After separating from the group, Carson Flores quietly made his way to the Dragon Mountain Sect.

Though his time with Floating Cloud was brief, Floating Cloud had treated him exceptionally well. Even though he could no longer identify as a Disciple of the Dragon Mountain Sect, it was only right to secretly bid farewell to his mentor.

Carson Flores let out a breath of relief: "That’s good. If my actions had implicated Master, I would feel guilty."

Floating Cloud looked gratified yet puzzled: "The Sea God Sect has received a warrant; why didn’t they act against you, but instead lent you the Pool of Will Power for cultivation?"

Carson Flores explained his relationships with Halvyr Briggs and Lorvian Randall, concluding with a chuckle: "Master, I’ll let you in on a secret; the current Sea God is your disciple’s wife..."
