The Economics of Prophecy

Twenty stories, Craig Report.

Following a report of a purple magical reaction, we headed north west of the empire, a village just west of Flying Dragon Mountain. The empire had a few demonic crystals from numerous nearby demonic veins and livestock such as goats were the main productive villages.

They were about 80 houses in size. Somehow, when we got there, most of the village had already been destroyed.

Terrible stuff. The house had been destroyed and devoured without distinction between people and livestock. There were few survivors.

Only two warcraft, no warworms, caused the tragedy. The figure was completely different from what we saw on Flying Dragon Mountain. Wearing the sides from the back with a thick outer skin like armor, a large one horn on the head and a fang-like protrusion on its left and right. It was like a three-fork spear. Is it common ground that there are six legs?

What stands out is that a huge core of deep red was shining between the eyebrows sandwiched between the big two eyes.

This one has 30 horse dragon knights, 18 of us with a new magic wand. Twelve Imperial Magic Instructors with regular magic wands. Two small broken castle hammers. You're more than three times as powerful as you were in Flying Dragon Mountain.

Seeing the demon bug descending on the ground, Dagovard immediately instructed the battle to begin. I was expected to have the ability to fly, and I had received information from you regarding the lightning strike. I think it was the right decision to make that now that the opponent is down on the ground, it's a fighter.

Nevertheless, an unidentified opponent. First I decided to concentrate my strength on one in front of me. The first intensive attack caused by our helitis was exposed to the side of the demonic worm. Regardless, he aimed for a small pattern that glimpsed into the abdomen covered with armoured skin. But, of course, the object on the outer skin side of the back like armor, even the one that landed on the side near the abdomen, which should be thinner than that, was turned back. It literally didn't scratch a body that glowed like a ruby.

At best, it's eye-catching. But this one also assumed that the enemy's power outweighed the larvae. Using that blindfold, he let the horse dragon storm the broken castle hammer that pulled. The attack succeeded and the demon worm flashed.

By the way, the crashing broken castle hammer was kicked back into the outer skin. I just saw a slight blemish where it hit me.

I got back on my feet like there was nothing, and I glanced at the demon bug that saw this one with a boulder. It's a bug's eye, anyway. I can't read emotions.

And it seems that the shock drew attention, the two spreading their wings. Thick back armor spread as-is, with clear, thin wings coming out from underneath. When I thought the deep red light flooded me from the clear wings, I was flying quickly. There's no escape.

Of course we're not just going to let them get away with it. Spirulitis was emitted toward the stripped abdomen and wings. But the demon bug in the air cleverly twitches with his butt pointed.

No, it was totally different in size, but it was like chasing a fly with your hands. That's not a hit.

The body of the demon worm, which flew up quite to the sky, began to glow yellow. The light keeps moving forward from the buttocks, the same pattern as the larvae. The thunder finally gathers at the three forks at the end of the head.

It looked like a spear with thunder all over it. There's enough distance. But I have that information. We rushed to the adjournment and ran to a low place. It was just after that that the lightning strike came swinging.

Definitely a longer range than spirulitis. Besides, the two of them are timing, and the thunder stream is approaching as they burn the ground. A tree that was nearby ignited in an instant. When the next one comes, it's over, honestly. I'll be ready then.

I was lucky the other guy pulled it off with it. According to the Magic Instructor, the magic power of the deep red core was decreasing. Later I looked for a point where purple magic was blowing out, where the ground was dug in a rind bowl and numerous eggs were found on the side.

For the bugs, I guess they were accomplishing their purpose.

"Thanks to you, it's done."

Craig said as he rubbed his wrapped arms around with a bandage.

The conference room at the Knights of Warcraft headquarters was silent, except for His Highness the Commander, who speaks alone. Yesterday, Craig's appearance as a dragon knight on a horse dragon sent as a sign of his alliance had become the reputation of the Wang capital as early as possible. But underneath that cloak were traces of struggle.

"Yeah, well, this is the fingernail trace that was left in that village"

Craig copied it on paper. I showed you that. Same thing I picked at that ruin. When I gave it to Alfina, Alfina also nodded with a blue face.

"Good. You're safe."

I managed to say that. Even if I know it's pointless, I feel guilty about myself being back home.

"This one only had to be wounded, but there were three war dead in the empire"

Craig, who was talking about a hell of a struggle as if it were nothing, dropped his voice for the first time. Maityle lay down her face and put her hands on her chest. Fulsey also seals her curiosity about the Devil Bug. Alfina is shaking her hand with a copy of the claw marks she was given.

Again, I realize that I am returning to a peaceful kingdom as soon as possible. It means we have a responsibility not to waste our sacrifices.

I don't know if it would be a real comfort to a dead person, his family or anyone close to him. But at least we have to do everything we can to protect the grieving survivors.

"First, we've got some really valuable information"

To that end, we must calmly organize and analyse the information.

That the demonic worms undoubtedly gather in purple magic. And that the misery shown in the prophecy is undoubtedly due to its demonic worms.

In other words, it has been established that the identity of the Warcraft of Disaster is an adult insect-type Warcraft.

As expected, but what could be finalised is extremely significant. The most valuable information is that the strategic assumptions are not incorrect.

That's for sure.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

"So the Devil Bug of Disaster is far more powerful than expected. Uncomparable defenses to larvae types, maneuverability to fly skilfully more than flying dragons. On top of that, they attack us with powerful thunderbolts from over a long distance."

Craig nods at my words.

"Well, I want to ask Ricardo what to do"

And then a question flew in that pierced my chest.

…………

I was silent. Even though the party that actually fought has remained calm, I still haven't stopped sweating.

Only two, and an adult that may not be seasonally adequate, are this strength. This is what strikes me in large groups. The way to fight breaks the strategy of making progress in learning. Destroyed at once before learning.

"What about Dagobird?

Mayteel asked on my behalf to be silent.

"The attack doesn't go through anyway. It seems that the demonic power of this weapon, which focuses on attacking the target's surface, is not being pushed down."

"When the broken castle hammer doesn't work, the magic pressure is quite different. Sometimes you just have a deep red core."

Mathier's face clouded. Further improvement of spirulitis is possible. But that's more of an improvement in accuracy, speed, and magic efficiency than power. It's not damaging in the first place with the current story.

Perhaps extremely sensitive to air vibrations. If they fly through the sky, they won't even hit it.

It boasts an overwhelming defense, faster than this one, including flying, and longer attack power and range, on top of the difference in physical force that you won't win if you do melee.

Instead of one being comparable to a dragon, it's more than that. This one has no element to beat.

"Looks like you need a new magic wand to fight it."

Fulsey said. Mayteel nods. It cannot be countered by the extension of existing weapons, that decision will be correct. The development of a fundamentally new magic guide. That's a hell of a question. Anyway, so far, the magic trick itself has basically not changed.

"Do you have an idea?

Craig asked me again in a calm voice. I can see everyone's gaze coming at me. No, only Alfina turned a glance at Craig.

No, Craig has the right to demand it.

"... excuse me. Very now..."

It just doesn't necessarily mean I have the power to meet that demand.

"I hope so."

Craig slapped me on the shoulder brightly. It's a light motion that sounds like a pong. But it was a tremendous weight to pass from a bandage-wrapped arm.

"His Royal Highness Prince Wang. Just Ricardo..."

"Alfina did a good job. Without that thunderbolt information, it would have been dangerous."

I trembled at the words. That's the information Alfina wouldn't have gotten if she had grown up the way I wanted.

"That's not what I meant. Ricardo..."

Alfina eats Craig.

Craig normally incorporates the power of Alfina's prophecy into his measures. It's obvious. It's obvious, but you can still take it from me...

"No, I know how Alfina feels about Ricardo, but honestly, I can't guess anything else"

"Are you saying that Ricardo's contributions so far are not enough?"

The princess and the prince flirt. This is not good. As it were, Alfina was on the arrow side of the disaster...

"And anyway. I'll go back to the lab and figure out what to do."

I still can't think of anything, but I had to say so.
