The group of deity disciples appearing at Yongning Valley Ghost Market weren’t weak, displaying many extraordinary methods!

However, Chen Mengze possessed the vitality of a Nascent Soul Realm Cultivator, donned a magic robe and inner armor, and wielded martial arts honed through a cultivation career, more than enough to handle them without Shen Mo’s intervention.

Within the time of a stick of incense, these deity disciples were all slain by Chen Mengze.

Only then did the villagers completely let down their guard.

On the fifth day of Shen Mo and Chen Mengze’s stay in the unnamed mountain village, after repelling another wave of deity disciples, they were invited by the village leader, well into his seventies.

"Leader Ma invited us over, for what reason?"

"Are the two benefactors cultivators from another world?" Leader Ma was no longer evasive and asked directly.

Though it was a simple question, it contained a lot of crucial information.

Shen Mo and Chen Mengze were slightly taken aback, exchanging glances and seeing a trace of excitement in each other’s eyes, then smiled and nodded, admitting to their origins.

"Ma Hengzhong, the 765th generation disciple of the Godslayer Palace, pays respects to the two Immortal Masters!" Leader Ma’s face was filled with ecstatic joy, and he immediately tried to bow deeply to them.

Chen Mengze stepped forward to help him up, smiling and saying, "Leader Ma finally admits his household’s identity. According to what you said, this so-called Godslayer Palace was a sect force established by outsiders like the two of us in this world?"

Leader Ma, after sitting down and calming his mind, gradually explained the information he knew.
