The Escape of Layla
Full Part
"Bye, Jessica. I'm begging you."
"I can't believe I'm teaching Lady Layla...... it's horrible!
"Don't worry about that, I want you to tell me strictly. I want to be able to cook delicious dishes for Mr. Leanhardt."
Repeat the unknown question several times today before Jessica wears an apron in a simple blue piece.
After six months of marrying Mr. Leanhardt, it was worth the practice and I was almost able to cook alone. Still, about once a week, Mr. Charlotte mentors me regularly, but I have Jessica come in her place today.
That was why it was in Mr. Charlotte's confession, which was suddenly revealed yesterday morning.
"Yeah, that sounds pretty good. Leila's totally ready to cook."
I appreciate it because my brother was devastated, and whining, Mr. Charlotte puts down the spoon he used to taste the soup. I would be very happy to compliment Mr Charlotte, who should be called a mentor by placing it in the general household.
"That's terrible, Charlotte. I took it seriously, too."
Mr. Leenhardt, who was watching our interactions in a holiday-like, ruffled white shirt, objected somewhere dissatisfied. Apparently, there were times when Leannhardt tried to cook when he practiced making tea, but Charlotte said his taste was devastating. Since then, Mr. Charlotte has forbidden me to cook.
"At the earliest, that should be called a new kind of magic drug... The magic was acting strangely and it was a big deal..."
Mr. Leanhardt was still staring at Charlotte with a disgruntled face, moaning that he had had difficulty processing it. Say something. We're good brothers and sisters.
"Anyway, if Leila's improved so far, the soup won't be a problem anymore."
Mr. Charlotte puts a lid on the soup pan and winks lightly. Apparently, I'm relieved I got a passing score.
"Thank you, Mr. Charlotte. At this rate, you will advance."
"Leila's a good daughter-in-law. Truth is, your brother doesn't have enough."
Mr. Charlotte glanced at us as he inadvertently recalled when he handily summed up the apron.
"Oh, yeah, yeah. I need to talk to you both."
"What is it?
I will sit next to her too, recommending a chair to Mr. Charlotte subtly. Mr. Charlotte made a shocking confession as it was.
"Actually, I have a baby in my stomach."
"... Huh?
"You're still over six months away from being born. That's why I'm thinking of taking a break from the magic store before and after childbirth."
"- Congratulations! Mr. Charlotte!"
Unexpectedly, I try to block Mr. Charlotte's words and hold her hand. I had just guessed that I wanted a second child for a long time, and I accidentally rejoiced as much as I did.
"Thank you, Leila"
Mr. Charlotte looked embarrassed somewhere, and then stroked his stomach softly with a full smile.
"I had no idea. Congratulations, Charlotte. Even in preparation for the celebration."
"My brother did the same thing when he was Greater, but he's a big deal!
"You mustn't, Mr. Charlotte. Don't be so loud..."
"That's right, Charlotte. You should lay down now..."
In the meantime, I thought I shouldn't chill my body, and I rushed to lay my share of the knee over Mr. Charlotte's knee. Mr. Lienhardt is Mr. Lienhardt and recommends laying down on the couch with great seriousness.
"What is it, this overprotective couple..."
I notice that Mr. Charlotte is looking at us with a slightly pulled eye and returns it to me. I was delighted to have a new life with the Besters, and I was very upset. Mr Charlotte would also feel bad about being treated like a sick person.
"Um, I'm sorry. Glad to hear it..."
You can almost say it's the first time I've ever seen a woman with a child in her stomach, except for Rose. It was the truth that I didn't know how to respond correctly.
"I have nothing to apologize for. Thanks, both of you. Glad you're so happy."
With that said, Mr. Charlotte was slightly out of sight of Mr. Leanhardt. Perhaps you are embarrassed to be so worried about Mr. Leanhardt as to be overprotective. I know exactly how Mr. Charlotte feels because I taste the same emotions when I'm sick, too.
"Isn't Grete thrilled, too?
Mr. Leenhardt, who managed to calm down, smiles calmly as he re-sits in his chair. I guess I'm really looking forward to the birth of my new nephew or niece.
"Right. He talks to my stomach with Ralph every day."
What a warm and happy family portrait. My cheeks loosen just imagining it.
"Back to earlier, that's why I'm thinking about taking a break from the magic store before and after childbirth."
"You should. I don't mind if I take the day off tomorrow."
"Your brother is really overprotective..."
I wish I could say "I'll take care of the store" here if it's true, but I can't handle magic equipment without magic for a few minutes. Even with the same looking tools, the magic being applied can be different, so I can't tell you what's wrong with me acting as store owner instead of Mr. Charlotte.
"Mr. Charlotte, if there's anything I can do, say it. I'm not far from Charlotte, but I can now cook simple dishes..."
"Thank you, Layla. It could be sweet."
Let's encourage more culinary practice for Mr. Charlotte as well. Yes, it was the moment I made up my mind.
That's why cooking instruction depends on Jessica, not Mr. Charlotte, but Jessica at the time seems to be reluctant to teach me things, and I'm just frightened. It's been a year and a half since I left the Duke's house, so I thought it was time to get rid of the "lady" treatment, but the idea seemed sweet.
"I'd like to cook some nutritious dishes for Mr. Charlotte. Why don't you tell me, Jessica?"
I stared straight into Jessica's eyes and asked her in, and she finally seemed broken and nodded small.
"Okay. It's only going to be a dish for the common people..."
"It's warm and very tasty, isn't it? It's an honor to have Jessica teach you."
"To me, it's an unbearable word. Lady Leila."
The two of us line up and head to the kitchen. It's a sight I couldn't think of where I was at the Duke's house, but I hope this becomes commonplace. Yes, I secretly wished.
"Wonderful, Jessica. Jessica also has a culinary talent."
It was the egg dishes that Jessica taught me, starting with the specialty dishes. This is the first time I've seen Jessica's handicrafts, even though we've been friends for over a decade at the Duke's house. Look at the beautifully wrapped omelet and admire her dexterity again.
"It's a big deal, ma'am. I'm just helping a little at my parents' house these days."
"Does Jessica cook at your parents' house, too?
Even though Jessica is a civilian, she is the daughter of a well-known merchant. I can tell you that I live wealthier than a bad aristocratic house. Naturally, Jessica must be the "lady" in her parents' house and the servant who serves her.
"I don't have a lot of servants, and most importantly, I can't get out of my habits when I worked as a maid, and I hate standing still"
Jessica laughed somewhere out of her mind and prepared a knife and fork. Right in front of her is an undressed omelet I made.
"Here, let me taste it. Lady, if you don't mind, enjoy what I made."
"I'm nervous when it comes to getting Jessica to eat... Something that didn't work very well."
"Whatever the lady made is delicious."
"Then you're in trouble, Jessica..."
Really, I don't feel like Jessica's going to say anything tastes good. I never had the experience of being spoiled when I was at the Duke's house, but these days I don't feel like that decade's worth of sweetness is coming down on me all together.
"Sweet for your words, I'll have them too."
Gently put a knife in Jessica's beautiful omelet. The contents, which are semi-ripe to the extent that they do not collapse in shape, are appetizing even if they appear alone. Jessica must be really good at cooking to the point where she can make beautiful egg dishes.
"Oh, it's delicious, Jessica. This is fantastic!
"It's an honor to compliment you, my lady."
Jessica smiled carefully, continuing to carry my made omelet into her mouth. Seeing the look on her face like a slow taste makes me kind of sometimes.
"What do you think?
On the occasion that Jessica swallowed a bite of omelet, she couldn't help but insist on her thoughts. Jessica immediately told him with a full grin.
"Very tasty, ma'am"
"Really? It would be nice if you could tell me what the improvement is..."
"It's really delicious. If you insist, it will likely be softer depending on the regulation of the fires, so it would be perfect if you pay attention around it the next time you try"
"Fire. All right."
That said, I'll take a bite of my own omelet, too. It sure tastes not so bad, but I feel pretty stiff compared to what Jessica made. After all, there seems to be room for significant improvement in firefighting.
"A lady would improve quickly. I'm sure Charlotte and Leanhardt will be delighted."
"Hehe, I hope so"
It is going to be a little further before we can serve Mr Charlotte and Mr Lienhardt. I just have to practice this all over and over again.
"Nevertheless, I really congratulate Master Charlotte on her pregnancy. I'm also looking forward to seeing if your warrant will be born or if your lady will be born."
"Right. They must be very adorable."
The birth of a new family cannot wait. I guess the Bester family will be even busier.
"I'm sure your daughter will be as adorable as an angel."
"... hehe, I wish I had an edge"
All this, there's nothing else I can do to keep secretly praying. On the occasion of that accident, even though the once interrupted moon itself is visiting this place well, there was anxiety. Honestly, because I was just in an accident when they told me it was a body I couldn't have any more children.
Mr Lienhardt, of course, does not blame it. He sincerely wants a routine with me, and I love spending more time with him than anything else.
So maybe it makes me somewhat optimistic, but I'm trying not to think too deeply about this matter. May I have your friendship, and I retain my prayers.
"Right. … in any way, if the lady will live in peace with her heart, I will not want any more"
"Thank you, Jessica. I'm happy enough already.... I think Jessica could think a little more about herself."
Jessica always prays for my peace of mind every time I see her, but do you realize that as much as I wish her happiness? It's what Jessica likes and sees me for, and I'm trapped by me, and I know what idea is rather rude to Jessica, but I feel like I could use some more time for myself.
But I was reminded that the look on Jessica's face, which I accidentally showed, was more lively than I imagined, and that it might have been a matter of concern.
"In fact, the help of my parents was unexpectedly sexual, and I live a full day. He also participated in negotiations with other chambers of commerce and so on… it was worth it and next time he decided to deal with the very popular textiles in neighbouring countries. I'll bring it to your daughter too."
"Wonderful. Jessica's got a lot of business."
"I was surprised, too. If you need anything, please tell us what it is."
"Hehe, you're a good businessman quickly. I can't lose, either."
I'm not going against Jessica, but I'll just be a little realistic about the path of "teacher," which Mrs Lenhardt suggested before. Let's start by asking Jessica's Chamber of Commerce for textbooks.
