The Executed Sage Reincarnates as a Lich and Begins a War of Aggression

Episode 221: The Sage Knows Who the Savior Is

I observe the rioters.

They were held in captivity with rope. They were quiet.

He's afraid of me before.

When I see each other, I rush away from my face.

I tend to forget because the executives treat me flat, but my appearance is black skeleton.

A combination of disastrous forces would be creepy in sight.

It was also natural for the general public to be frightened.

I cut out the story consciously so as not to intimidate.

"I came here because I heard there was a riot. I hear you guys did it, but no doubt about it?

No response.

It wasn't even an atmosphere where there was disagreement.

They seem to admit what they did.

When I glanced at the merchant-style man from within the group, I bowed before him and spoke.

"I need to ask you something."

"Hey, what is it..."

The man gives an uneasy look.

My abilities are widely known.

You understand that you can transform yourself into an undead with just a whim.

Regardless, I'm not going to do that, but if it makes it easier for a man to crack his mouth, it's convenient.

"You said the Savior had descended. I want you to tell me more about it."

"Oh, that's..."

The man says with a bitter face.

It looks like you have an answer, but you're intentionally hiding it.

"Is that something you can't tell me?

"No! It's just not enough to tell the Demon King..."

"I will judge the content here. All you have to do is answer questions. You get it?

"Yes..."

The man nodded mindfully.

He begins to speak with concern for the gaze of others.

"The beginning began with a chat that was nothing. From there it has developed a lot..."

What the man said happened about a dozen days ago.

Traveling through the woods, he was suddenly attacked by demons.

He was helped by a mercenary in armor when the escape was also about to be vain and killed.

The mercenary who appeared refreshed, when he held the demon, apparently let the man escape the scene.

The man said the mercenary was the savior.

Then the others started talking to us first.

Some had old men in robes helped them out of the hands of tyrants, while others were luxurious in liquor bars by flowing men.

Some had the sorcerer's woman help them carry their baggage free of charge.

Apparently, another was blessed with healing pills when he was falling scratched in a cave.

There was also talk of being led to the nearest village where I was lost.

What they said was generally similar.

A stranger said he helped me without asking for anything in return.

Helped, they told someone they knew about that strange experience.

At first it was just a beauty talk, and I just wanted to thank you.

But knowing those who had similar experiences, they wanted to be moved.

Gradually formed a group, of which someone said.

- There are people in this city who help people in the shadows.

The man is changing his appearance and stacking good deeds.

Empathizing with the unfounded facts and remembering further emotion, they began to call the person in question the Savior only at any time.

He recruited those with similar experiences and began to worship the Savior.

Finally, he planned a great deal of publicity to try to spread the Savior's presence to the people of the city.

In the middle of it, he argued with soldiers, leading to this sudden uprising.

"We never have the intention of criticizing the Demon King. I just want you to know the Savior. Please, that's all you can understand..."

"I got the situation. I'll let the soldiers know."

When I said that, people were relieved.

I'm stroking my chest down knowing I won't be killed for one second.

I saw that. I'll add one word.

"However, it is true that it caused the noise. A fine sentence would be reasonable. I am not going to punish you otherwise. Any objections?

Silence fills the room.

People seemed to be reflecting.

I don't even bother to preach.

If I punish this, I won't even imitate it in a detour.

I speak to a spy.

"I left the rest to you. I'll be back."

"I understand. Thank you for your time."

Set aside a smuggling detective to transfer.

The destination is over the city.

Walking in the air, I think.

(I didn't know the Savior's identity was a myriad of good men...)

It's not unusual to help people.

It can happen enough in any region.

The person who helped them will surely not be the same person.

Similar events just overlapped.

It's just a coincidence if you say so.

The trivial goodwill strikes me.

The people who caused the riots may have been of an emotional nature from the beginning.

It is possible that as a result of the gathering and exuberance of such persons, they have had an effect close to mass hypnosis.

The vague object of gratitude was clarified in the form of a Savior.

There is no malice there.

But I had a bad feeling.

(I can't underestimate this one...)

Several people's help developed into riots as a result.

Though I don't feel anything like a ruse, I get felt by some precursor.

I can't fool around with these hunches.

I think we should look into that city carefully.
