"Did the Duke of Pharos abandon the extermination of the Deep Sea Demon and run back?"

Arriving at the coast, Hilia watched the departing group and was puzzled after learning about the Duke of Pharos’ movements from Helder.

Helder said, "It seems there was an issue with his daughter. I have already informed Archbishop Blake and Archbishop Meilina."

Saying this, Helder gave a wry smile, "But neither Mr. Blake nor Ms Meilina has responded. They might have run into some serious issues over there as well."

Hilia didn’t know what was happening at the Golden Apple Stone Forest.

Just as she was about to speak, Doris’ voice came from beside her, "There are also many Deep Sea Demons appearing over there, it seems like there are also high-level demons. Mr. Blake and Archbishop Meilina are leading the Law Enforcement Knight Order into battle."

Hilia looked over, surprised, "Doris, you really came here?"

Doris said gloomily, "I searched for clues there for a long time and found nothing. I heard the alarm here, so I came over — I have to do something, right? Other than fighting, there’s not much else I can help with."

Rose laughed, "Doris isn’t great at PVP, but she’s good at PVE fighting!"

Hilia didn’t know what PVP and PVE meant, choosing to ignore it, "She is quite good at fighting."

Hilia asked, "How do you know what’s happening at the Golden Apple Stone Forest?"

Doris said, "A student named Leica told me. I confirmed it with other students, and he wasn’t wrong."

Hilia suddenly understood.

She had no contact with the other students there, only one classmate she knew, Shaline.

But she had no stellar contact with Shaline, and with no response from Ms. Ailina and Mr. Blake, she didn’t know whom to ask directly.

Fortunately, Doris seemed to know many of the students, saving her the time of going back to check.

Helder said, "I see, no wonder there hasn’t been a response until now. The situation over there may be even more severe than here. Fortunately, it’s all barren mountains, uninhabited. Until they resolve it, it seems we can only rely on ourselves."

He looked at Hilia, "Miss Xilia, did you also come to help us?"

Hilia nodded.

Hilia only called her to the coast, without explicitly stating what the solution was.

Besides the endless demons, the lighthouse with its top dismantled, and a heap of mages, there was nothing else at the coast.

Hilia didn’t know what the answer was.

She looked at Doris, lost in thought.

Could Doris be the answer?

In any case, before Rose delivers the oracle, let’s help deal with these demons first.

Hilia looked at Doris and said, "Doris, these demons from the Deep Sea come with intense pollution. Their power source is purer than heretics’, completely composed of pollution. Let’s split up, each stand to one side and use Purification Skill to assist everyone, how about it?"

Doris nodded, "Okay, although I’ve never been an assistant, I can give it a try."

Hilia nodded, then had Doris walk north while she went south.

The south side was near the lighthouse.

The magic array inside this lighthouse had not been interrupted by the roof being lifted and still had remnants, it could provide her with some magic power.

Soon, two dazzling glow spots of Purification Skill appeared, one to the south and one to the north, like two small suns, lighting up the gloomy sky.

Where the light reached, numerous Deep Sea Demons rushing to the shore revealed expressions of pain and struggled continuously.

The mages battling hard showed increased morale upon seeing this.

Helder also smiled, but then became serious again.

"When the Duke of Pharos left earlier, he said that there might be six-level demons hidden among these Deep Sea Demons, if not at least five-level. We must be careful."

He took a deep breath and looked towards a figure killing on the sea.

That was the Duke of Pharos’ butler, who had followed the Duke for many years and, with his help, successfully advanced to a fifth-level mage.

After the Duke of Pharos left, he became the main force of extermination.

...

City center.

The Duke of Pharos arrived near Phil a step ahead.

At a glance, he recognized the person shrouded in thick pollution as his daughter, his eyes immediately filled with grief and rage.

"Phil!"

Just as he was about to rush forward, a strong sense of crisis emerged, and he stopped immediately.

A sword light crossed in front of him, shooting towards the sky.

The Duke of Pharos’ face changed as he looked to where the sword light emerged.

A person in a black robe flew up from below.

"Lord Pharos, long time no see. I still clearly remember when you disrupted our Dusk Sect’s ritual last time."

Pharos stared at him, saying word by word, "Dusk Sect Deadpool, You Jelieya."

You Jelieya laughed sinisterly, "Seems like you haven’t forgotten me, Pharos, that makes it easier, come on, didn’t you want to kill me? Bring it on."

The Duke of Pharos unhesitatingly took out a blood-red crystal stone.

The crystal stone emitted a strong red light.

The whole of Letes City seemed to come alive, light appearing everywhere.

The array covering the entire Letes City slowly activated.

You Jelieya sneered, "An array? Haha, who knows how many times the Letes City array has been infiltrated by those Deep Sea guys, such an outdated array, and yet you still use it."

The Duke of Pharos dismissed further conversation and used the city’s entire array to launch a beam of light at You Jelieya.

Meanwhile, he sprinted towards Phil.

You Jelieya easily dodged the array’s light and sent a sword light of magic power slashing towards the Duke of Pharos.

"With an enemy of the same level next to you, do you think you can just go off and do something else? Haha, you old fool, if you continue on, I’ll destroy your entire city."

He sneered, pointing to the array light cluster not far away.

The Duke of Pharos looked over and saw the array there flickering, gradually dimming.

"Your array has been penetrated by those Deep Sea guys like a sieve, it can’t threaten me. Come, I don’t plan to destroy your city, just want to watch the fireworks together, the fireworks brought by the Deep Sea."

As he spoke, You Jelieya looked towards Phil.

The Duke of Pharos was held up, but others weren’t.

They were working together to block Phil.

However, other than one fourth-level, the rest were third-level, unable to stop her at all.

Phil wantonly destroyed everything, her eyes blood-red, occasionally someone ran out from a dismantled house, glanced at Phil, and ran without looking back.

"These cowards afraid of death." The Duke of Pharos was somewhat annoyed.

Some of those fleeing nobles were fourth-level, yet they had no nostalgia, simply fleeing, not wanting to engage in the battle.

Because they saw Arman’s tragic state early on.

The Duke of Pharos ordered his resisting subordinates to return.

He coldly looked at You Jelieya, his eyes slowly revealing a hint of madness, "Fine, fine, fine, since you’re here, then stay."

You Jelieya’s heart skipped a beat, sensing something amiss, decisively decided to flee.

"I’m not interested in fighting you to the death."
