The Elf Is a Freeloader

Is it a demon?

Early one Sunday morning in the middle of August.

Elle was in the kitchen, preparing breakfast with a gleaming look on her face.

"Miso Soup - Miso Soup"

There is a good smell of miso soup in the pan where Elle is stirring.

Akatsuka family miso soup is red without leaking in the example of the Nagoya area. The intense aroma, red and unique, loosely envelops the living room and kitchen.

Right now, Elle is the only one in the kitchen. Apparently, Yasushi is still asleep.

It is a little after 7: 30 a.m. Sunday. It's more of a time period for a human still asleep, and it doesn't mean he's particularly vulnerable in the morning.

Still, when I think of Yasushi, who will be awake about time, Elle's face naturally breaks.

A few days after that "G" shock incident. The next day and the next day, etc. became a bit of a mess with Yasushi, but I was able to behave naturally over time.

"Mr. Yastaka likes leeks, tofu and abraghe utensils. I like the same utensils."

Elle's somewhere out of tune song continues as he handily puts the chopped utensils into the pan. Her long ears are shaking pimply to match that song.

That's how Elle watched the miso soup, and the cooker beside him played a melody that was over cooked.

"I cooked well ~"

Hot air stood me up as soon as Elle opened the lid of the cooker, mumbling a phrase I'd heard somewhere. Elle's grin deepens when he sees the shiny cooked rice that exists beyond it.

"Freshly cooked rice - delicious in addition to others"

Stir the cooked rice in the cooker with a servant. After doing so, close the lid again and make sure it is insulated.

"If you do this, it's always warm, isn't it? This Suihanki Denkaseihin is also really useful."

I finished getting my breakfast ready the whole way, El. Having grown accustomed to this method of cooking and so on, she was able to prepare her meal by herself.

Nevertheless, only relatively simple dishes can still be done. Elle thinks it won't even reach its feet compared to Yasushi, who creates a variety of delicious dishes.

"Mr. Yastaka, you're not up yet. Usually it's about time you woke up. Could you have stayed up late in the evening?

With her gaze on the ceiling properly, Elle lowers her hips to the sofa in the living room with Posan.

And with the remote control that was on the table, turn on the TV.

A TV that's really casually turned on. When he saw what was reflected in the screen, Elle opened his eyes in amazement.

Sometimes in summer, Yasushi sleeps only with a thin towel kettle.

Sometimes late in the evening he used to play with his computer in his own room, and he was still in a fine sleep.

However, a pleasant fine sleep is forced to be interrupted by the noisy footsteps that are heard from outside the room.

"Heh... what...?

While still half asleep, Yasushi only wakes her upper body up on the bed with a swell.

When I tried to take off my t-shirt, which was slightly damp due to sleeping sweat, I suddenly opened my own door and Elle rushed in.

"Yastaka!! Oh, my God!!"

Elle, stunned on his face, pulls that hand and tries to take him out of the room, even though Yasushi is about to take off his T-shirt.

"Duh, what's going on, El? So hasty from all this morning...?

"Hurry up and come to the living room!!"

Yasushi went out into the hallway while Elle pulled his hand. Even then, Elle heads downstairs with Yasushi's hand pulled.

As she herself said earlier, I guess we're headed to the living room.

Elle's expression is serious in itself. Apparently, it's not like putting some kind of prank on Yasushi or anything like that.

Then there was also some incident, and did someone I knew get involved in it?

Behind Yasushi's brain, the faces of her parents and close friends disappear.

"So what's going on, El? Was there some kind of incident?

"... there he is!!"

"Were you there? What do you mean? also, could 'initial g' have come out again...... Huh!?"

I remember the "G" shock incident a few days ago, and Yasushi's face became slightly red. Whatever Elle's half-naked appearance at that time was firmly burned in his brain, and I can still remember it clearly.

"Chi, no!! I'm sorry about that black mustache!!"

Did Elle also remember the lapse then, dyeing its cheeks red?

"So what do you say there is?

"Demons!!"

"Ma... Ma...?

"That's right!! It's a demon!! It looks like there's a demon in this world, and the TV is showing it!!"

"............................................."

Yasushi looked at the TV screen and spoke out like a powerless voice.

Against such Yasushi, Elle is not excited or cold.

"Look!! This is definitely a demon, isn't it!? I've never seen a demon like this before!! Yastaka said there are no demons in this world, but you can do it!! But this demon, it looks funny. Speaking of demons I know, they all looked horrible..."

Elle seriously sees a demon destroying some city on the screen.

A lot of demons, who looked the same as they thought they were under, around some humorous looking demon rather than scared, are destroying the city and attacking people fleeing.

"This demon...... is it okay to leave me alone? They're destroying more and more cities and attacking people, aren't they? But there are no knights or adventurers in this world... oh well! There was definitely someone in a policing position called Kaysatskan."

"No... the police don't have teeth for these guys, yeah..."

Elle turns a strange face to Yasushi, who squeals powerless.

At first, Yasushi heard the words that Elle's demons had emerged and wondered if the demons had been diverted from other worlds like her.

There is never a zero chance that the demons will be transferred to this world for any reason than there are real examples such as Elle and the phantom spirits she recently contracted.

Yasushi just thought the TV was reporting the demon that came this way in an emergency bulletin or something.

But as soon as I jumped into the living room while Elle could take me, and watched the TV that was powered on, I instantly realized I wasn't, and disappointed to lose my power from that body.

"Huh? Can't it be Kaisatsukan...? Well, then, what do we do...?

Elle compares Yasushi's face to the screen many times as she grates.

"It's okay. You don't have to worry, because if you can fight those guys, you'll have the strength to do it right... you see, it's just here."

"Huh? Oh, that? Those are normal people...?

Appearing on the screen were five or six young men and women.

They bravely challenge the city and the crowd of demons attacking the people without showing fear.

Eventually, where they fought to some extent, they began to act the same way when lined up side-by-side.

Elle stares at such a sight in the screen with a pompous look.

Inside that screen, colorful lights burst with rhythmic music, enveloping the bodies of men and women who were fighting demons.

Eventually, when the light exploded, there appeared those dressed in colorful and odd costumes.

While they each posed, they named themselves, and at the end of the day they all talked highly about their team names.

From then on, more intense battles were waged than earlier.

Flashing spark. Flashing blade. A loud gunshot. A flashy light that flies.

And with a flashy light and sound, the launched attack defeats the demon.

"Uh... who the hell are they... from what I saw, they also used something magical, and they would lightly defeat such demons... adventurers... aren't they...?

The sights played out in the TV, El, I don't understand at all.

To El, Yasushi explains to him those who fought demons on television.

"Right... if you mean those guys in a nutshell... you're a 'righteous ally' guy"

"Yes? Seiginomikata.........?

That's right.

What Yasushi was watching right now was a Sunday morning promise, a "Hero Time" show that's been on the air for years.

"Huh? That's your play...?

Eating breakfast together, Elle blinked her eyes knowing what she had seen on TV earlier was a play.

"Oh. That's all a crop play using specials and CGs and stuff. Speaking of which, I don't watch drama because TV is full of variety and news shows. Hasn't Elle ever seen a TV drama either?"

When Elle watches TV, he mostly sits back on the couch with Yasuhiro and watches.

Elle didn't know anything about this TV show herself, so she was only watching what Yasushi was watching and what he recommended.

It is also true that the very act of watching TV with him next door was giving Elle peace of mind.

The action of turning on the TV casually was actually the first one today. That would be all Elle's behavior because he's gotten used to this world.

That's why Elle has never seen a TV drama before.

"That's the play... it's amazing, the play in this world... it was so flashy and bright, but how could you do that without using magic..."

In El's world, too, there was entertainment called play.

Nevertheless, they are spoken by travellers and others as they circle towns and villages, naturally the stage is a moveable tent and the stage equipment will be very simple.

Even if it's a performance, it's not uncommon for a troupe to hire a wizard to stage with magic such as light or illusion, and for a small troupe, only the lights of the pine lights are the lights.

For this reason, Elle, who doesn't know the synthesis and other techniques that are already common in this TV production, will find the flashy performances of such hero shows an incredible sight.

"Well, the demon earlier..."

"That's a wearing toy... people are moving inside a big stuffed animal. I mean, it's not a real demon."

"Ha... Oh, that?

Elle was listening to you with a pompous look. Her gaze sucked back into the TV she had been wearing continuously from earlier.

Now Sunday morning hero time seems to have moved from a feature show for boys to a cartoon for girls.

"Oh, oh, that... the painting is moving. Yikes!? Oh, why is that a play in this world too!?"

"Well...... there are scripts and scripts in the cartoon and the voice actor is a kind of actor, so when it comes to the play I wonder if I can even say it's a play......?

Having seen the sight of the painting moving as if it were "magic," Elle glanced and watched the animated show, and Yasuki sucked it all the way up without the miso soup Elle had made for me, smiling bitterly at Elle like that.

"You taste a little thin miso...... seventy points"

The slightly dry grading of Yasushi's dishes doesn't seem to be in his ears either, and in the end Elle kept watching it until the end of that animated show.
