The Entry-plundering Demon Hunter

Chapter 131: Stop Drawing Cakes, I’m Already Full

Dusk was falling.

On Nanshan Road, Chu Zhengxiong leaned against a police car and exhaled a puff of smoke.

He stared at an auto repair shop called Shunda.

"Old Chu, do you really trust the information he gave you?"

Next to him was Tang Zhan, dressed in a jacket.

He also had a cigarette between his fingers and took a few drags.

But his eyes held a trace of uncertainty.

Chu Zhengxiong glanced back at him, chuckled, and tossed his cigarette butt onto the ground.

He then ground it out with the tip of his shoe.

"I don’t care if the person who gave him the tip is reliable or not.

It’s enough that I trust him!"

With that, Chu Zhengxiong took the lead and strode toward the repair shop.

Following behind him were Zhan Kai, Sun Lang, and a dozen or so officers from the Martial Arts Police Station.

When they reached the shop’s roll-up metal door,

Chu Zhengxiong waved his hand at them.

The group quickly spread out, leaving Chu Zhengxiong alone.

BANG BANG BANG—

The loud banging sounded particularly abrupt in the night.

After a moment, a voice came from inside. "Who is it?"

"Hey, buddy, open up! I’ve got a flat tire. Need a hand patching it up!"

Chu Zhengxiong shouted inside.

As soon as he finished speaking, the person inside paused for more than ten seconds.

It seemed like they were discussing something with someone else.

After a long while, the person finally replied, "It’s the middle of the night! What time do you think it is? Go find someone else. We’re closed!"

"Come on, man, don’t be like that! You’re the only repair shop around here. If you don’t fix it, I’m stuck. Do me a solid and help me out. Money’s no object!" Chu Zhengxiong said hurriedly.

"Are you deaf or something? I said we’re closed! We’re not fixing it! Go find someone else!"

Then came the sound of footsteps, seemingly heading deeper into the shop.

Chu Zhengxiong let out an angry laugh. "Fuck, so you’re gonna do this the hard way, huh?"

The next moment, a giant blade appeared in his hand.

He took a few steps back and put his full strength into his arms.

The giant blade came crashing down directly onto the roll-up door.

SCREEECH—

The roll-up door offered absolutely no resistance against the giant blade.

It was like slicing through a piece of paper, tearing a gash right through it.

With a grim expression, Chu Zhengxiong stepped forward.

BANG—

He kicked it.

The kick tore a huge opening in the roll-up door.

As he was the first to step into the repair shop,

"You..."

The man who had been speaking with Chu Zhengxiong moments ago had turned back.

When he saw a burly man walk in carrying a giant blade,

his expression changed, a look of astonishment flashing in his eyes.

Chu Zhengxiong glanced at him and grinned.

"Hey buddy, can you patch up a tire for me?"

In that moment, to the man’s eyes, Chu Zhengxiong looked like a butcher straight out of a slaughterhouse.

He wasn’t a kind-looking man to begin with; in fact, he looked quite ferocious.

A towering figure, he was well over six feet tall.

His bulging muscles looked like they were about to burst the seams of his jacket.

He held a wide, giant blade in his hand.

It looked like it weighed at least two or three hundred pounds.

A hulking brute like this had just ripped open the roll-up door.

For him to then walk in and grin at you... it would leave a scar on anyone’s psyche.

But just as the man stood there, stunned and bewildered,

Chu Zhengxiong lost patience and strode forward.

He grabbed the man by the neck and lifted him clean off the ground.

"I asked you... can you patch a tire?"

The mechanic, caught by the throat, turned crimson as he struggled to breathe.

But at that very moment,

his eyes began to turn red.

Dark veins started to spread from his neck.

They looked like living worms

crawling rapidly over his face and head.

His entire face became increasingly savage and terrifying.

Seeing this, Chu Zhengxiong grinned. "So you really are one of the Blood Drop?"

BOOM—

With a flick of his arm,

Chu Zhengxiong slammed the believer violently against the main door.

After the brutal impact, the Blood Drop Believer knelt on the ground, curled into a ball.

That single blow had injured him severely.

He couldn’t even speak.

The next moment, everyone from outside rushed in.

Seeing the scene before them,

and especially that distinct, twisted face,

the officers who regularly dealt with Blood Drop Believers immediately confirmed his identity.

"What are you standing around for? Get inside and arrest them!"

At his command, Zhan Kai and Sun Lang led the other officers from the Martial Arts Police Station and charged into the back of the repair shop.

Chu Zhengxiong, giant blade in hand, glanced back outside.

Tang Zhan was now approaching with the remaining police personnel.

Chu Zhengxiong said nothing, but his smile widened.

It was now confirmed: this was a Blood Drop stronghold.

When Tang Zhan walked in, Chu Zhengxiong said with a laugh, "Well? I wasn’t wrong to trust him, was I?"

After gloating a bit at Tang Zhan, Chu Zhengxiong also headed deeper into the repair shop.

In less than half an hour,

Chu Zhengxiong emerged from the repair shop.

His face and clothes were stained with a considerable amount of blood.

CLICK—

The flame flickered in the wind.

Chu Zhengxiong took a few deep drags from his cigarette.

He leaned against a streetlight.

One by one, the Blood Drop Believers were escorted out.

There were also bodies, which were carried out.

Eventually, Tang Zhan came to Chu Zhengxiong’s side.

Chu Zhengxiong smiled, offered him a cigarette, and asked, "How many did we get?"

Hearing this, Tang Zhan glanced up at Chu Zhengxiong.

"Thirty-eight in total. You killed twenty-six of them. The twelve survivors have been arrested."

After speaking, Tang Zhan took the cigarette, slightly exasperated.

Chu Zhengxiong just laughed, looking completely unfazed.

"Even if I’d killed them all, it would’ve been no great loss!"

"The things these lunatics have done... they’re not even human!"

"Colluding with demonic beasts, treating human lives like dirt... I wish I could slaughter every last one of these bastards!"

At these words, Tang Zhan gave him a long, hard look.

"But speaking of which, that Lin Yi who gave you the tip is really reliable.

This place really was a Blood Drop stronghold!"

"We also found over a dozen bodies in the back—all of them were Martial Artists!"

"They’d been drained of their blood, almost turned into dried-up husks!"

Chu Zhengxiong nodded.

"That’s why I say they don’t deserve to be alive!"

With that, Chu Zhengxiong threw his cigarette butt on the ground and ground it out again.

He headed straight for a police car.

Tang Zhan glanced at him but said nothing, getting into the car as well.

Once the scene was completely cleared,

several police cars, red and blue lights flashing, drove off toward the end of the street.

...

"Good. As long as you took down a stronghold, Brother Chu, that’s what matters."

Back home, Chu Zhengxiong had called Lin Yi.

He had told him about the recent raid on the auto repair shop.

Only then did Lin Yi finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Ever since giving the information to Chu Zhengxiong, he had been on edge.

He was never sure about the information from Lin Yu.

After all, their relationship hadn’t been that close before.

Now, Lin Yu had popped up out of nowhere, continuously feeding Lin Yi information about the Blood Drop.

Lin Yi couldn’t help but find it strange.

’Why is he doing this? What’s his motive?’

’Or could it be... he’s an undercover agent who has infiltrated the enemy?’

Lin Yi quickly chuckled at his own thought.

Having lived under the same roof for all these years,

Lin Yi knew Lin Yu all too well.

Everything he did had to have some benefit for him; he wouldn’t lift a finger for something that didn’t help him.

Now, Lin Yu had already joined the Blood Drop.

That made him one of them.

Lin Yi couldn’t believe that he would suddenly be driven by some grand sense of justice, risking his life to go deep undercover.

’He must have some ulterior motive for doing this.’

But as for what exactly Lin Yu was planning, Lin Yi couldn’t see it yet.

’But if I let Old Lin continue to live with Lin Yu...’

’sooner or later, he’ll be in danger, and could even lose his life.’

Chu Zhengxiong once again fobbed Lin Yi off with the usual promise of treating him to a meal another day.

Lin Yi was practically immune to the "meal" excuse by now.

For as long as he’d known him, whenever he helped Chu Zhengxiong even a little,

the man would always express his gratitude by "treating him to a meal."

But to this day, Chu Zhengxiong had never actually followed through.

He only ever made empty promises...

And Lin Yi had had his fill of this particular "pancake."

After hanging up the phone,

Lin Yi found Old Lin’s number in his contacts.

He then hesitated... ’Should I really make this call?’
