Several streaks of fire shot up from the hidden spots in the surrounding mountains, instantly interweaving and then, like the Milky Way of the Nine Heavens, rolling back down.

Endless flames instantly engulfed this range, as if it had suddenly transformed into a hundred-mile Flame Mountain.

Within the flames, a Phoenix soared up, elegantly dancing, and with the sound of its cry, it dove toward a group of the Barbarian Tribe.

The eyes of the five barbarian men and women were filled with flames as if they were in Purgatory, the intense heat assaulting them, threatening to burn their bodies and melt their souls!

A trap!

The leader, Vaelor Boyd, shouted loudly, a burst of Golden Light erupting from him. At the same time, the cap of the black gourd he carried on his back suddenly opened, and black water spewed out.

The black water, upon touching the flames, created a surge of steam, temporarily fending off the onslaught of fire.

"It’s a trap, retreat quickly!"

Vaelor Boyd led everyone to retreat, but before they’d taken two steps, the Phoenix Fire Spirit already lunged at them, catching up to one of the slower barbarian men.

He let out an agonizing scream, and the amulet on him exploded, his armor melted into molten iron, and his body was instantly charred to coal.

Witnessing the death of his comrade, Vaelor Boyd screamed angrily, "Cowardly and despicable, do you dare to face me in a duel!"

No one responded.

Vaelor Boyd gritted his teeth, black water gushing out of the gourd, forcibly dousing a safe passage through the flames. They raced through the passage, but before they could exit the fire zone, a serpent shadow lunged at them to bite.

The Formation trapped them. How could Niall Sinclair and Samir Coffey let them escape so easily?

The cry of the Phoenix resounded once again, the Phoenix Fire Spirit soared up within the flames, lunging toward them once more.

Outside the Formation, an Ice Dragon lay coiled in midair, glaring at the Formation, poised to strike.

Within the Formation, Carson Flores was enveloped in flames, his eyes burning like Fire Eyes, his entire being like a Demon God of flames, emerging from Hell.

Vaelor Boyd and his companions gazed at the fiery Vespar-like Carson Flores, their hearts filled with dread.

The Way of Fire!

No wonder this guy led them into the Formation so recklessly, then instantly activated it, imprisoning them all in the blazing inferno. It turned out he practiced the Fire Path, completely unafraid of fire!

Carson Flores lifted his eyes to the nearest male barbarian, a line of fire like burning laser rapidly surged toward him.

True Solar Fire!

Concentrating and compressing True Solar Fire into a thin line, its ultra-high temperature could melt and cut through all obstacles, even steel would be seamlessly sliced apart by this blazing streak.

The barbarian man was fully focused on the approaching Phoenix Fire Spirit, but by the time he noticed Carson Flores, the fire line had already reached him.

The fire line showed no pause, like a red-hot blade easily slicing into a block of solid butter, instantly shattering the Golden Light Barrier on him, then cutting through his armor, and across his body, neatly splitting him in two.

The second barbarian man, dead!

The Eight Desolation Fire Spirit Formation was immensely powerful; if not for Vaelor Boyd continuously dispelling the Phoenix Fire with the black water from his gourd, everyone would have long been burned to death.

Seeing Carson Flores kill another, panic instantly filled their hearts.

Under such a fierce Flame Array, they had to exert all their strength just to fend off the flames. But with the Phoenix Fire Spirit in the fire, the Carson Flores like a Fire God, and Niall Sinclair and Samir Coffey ready to strike outside the Formation, it all formed a prison of death, trapping them all.

Death was approaching step by step!

Vaelor Boyd knew that if this continued, everyone would die here. He took out a magical treasure resembling a skull, cutting his palm open, then pressing it directly onto the skull.

The skull seemed to come to life, frantically sucking Vaelor Boyd’s blood, its hollow eye sockets flaring up with ghostly flames, eerie and sinister.

The skull emitted light, enveloping Vaelor Boyd and the remaining three, then as if the space was collapsing, they began to implode toward the skull’s position.

Just as Vaelor Boyd and the three were about to vanish into the void, a fiery line like a laser swept past, instantly cutting across a barbarian woman’s neck, silently causing her head to fall off.

"Whoosh!"

Vaelor Boyd and the last barbarian’s bodies twisted as if they were paper, instantly disappearing into the spacetime collapsed point.

Carson Flores flicked out a palm; the True Solar Fire enfolded the barbarian woman’s head, instantly reducing it to ashes.

Carson Flores casually collected the tags of the three, shut off the Formation’s projection above with a gesture, and let out a breath.

Although two escaped, they’d killed three, obtaining four tags—counting the previous two, they now had six tags.

Out of the two hundred and fifty barbarian participants, Carson Flores and his companions had killed six, and this was just the beginning!
