The Escape of Layla
Anemone Flower Words
As for one summer day when I was 16 years old, I was coming with His Highness to see the King's Capital.
Until recently, it was in the form of a stroll through the famous monastery in the Wang capital and a trip to a city crowded with people with its extension.
Of course, there are escort knights right next to us, and not just the two of us because there are escorts watching us even away, but after all, my breasts just bounce when I say I can go out with Your Highness.
If I looked up to His Royal Highness lined up next to me, I would still be on the cold side today. Deep ethereal eyes peeking out of silver hair won't shake either, as always.
Although the hands touch each other to escort only the shape, His Highness may even find this touch annoying. Still, for me, the warmth of this hand over the silk gloves did not change my pleasure.
An escort knight beside me occasionally provides a description of the store lining the road with directions. I realized that every store was lively and vibrant and that this country is still at peace today.
"That shop will be the famous bookstore in Wangdu. They have a reputation for selling quality reading."
Send your gaze as guided by the escort knight and there was a calm exterior bookstore. There are people in and out who look like good civilians. As the escort knight showed me, it was like a popular bookstore.
Sometimes we could afford the time, and we were supposed to take a peek at the bookstore. It seemed a little reticent to enter the store with escorts, but fortunately it was only the wealthy civilians who were in the store with their servants, so they didn't look so prominent. At best it would be thought of as a patronage of the nobility.
I unwittingly loosened my cheeks to the smell of a new book, unlike the mansion's study. I don't have much time to read my favorite book, but I like the book itself.
I took a thick book of lined leathers and turned it flat. It was apparently the main religion in this country, the Leweyne scripture. Not that I'm a devout believer, but if it's about a hymn complaint, I memorize it, too.
He loosened his cheeks as he gently glanced at the fingertips of the complex crest that supposedly belonged to the Le Wayne family. Living in the capital of the king of illusions is fun to imagine, although they know that the intrusion is the existence of a gaga.
His Highness, after all, was looking at the mountain of books without changing one expression. I know that's a lot of books you've read already, because it's about an excellent lord, but I wonder what kind of books he likes.
I doubt I even have the sentiment of liking something to His Highness in the first place, but we're both out in the corner, shall I ask you one thing bravely here?
But, Your Highness, I tried to call him, and I accidentally spoke. Outdoors, anyway, it may become a little more noticeable to call you Your Highness indoors. If His Royal Highness Prince Wang was known to be in the city, he rushed to fix the words, just because it could be a little noise.
"... What books does Master Lewis read?
If I asked His Highness to laugh, he looked at me slightly open. It's a rare reaction for him.
After a moment, you may have been surprised what I called you by your name. To avoid excessive confusion, but what if His Highness is offended?
"Um... I'm sorry. I thought if I called you as usual, people around me would know who you are..."
If you lean over unexpectedly whining your excused words, after a few seconds, a pale response descends.
"... no need to apologize"
A softly raised face and glanced at his expression at that voice, which even sounded cold, uncommonly entangled the gaze of both of them. Rarely does this happen, but I get kind of nervous.
But it was only a temporary thing, too, and he immediately strayed from my gaze. Take care of the ambiguous grin, looking softly at the side of His Royal Highness as usual.
What an awkward time was born. As I look for the topic, I put the Bible down and take one book out of the books that were arranged.
With a number of flowers drawn per page, the book was like a book that allowed authors to develop their own interpretations and stories about flowers. I'm kind of attracted to delicately drawn flowers and beautiful language choices.
In it, there was a chapter written about Anemone flowers, which unwittingly caught my eye. It's just my favorite flower, very interesting.
"Master Lewis, look. This author seems to make sense to the flowers. The words of Anemone…"
Where I tilted the book so that His Highness could see it, I also recognized Anemone's flower words for the first time, but the thought arouses me whether it was a failure.
"... 'Love in Love', 'Forsaken'?"
It could still have been a failure to introduce your fiancée, His Highness, to flowers that mean this. I should have opened the book to mislead the awkwardness, but I feel I've made the air unnecessarily bad.
"... hehe, you love Anemone, but this writer made Anemone mean a lot to you"
If you mislead me with a smile, the wind will stir the door of the store to open and close and the page will roll. Apparently, words vary depending on the color of the flower, and there was a description of purple anemones there. As far as purple is my favorite of all the anemones, I knew it would draw my attention.
"... 'I'll wait with faith in you',"
If I whispered the words on the page with whispers that would not reach His Highness, I would have laughed zero for what it was.
All my life, in this country, in that castle, it has been decided for a long time that going as a princess of kings is a statute of life. Yet who are we waiting for now?
When I thought of a well-defined future, I was sure I would remember something like obstruction, only slightly, really just a little. If I say that I am happy to stand next to His Highness, but I am not at all anxious about the responsibilities that come with it, I am sure it will be a lie.
Oh, my God, I closed the book and put it back where it belonged, swallowing thoughts that I couldn't possibly tell His Highness even if his mouth was torn. I was going to buy it because it's an interesting book, but now that I know what Anemone has to say, I feel like I want to look away somehow.
"Hehe, that was a little awkward to tell Master Lewis. Please forget it. It's the same fantasy as gaga."
His Highness was looking at me without saying anything. I still can't find out today what the emotions hidden in that pale gaze are. I'm sure beyond that, I'll just go over time unacceptable to even touch his heart.
But still, I'm blessed. Even though it is an edge tied in politics, it is this way that you can stand next to the one you find adorable.
Soon, we left the bookstore behind. I think I was just sitting there for about half an hour, but I feel like I've been staying for quite a while because of the awkwardness.
That's how I ended up face-to-face with His Royal Highness once a month.

"Brother! Let's stop by this bookstore! I want to find a story that Grete can read to you."
It had been a long time since Charlotte and I had come down to the king's capital of the kingdom to store magic materials and such, but after serving our general purpose, Charlotte uttered such an endeavor.
"... you should like it. I'm going home first."
"You're leaving one lady in a city like this?
"Lady......?
Unexpectedly, I take a serious look at Charlotte staring up with the same purple blue eyes as I do. Maybe she does look like a lady, but when I thought of her black history, I felt like she wasn't very much but couldn't say she was a lady.
"Are you complaining?
I sighed in my heart that this seemed like nothing else to obey Charlotte, who stuffed me. I feel sorry for myself for not being strong enough to get out with my sister, but I don't feel like rebelling.
"All right, all right, take your time, Lady Charlotte."
I signal that I told him to throw somewhat, so that Charlotte would drag him straight into the bookstore.
Famous for arranging fine books, this bookstore is busy even in the evening. While Charlotte was searching for a children's story, I appropriately looked around the store myself.
The book itself is not a special dislike. It's gonna be a good time, and it's like a comforting ally to us.
I rolled up a book that caught my eye that I might want to take this opportunity to look at a few books. The Lewayne scriptures on thick leather covers were just intriguing that I don't usually see. For a little while, I look through the complaints and teachings of the psalms. People in the kingdom seem to think a lot of interesting things.
Eventually a book with a number of flowers painted caught my eye, which I had placed next to it. I will casually take that book with the finely painted flowers and the interpretations that accompany it.
I know the name of one street of flowers, but I don't have any particular obsession with flowers except for the white lilies. But among other things, the anemone flowers that happened to be drawn on the open page popped into my eyes.
It's a small, poor flower. Softly glance through the picture of Anemone at your fingertips and look through the annotations noted next to it.
"... 'wait with faith in you'"
How long have I been waiting for her? [M]
Will "she" be waiting for me?
I thought that far and accidentally got a zero self-derisive grin.
"Believe me, I'll wait" is what you said quite easily. How hard it is to dream of a day when "destiny" moves, eager, rare, just keep waiting.
"Oh, brother, that book is kind of nice. Buy it?"
When I was blurry and lost in thought, Charlotte, with several books in her hand, peered into my hand.
"Oh...... yeah, let's do that"
No matter how awkward the content, it could be about free time.
I feel strange and warm if I gently stroke the delicate fitting. Do the signs of someone remaining in this book make you think so?
Charlotte just went to finish her accounting when she thought she'd recovered some books from my hand. He's just holding a few thick books because he's been holding up Grete from time to time and he's nothing.
I took a small sigh of sight as I watched my sister become stronger at some point. A completely orange-dyed light is slipping through the gap between the slightly open doors.
Turn your body around and take a blurry look at the evening light.
In the orange light, lovers and thoughtful men and women, as well as happy laughing families, were going out. Somehow, I feel like that peaceful sight is dazzling and I can't help it.
Unexpectedly laying her gaze down, immersed in a somewhat sentimental mood, Charlotte came back with a paper bag. If you casually receive a paper bag from her, Charlotte will pack the distance in such a way that she peeks into her face.
"Why do you look so lonely?"
Keep Charlotte's fingers on my cheek. It's a lot of strength. They don't know anything about additions or subtractions.
"Did you look like that?
"I was!... Let's have dinner together tonight! Ralph cared about his brother, too. Are you eating properly?"
"I didn't eat anything..."
"Your brother says that right away when you leave him alone!
You look down at Charlotte with a bitter face, swallowing the objection that even you barely spoke of eating at one time.
She stared at the orange light and squealed, wondering if she had a big sigh of relief.
"... I hope you find a lovely 'Destiny Man' who will have dinner with your brother soon"
That may have been an encouragement to a far-flung Charlotte.
I hate to admit it, but you look just like me. I get some kind of mind-blowing grin.
"... Hate, I'm not going to find you again tonight, so I guess I'll interrupt you away. Ralph, you take care of Grete all day, you'll be tired, and I'll help you if there's anything I can do."
"Yes! Make sure you do! Oh, sure, don't get your hands on cooking, okay? Because we all know that your brother's culinary taste is devastating!
Charlotte, who brightened her expression all the time, jumped out of the bookstore trying to pull my hand. Scattered to say, but I still can't stop hating you today.
At the edge of the orange-dyed sky, it was about time the sun was setting. I smile all the time without anyone watching the long stretched shadows of people laughing happily.
Two years later, on a gloomy rainy day, I still didn't know destiny was going to move.
