The Executed Sage Reincarnates as a Lich and Begins a War of Aggression

Episode 233: The Wise Man Picks Up The Possibilities He Threw Out

As the Saviors from all over rose, I was in a huge facility on the old demonic territory.

This is where I built it for the Demon King's Army.

Boasts just the scale to bring in swollen warfare.

On the premises there was a training ground assuming a variety of environments.

Saturated undead and weapons are also stored.

The forces stationed on this land alone would make one continent fall.

I was walking down the hallway of such an institution.

Henry is next door.

After the meeting, we're moving around the facility.

We were having a little chat after the break.

We are busy with each other, but these times are important.

Henry joins hands behind his head, stupidly with a troubled face.

"I've been fighting more often lately than I've been training. I'm very satisfied, but there are people who want a vacation."

"Let's allow it. Let me take turns to rest. If you lack the strength, I'll take care of it."

"The Admiral is quick and helpful."

Henry says happily.

It would be natural to grant permission.

The soldiers are human.

If the battle continues, it exhausts the body and mind.

This is how even I, the immortal, have time to rest.

I didn't mean to imitate them like I would torture them.

Speaking of which, how about a simple gun?

"That's almost perfect. Especially treasured on the defensive line. Compared to witchcraft, the power is modest, but still sufficient. I can bump through about my armor, and I don't need to train. I've also let Skeleton and Ghoul have it lately."

Henry says satisfactorily.

A simple type of gun is a weapon newly developed by the Institute.

It was an inexpensive version of a conventional gun.

Overall performance is poor, but mass production is easy.

Even if you say your performance is down, let's call it acceptable.

It still has an overwhelming advantage when dealing with witchcraft, bows and arrows, and old-fashioned artillery.

Furthermore, Henry seems to be devising a way to operate.

Looks like he's making good use of the gun's advantages.

Then we kept walking silently for a while.

Henry asks me if I have anything to check on.

"Hey, Admiral. Are we going to continue this war in the whole world?"

"I'm going to let it go on for a while. I'm going to look at the time and bring it to sedation...... dissatisfied with the current war?

"I'm not so dissatisfied as to say, but I really don't have to explain myself. I want a clear enemy."

Henry strokes his bearded jaw.

I learned to be hooked on Henry's remarks.

"An enemy would have nations of the world."

"I don't care about those people. I want to be the one who's causing more of this."

Henry says in depth.

I don't even have to explore its sincerity.

What he was trying to say, I knew right away.

- The will of the world.

"Exactly! This is the opponent I've fought many times before. Don't you think it's time we put a stop to this?

"That's a kind of law. It is not a being with form."

Certain organisms and objects can be processed by me immediately.

I was confident that I could destroy how powerful it would be.

But the will of the world is not.

It's what people want.

There was no way I could interfere with them beforehand, which occurs as various phenomena.

Henry looks difficult when he hears my point of view.

He groaned in remorse.

"Hmm, I thought the Admiral could handle it..."

"I am not omnipotent. There are just more bills than regular people."

Most things can be solved using magic, but few things are impossible.

If I could really do anything in the first place, I wouldn't be a demon king or anything.

"If you flash any secrets, let me know right away. Let's crush the will of the world together."

"Okay. Let's figure out how to make it happen."

Nodding at the riding Henry, a soldier came from the other side.

He salutes us and speaks to Henry.

"Dear Blarkin! It's time for a meeting."

"Oh, no, you did"

Henry scratching his hair says as he remembers.

He took his soldiers to the end of the hallway.

On the way, I turn around and say a word.

"Remember what I said earlier?

"Whatever."

"All right, I took your word for it!

Henry, holding his fist, walked away in exasperation.

Left on the spot, I stop.

I thought to myself, staring at the floor.

What I recall was the conversation earlier.

(Kill the will of the world, or...)

It's something I never thought about since I found out who it was.

I had concluded that it was impossible.

It would be a natural decision.

But Henry wasn't.

Should I have flexible thoughts like him?

Unconsciously, he may have been imprisoned by common sense.

- Hmm.

Eventually I walked out.

We even go down the hallway in response to the salute of a different mansion.

Behind his brain, he was exploring various events and their possibilities.
