Chapter 2225: Loves Drinking, Loves Drinking with Friends Even More!
Not sincere?
Carson Flores asked in surprise, "Brother Bai, why do you say that?"

Lucas White chuckled, "Even if I didnât make a move, the Great Luo Immortal from the Sect is only at the Illusion-Breaking Realm, and couldnât do anything to you. If that werenât the case, why would you remain calm and stay put when they appeared, instead of escaping right away?"
Carson didnât deny it. After all, who would stick around to die without some means of escape?
Denying it would be an insult to everyoneâs intelligence, wouldnât it?
Carson smiled openly, "I just found it annoying and wanted to curse them a bit."
Lucas White chuckled, "The strong ones donât dare provoke them. Those who are weaker, even if they suffer a loss, have to swallow their anger and donât dare speak up. Itâs my first time seeing a Heavenly Immortal withstand a Great Luo. Brother Lin, youâre truly gutsy."
Carson replied truthfully, "If I were alone, I would have just slipped away. In Mingxiang Valley, with so many powerful people, I thought if I stirred things up a bit, someone would definitely respond. So, I stayed a bit longer. Actually, if you were a few seconds later, I would have been out of there."
Lucas White admired Carsonâs bravery in taunting everyone, not minding stepping in himself. Instead, he quite respected Carsonâs courage: "Your words were more than just provocative; they were a slap to everyoneâs face. I donât know about others, but I was definitely stirred up."
"Of course, the reason I stepped in wasnât just because of your words but out of genuine admiration for your courage. After all, speaking like that offends not only the Sect but also many present here. Some narrow-minded ones might not want to provoke the Sect but could take it out on you."
Carson, of course, understood this, and nonchalantly laughed, "At most, Iâll just run away. If itâs really some incredible power, unless they have ties with the Sect, I donât believe theyâd attack me knowing Iâm the victim. Theyâre all big shots; whoâs willing to lose face in front of everyone?"
"Youâve got it all figured out, havenât you?"
Lucas White chuckled, "Regardless, Brother Lin, youâre incredibly heroic. I genuinely want to be friends, which is why I stepped in to help."
Carson readily said, "Iâll treat you to a drink!"
Lucas White smiled broadly, "I love drinking, and I love drinking with friends even more!"
Carson chuckled lightly, "Hold on a sec, my wife just went off to chase down the other two robbers. Sheâll be here soon."
Lucas White looked a bit surprised, "Youâre married?"
Carson didnât elaborate much, just smiled, "Yes."
The two didnât wait long before Selah Ellison Venerable One appeared, landing lightly by Carsonâs side, her gaze slightly curious, "Honey, who is this?"
Carson introduced them with a smile and recounted what had just happened, finally saying, "Letâs go. Weâll find a place, make some good food, and have a drink."
Selah Ellison Venerable One smiled, "Alright, itâs time to indulge again."
Lucas Whiteâs eyes lit up, "Brother Lin can cook?"
Carson modestly said, "I can cook, but as for the taste, I wouldnât boast about it."
Lucas White laughed heartily, "Iâm looking forward to it!"
The three found a place with beautiful scenery, and Carson set up a table and chairs, took out his cookware, along with a collection of rare ingredients, and began to cook.
Carsonâs culinary skills in the Mortal Realm were just above average, certainly not comparable to professional chefs. However, along the way, Carson figured out many good dishes by combining precious ingredients from the Immortal Realm with cooking methods from the Mortal Realm.
Carson hadnât even taken out his wine yet when Lucas White had already produced a jar of wine, smiling, "You bring the food, Iâll bring the wine. This is a treasured wine aged in Profound Ice from the Wine Immortal Sect, one of their sectâs prized possessions. Come, have a taste!"
Carson laughed as he brought out the Immortal Wine brewed by the Ancestor Dragon, smiling, "I have a jar too. It was brewed by an elder from the Dragon Clan. By a stroke of luck, I acquired a pot. Use a borrowed flower to present to Buddha, you have a taste too!"
Lucas White laughed heartily, "Sure, I love drinking, and one of my life goals is to taste all the fine wines in the world. Today, I get to try another one."
Carson poured Lucas White a cup, smiling, "This wine has quite a kick."
Lucas White also poured two cups from the wine he brought, smiling, "You should try this wine too."
Carson smiled, "This wine is from the Wine Immortal Sect. Just hearing the name, it must be good wine, something ordinary people canât possibly taste."
Lucas White chuckled, "Thatâs right. This wine, let alone outsiders, most of their own people canât even drink. Only the core senior members might get a taste. It contains not just one or two kinds of Immortal Elixirs, making it invaluable and rare. Usually, they gift it as a precious offering..."
Carson curiously asked, "Then how did you get this wine?"
"I stole it."
Lucas White laughed heartily, "I sneaked into their wine cellar and snatched a few jars of their most precious wine..."
