I found myself trapped in a difficult situation.
On one side, the poison was slowly weakening my body.

My leg was caught in the spider’s web, and the remaining spiderlings were closing in from every direction.
The giant spider had finally begun treating me as a genuine threat.
The battlefield I had created for myself was disappearing.
I had cleared enough space to move...
But now I was trapped within that very space.
I focused on freeing my leg.

The more I struggled, the tighter the web became.
"...Not good."
I immediately stopped pulling.
Panicking would only lead to more mistakes.
Even though my head was still spinning from the poison, I forced myself to remain calm.
Using the last of my remaining mana, I froze the web wrapped around my leg.
The frozen strands became brittle.
Without hesitation, I swung Eclipse.
Crack!
The web shattered.
I quickly pulled my leg free and leaped backward, creating some distance between myself and the approaching spiderlings.
I couldn’t afford to lose my composure.
Right now...
A single mistake would be enough to end this battle.
I reinforced my body with mana and carefully analyzed the situation.
The number of spiderlings had already been reduced by half.
If I wanted to win...
This was my chance.
I couldn’t defeat the giant spider through brute force.
Not in my current condition.
So...
I needed to gamble.
My target was one of its legs.
If I could reduce its mobility, my chances of surviving would increase dramatically.
I tightened my grip on Eclipse and charged forward.
Using Gravity Control, I made my body lighter and increased my speed.
The giant spider noticed my approach and calmly raised one of its massive legs.
I swung Eclipse with everything I had.
Clang!
The impact shook my entire body.
But...
The result was completely different from what I had expected.
The spider casually shifted its leg and deflected my attack.
It wasn’t even scratched.
My eyes widened.
"...It didn’t even leave a mark."
I stumbled backward in disbelief.
The difference in strength was overwhelming.
But giving up wasn’t an option.
That attack had only failed because it saw it coming.
If I wanted to injure it...
I needed an attack it couldn’t predict.
I tightened my grip around Eclipse.
Then I made my body as light as possible once more.
My figure shot forward.
Using Dimensional Awareness, I avoided every spiderling rushing toward me.
I ignored them completely.
My only target...
Was the giant spider.
The closer I got...
The more dangerous it became.
Yet I never slowed down.
When I reached the perfect distance—
I formed an Ice Spear.
Then...
I used Space.
The Ice Spear vanished.
In the very next instant...
It appeared directly beside the giant spider’s eye.
The attack struck perfectly.
"SKREEEE!"
The giant spider let out a deafening scream as it violently shook its enormous body.
It had never expected an attack to appear beside it.
Taking advantage of that opening—
I stepped forward.
Eclipse flashed.
This time, I combined Gravity Control with my sword.
At the exact moment my blade struck...
I restored its full weight.
Slash!
The sword carved deeply into its leg.
Then...
With every ounce of strength I had—
I severed one of its massive legs.
The giant spider screamed even louder as its enormous body lurched to one side.
Finally...
I had managed to injure it.
But the battle was far from over.
My mana was nearly exhausted.
That final attack had consumed almost everything I had left.
The giant spider’s scream echoed throughout the chamber.
As it reeled in pain, the connection between it and the remaining spiderlings seemed to break for a brief moment.
The spiderlings scattered in confusion.
Some charged toward me.
Others crawled toward the giant spider.
I immediately seized the opportunity.
Without using any more spells, I relied entirely on my swordsmanship.
One after another, I cut down every spiderling that came within reach.
I couldn’t waste even a single drop of mana now.
My mana core slowly recovered what little energy it could.
Meanwhile, the giant spider regained its senses.
Despite losing one eye and one leg, it launched itself at me with terrifying ferocity.
Its attacks had become slightly slower...
But every strike carried overwhelming force.
I dodged most of them while blocking the unavoidable ones with Eclipse.
Even through the sword, I could feel the tremendous power behind each blow.
Fortunately...
My body had begun adapting to the poison.
Most of my strength gradually returned.
Although I still couldn’t use Gravity Control because my mana hadn’t recovered enough, I was no longer as sluggish as before.
Even so...
This remained an overwhelmingly unfavorable battle.
I silently engraved the lesson into my mind.
In the future...
I had to manage my mana far more efficiently.
Seeing me ignore it while continuously slaughtering the remaining spiderlings only enraged the giant spider further.
Its fury reached its limit.
Then...
It did something I had never expected.
The giant spider suddenly sprayed poisonous venom across the entire floor.
Within seconds, the ground became covered in deadly poison.
My escape routes disappeared.
I was completely cornered.
With most of the spiderlings already dead...
I shifted my full attention toward the giant spider.
I tightened my grip on Eclipse.
Activated Dimensional Awareness.
And charged forward.
A small amount of mana had already recovered thanks to my mana core design.
It wasn’t much...
But it would have to be enough.
I charged straight toward the giant spider.
At the same time, I formed another Ice Spear.
"Space."
The Ice Spear vanished.
In the next instant, it appeared beside the giant spider’s remaining eye.
But this time...
The giant spider had learned.
The moment the Ice Spear disappeared, it instinctively shifted its head.
The spear missed its target.
"...It adapted."
I clicked my tongue.
But I didn’t panic.
I had already expected something like this.
The giant spider was wounded.
It had lost one eye and one leg.
Its movements were no longer as smooth as before.
I only needed one more opening.
Instead of forming another Ice Spear, I condensed a Darkness Bullet.
Unlike Ice Spears, Darkness was far more difficult to notice.
The giant spider wouldn’t see it until it was too late.
"Space."
The Darkness Bullet disappeared.
The next instant—
It appeared directly beside the giant spider’s remaining eye.
Bang!
The attack struck perfectly.
"SKREEEEEE!"
The giant spider let out an agonizing scream as Darkness pierced its remaining eye.
It thrashed violently, swinging its enormous body in every direction.
"This is my chance!"
I pushed my exhausted body forward.
Using the little mana I had left, I made myself lighter and leaped toward the giant spider’s head.
"Eclipse!"
I plunged my sword downward with all my strength.
Clang!
The blade stopped.
Its skull was far tougher than I had expected.
I gritted my teeth.
"Move!"
I poured every remaining drop of mana into Gravity Control.
If this attack failed...
I would have nothing left.
The weight of Eclipse increased dramatically.
Crack!
The giant spider’s defense finally gave way.
The blade slowly forced its way through the hardened skull.
The giant spider struggled violently, trying to throw me off its body.
For a brief moment, I thought I would lose my grip.
But I refused to let go.
With one final burst of strength, I drove Eclipse even deeper.
Crunch!
The blade pierced straight through its head.
For a brief moment...
Everything became silent.
Then...
The enormous body collapsed to the ground with a deafening crash, shaking the entire cavern.
The giant spider was finally dead.
"...I won."
The instant the battle ended, an overwhelming wave of exhaustion washed over me.
My vision blurred.
My body screamed in protest.
I nearly collapsed beside the giant spider.
Not far away, Amy instinctively took a step forward.
For a brief moment, it looked as though she was about to rush over.
But she stopped herself.
She had promised to let me finish this battle on my own.
So she simply watched in silence.
But...
I forced myself to stay standing.
The battle wasn’t over yet.
Several spiderlings were still alive.
Without their queen, they had become nothing more than mindless beasts.
They charged toward me without any coordination.
I gritted my teeth and raised Eclipse once more.
Even though every movement felt unbearably heavy...
I continued fighting.
One after another...
The remaining spiderlings fell beneath my sword.
No spells.
No tricks.
Only pure swordsmanship.
Finally...
The last spiderling collapsed.
Only then did I allow myself to relax.
I sat heavily on the ground, breathing as though every breath might be my last.
My mana was completely drained.
My body was covered in wounds.
Every muscle ached.
A moment later, Amy slowly walked over to me.

This is my first boss battle i wrote i hope it to your liking and i make sure gray use most of his abilities and don’t make boss easy
Mc is powerfull but not op i don’t like weak mc so gray gating more strong in the future but he doesn’t suppress all and becomes op
