you know Dagobird to some extent, too? Imperial demon pulse activity. In other words, the total amount of magic is certainly decreasing. Along with that, the damage of ordinary warcraft like the Wolf has been greatly reduced. But the frequency of powerful warcraft like dragons hasn't changed that much"

Dagovard glanced at Mathier's words. I see, now that the most elite troops against the mighty Warcraft have been halved, is the man in front of you the most realizing that?

"So if the prediction of catastrophic catastrophe hits, it's unlikely that the damage will be limited to the kingdom. The catastrophic damage 400 years ago was worse for the empire than for the kingdom, I hear so."

I said. Dagobird glared at Mayteel.

"I'm not sure this man brought me here."

"Oh, even if I were brought in, I wouldn't lie about the magic trick."

Mayteel spoke subtly of Dagobad's restraint. Thanks to you, Dagobad and Crane's gaze pierces me again.

"Cohon. It's just a hypothesis at the moment, of course. As I indicated earlier, I am not going to tell you to believe a hypothesis that we ourselves do not have certainty of. We're here to test this hypothesis."

I pointed north of the brown map. There is a mountain of potpounds written on the plain.

"An investigation into the traces of a city that perished in the catastrophe of 400 years ago. In addition, we approach the Blood Mountains, the heart of the Devil's Vessel, to measure the Devil's Vessel. Specifically, we're planning a site survey of the city that says it's at the foot of Flying Dragon Mountain. I said it first."

I added. We treated the Imperial impossibility as a relay point. Dagovard and Leezaberto raised their faces.

"So, here's a suggestion. Would you like to take part in this survey from there? It's better for the Empire to see for ourselves."

If you ask me, I suggest we go scouting common enemies together. Like the earlier demonic pulse analysis, let it be confirmed only with your own eyes. Much quicker, more convincing, and safer for this one than we can investigate alone. Or I can even say that the alliance against the Warcraft has already moved if that succeeds.

"... for a kingdom aimed at the possession of the realm of the Feilongs, the investigation of the nesting grounds, which is the greatest obstacle, is mandatory. Is this suggestion going to help us with that?"

"I don't deny it, though. Politically, empires and joint forms are more flexible in choosing future options. If the kingdom alone explores the deepest realm of the Flying Dragon, it will be a lot more difficult."

Craig said. Exploration of unknown lands is also a claim to possession. If we explore the depths of the kingdom alone, we must claim possession of all the realms in the future. There is no way in the kingdom at the moment that we can manage the entire realm of the Fei Long. That's a problem for my new urban concept.

Dagobird closed his eyes when Craig's words were over. As this being disappeared, it sinks into thought without a word. Why does it look so good when it's imperative that they say if I do it, I'm making a fool of myself?

"What's in your interest? Ricardo Vinder"

When Dagobad opened his eyes, he shifted his gaze to me. Is this the first time you've been called a name?

"Profit......?

I asked back. It's good to be calm, but this guy is too oligarchy for me to be a communist.

"You say what battlefield you have ready, how you fight and how you intend to win. You would say that the futures markets and cities the kingdom makes drag the empire into a battlefield that is beneficial to kingdom merchants"

said Dagobad. Yeah. Are we talking about that one? I want you to stop talking to your merchant opponent with battlefield metaphors.... I don't have a problem with that in a way. Turning to the side making the rules is the most advantageous means under any circumstances. But I don't think we're in a situation where we can afford that, each other.

Well, I had no choice but to ask for a host.

"Surely business can also be described as a kind of battlefield. The size of the commercial zone for merchants is the same as the territory for the state."

That's what I said first.

"But even the state will increase its territory in a way called pioneering, besides war. And unlike the size of the land, the commercial zone and market size for merchants can be much easier to scale."

"What does market size mean"

I used this word without losing, but Dagobird has asked me what I mean without worrying. It's a little defensive.

"In a nutshell, it's the amount of money flowing across commerce and the speed of rotation. Connect the markets previously divided into kingdoms and empires stronger than ever before. If the markets of 1 and 1 combined, it would also be 3. Because there are multiple elements, or merchants or commodities, but more of them means more of a combination. That also increases the amount and speed of rotation of the currency in the commercial area. It will actually take decades or more in the future to make the size of the commercial zone, but ten times what it is today. That way you can be both winners. This is the logic of commerce."

"That's a trick."

"It's a trick. But it's a trick."

I keep watching Dagobird.

"Battlefield strife involves the life and death of individuals and groups. Agricultural production is again. This can't be a trick. Because if you die, if you perish, it's over. But there will be no life or death in commerce. Play, so to speak, it's an excerpt. Bringing life and death to play is inefficient. Freedom can exist because it's play. And I need it. Of course, to a certain extent..."

I shrugged my shoulder when I said that.

"What we need is a new city where both countries are free to engage in commercial activities, and a futures market that creates a flow of information to gather people, things, and gold. We merchants are creatures that can't move without profit."

To my words, Dagobad becomes the face of the nastiest thing I've ever seen. And I saw Lisa Belt.

"From what I've heard, the details were far too detailed to be called dream stories."

Lisaberto said.

"Ricardo would do it. From the point of view of the combination Ricardo has just mentioned, the magic wavelength measuring instrument and the improvement of the magic wand prove it."

Maityle opened her mouth.

"Which side?"

"I'll say it as the Empress of the Empire. I would be relieved if I thought about not going to the kingdom. Not for my own sake, but only when I think of it as an empire."

"... is the kingdom letting such a man go wild"

Dagobad grabbed his back teeth and told Craig.

"It wasn't easy, actually. Ricardo figured out what he was going to do this time, so he could say I followed him. We need to keep an eye on both the kingdom and the empire for new cities."

The next king of boulders, my negotiating skills are different. It just sounds like I'm serious.

"However, I acted with Ricardo many times in difficult circumstances. So why don't you take a look at Ricardo in person?"

Craig further raised the bargaining hurdle. That's impotent, no matter how much. At least if I could borrow a horse dragon car and someone who could manipulate it, wouldn't that have been your word?

For some reason Mayteel is nodding, "I can see that a little bit."

After staring at Craig and Mayteel's expression, Dagobad sank back into his thoughts. Silence persisted in the meeting room longer than earlier.

"Ricardo Vinder. Let's see how many of those big words are."

Dagobad said. Oh, is Craig's provocation now my fault too? There's a big problem with the safety.

"Uh, that's nice to meet you"

I said. Well, you've come this far and now. As long as it fits the strategy of focusing on speed, as far as this one goes, until we get on board.

"It's depressing to have the flag of the kingdom extended to Mount Flying Dragon."

"Okay. You're getting interesting. Come on, let's make an actual march plan."

Craig drew the map. Dagobird seems to respond to the conversation as well, saying, "It's not an amusement mountain." Craig's deputy and Fabius, as well as Dagobad's men, gather around. I left my seat and moved to the window.

"Looks like you won't be staying long."

Lisaberto came to me.

"Right. If I could stop by again on my way home...... Oh, yeah, I wanted to ask you one thing."

The sight outside the window reminded me of one question. Among the mountains of Maldoras, the high mountain receives a white crown. To say now is autumn......

"Is that a glacier?"

"Yeah, that snow won't melt even in the summer."

"What are you talking about?

Mathier came to my side, too.

"It's a question of how to take a record longer than the annual wheel. Right or glacier...... Uh, Your Highness, I actually need you to make something for me."

I said as I remembered that weapon that Mathilde was using.
