The Former Hero Wants To Lead An Ordinary Life

120. Brave Men Are Infiltrated Preliminary

I slip down the dim stairs carefully without making any footsteps.

Whether it has a person sensing sensor or not, the light on the wall lights up tightly as I go along and act as a waterfront conductor. The technology of this world without magic is somewhere magical and strange.

The portrayed doors of the magic formations were not just directly connected to the guild. On the contrary, no hallway or room existed, only the staircase leading to the basement was perforated on the floor by a black hole.

I just didn't think that a bright healthy space was beyond the door, but my body tightened naturally to the creeps that kept me more secret than I could imagine. I felt like I had been invited into the other world even though I had only separated one door.

Striking concrete walls with no flavor or chill even give it a chill. No place is like this school united by sophisticated design, it is a murderous landscaped interior you want. Temperatures have also risen recently, and even today I felt chilly dressed just for weaving a thin hoodie, even though my uniform jacket and ties are so cheerful that I was depressed during the day.

Still, the option not to go ahead in me didn't even float the shards.

As I cut down the stairs after several dance venues, I went out into the aisle about the width with my hands spread out.

The display of the number of floors was nowhere, but I think it came down for more than the first floor.

It is not popular in the aisle either, and the lights with sensing sensors still go on and on.

The sunglasses for the disguise had been removed on the way down the stairs. Because the light was low and I didn't allow it. Even out in the aisle it was similar, and the light seemed to have dropped to the brink. … it is a subtlety whether it is energy saving or simply wants to create an atmosphere.

The passage, though it was the main road, was made as if it were a maze.

Walk straight, break the ram to the right, turn 180 degrees around, separate one wall and go back again. I repeated that journey.

Following that, the signs of the Demon King are approached or distant.

If I looked at it another way, it seemed like an ingenuity to keep the person from knowing his current location on purpose.

In fact, it turns out to me that it's only because I can feel the signs of the Demon King approaching me a little bit that I'm moving on to the central wing of the dorm, but without it, sometimes it means underground, and I had no idea where I was headed, and it should have been difficult to even figure out which part of the school I'm in right now.

(No... you were in the Seven Wonders of the School my brother said...)

Sure, "there's an underground labyrinth on the school grounds"?

I thought it was a common gusset story anyway, but... apparently it was real.

Seven Wonders also said, "There is a key hidden in the school for the resurrection of the Demon King".

I enrolled because that bothered me in the first place...

Instead of the keys, there was the Demon King himself.

Even the Holy Sword appears.

When this happens, other Seven Wonders don't seem like the kind of stuff that's common in schools.

(What's the other five...?

Sure, what about Seylane, what about the phantom dorm, what about the garden, and then... in the temple of God...

- Doors to different worlds.

I felt a slight chill in the words that came to my mind.

I want to blame it on the temperature underground, and I rub my arms off. I should have made it a thicker hoodie. In fact, even as we were down the stairs, the cold air increased as we went down.

Is it also a precautionary implication that the doors painted by the magic formation blocked the way ahead while proceeding down the aisle?

No, I'm more and more suspicious about making it tough. It is as if one of the worms could not pass.

What the hell is a guild that is protected by so much confidentiality and security...

Pushed back also by the simple curiosity of wanting to know, he unlocks the door that inhibits his way with a card key he forcefully loaned, and triumphs through them all.

When I started to wonder if there really was an exit ahead of me, I finally got to the door that seemed like the last one.

Speaking of how I found out that was the last door, it was simply because I heard multiple mixed voices leaking out of the other side of the door, and the lights were leaking from the gap of the door into the slightly dim passage.

I felt a lot walked this far, but when I checked the time, it was actually only a few minutes away.

The sign of the Demon King lies ahead.

Which means that the maze passage ended up connecting to the basement of the central building, as I expected.

I even left my card key on the last door.

The slight tremor in the fingertips holding the card must have been due to the cold.

- If the cane students had reported me breaking inside, it wouldn't be strange if this entrance and exit were already under siege.

In that case, I was going to break through the enclosure by imitating it somewhat rough.

... of course, I understand that that is reckless behavior.

I'm weak now.

- As the cleric said in his dream, he's just a human being with no weapons and no power.

You can get caught lightly and make things unnecessarily worse by ignoring the deputy chief's stop.

In the end, maybe it's just self-satisfaction.

Yet.

Even though I know it by my head,

... Until then I wonder myself trying to get to the Demon King.

Somehow, I remember when I was at the Lodge of Mountain Learning.

I feel like I'm waiting.

- Ever.

He wants me to pick him up.

The sound of unlocking sounds small in the cold passage.

With difficult thoughts to analyze, I threw away the slightest stray that plundered my mind, and I crept through the last door.

Luckily -, the guild guys were waiting by hand across the door, and it didn't happen that they were quickly surrounded, caught,... But I was left in the open space in front of me, and I often stood up to it.

The Alliance was an unexpected place that didn't fit any of my supposed patterns.

A lively electronic noise is heard in the spacious hall, and light music plays from the speakers installed everywhere. And on the floor with slightly less light and more flair, it was buzzing with those playing arcade games.

If you can, it was like a game specific indoor theme park there.

There are a number of attraction game-like booths lined up at the wall.

From what I've seen, most of the booths look like VR (Virtual Reality) games.

A player was playing with a goggle-like headset on his head.

Many other games are of the type where the sensor senses and plays the movement of the body, which is noticeable.

Apparently, the types of games are mainly based on a collection of Battles. Shooting games such as wielding a controller like a sword pattern to defeat a monster that appears on the game screen or hitting a target with a gun controller stand out. Some players had armbands on their arms and were waving their hands in the air.

Most of the game booths were filled and some of them were so hectic that they were waiting. They are eagerly watching the game screen even as they wait.

Virtual game-like screens are also shown near the center of the floor, on huge screens suspended from high ceilings, and the voices of excitement sometimes rise from the spectator seats lined with chairs and tables. Some of them were quite enthusiastic.

The spectators and game players dress differently. Each one of them watches the game in elaborate outfits, or is obsessed with the game himself as a player, with wizard-style outfits that are all about adventurous outfits and robes, something else that looks like a knightly outfit, military clothes that special forces seem to be wearing, clothes with laces that flicker when they do.

Of course, there was a mix of students inside who still wore regular personal clothes and school uniforms like me, and there was no sense of unity at all. In it the disguise of hood on the mask is a fairly plain category. It's so plain that it seems to stand out in reverse that it worries me a little. Nevertheless...

(... this is the guild...?

What a subtle feeling when the surprise left.

... What the hell is a guild...

(Is this a gathering of gamers?

It's a little... or quite different from what I had imagined.

I thought it was an old-fashioned, fantastic organization in so many ways that there was such a thing as a magic leader unit, but when it comes to VR games, it's an area that uses cutting-edge technology, - the opposite in a way.

"We're adventurers!

The orange-head who came to the scouts told me so exaltedly.

I see,... I'm sure they're "adventurous" as the word goes.

In the virtual world of games...

However, if that's what you mean… apart from previous lives, I've been on an adventure journey to get a monster in my pocket, too. When I was in elementary school and elsewhere, I had "adventures" like every day with Uchi. Incidentally, there will be such "adventurers" all over Japan, young and old alike. Rather full of adventurers...

It stands out without standing at the entrance and exit forever, so I even step out on the floor looking like a member of the guild. In this case, I'm extra suspicious if I have an odd attitude. It's harder to find out to behave in a grand manner.

Fortunately, they still didn't seem to know I broke in.

Someone, in particular, didn't blame me, and I succeeded in getting confused by the students on the floor.

If I had been surrounded right out the door, I might have been caught lightly while I was surprised by the reality of the guild.

(I can't believe there's such a facility in the basement of the school... There's no way I can make it bigger, and... there's a warrant.)

In a slightly grumpy mood, I walk carefully observing the floors full of sound.

I didn't see the demon king on the floor. The signs are still a little far. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that easy.

There were multiple doors in the hall besides the one I came in.

Probably one of those doors leads to where the Demon King is. I guess I have to figure that out first......

It cannot be determined that the door closest to the sign of the Demon King is necessarily the right one.

Because I can also think of it if beyond the door it is like the intrusive maze that I have just come through.

But even though I thought about it, I couldn't think of any other effective handsets.

(Do I have to try it from one end...)

He gave up early and walked out in a direction that showed signs of the Demon King even as he got a little fed up with the length of the journey.

On the way across the floor towards you, however, a word of interest popped into my ear from the receptionist, so I pause subtly by pretending to look at the central screen.

Several receptionists sat face-to-face on the screen, at the lower counter on the wall, hitting the guild member's response.

It is a face-to-face desk there like a bureau, and it seems to sit on the chair and deal with them individually.

There was someone at the reception counter who was eating and hanging from the staff.

"What do you mean," secret little room "is in use...!

He was a guild member in private clothing with a deep casket hat on his sunglasses.

... slightly wearing my disguise. Glad I left my sunglasses off, somehow.

"You had an appointment, not a week ago."

"Sorry, you're going to have to reschedule"

"Are you kidding me... how excited I was about this day..."

The staff apologized again, seemingly sorry for the regrettable casket hat.

"Sorry…"

"Who...! The guy who took it...! I ranked you up because of it!

"It is… a decision not to reveal the name of the user…"

"I have to complain to the guy who sidelined me. I'm sorry."

"Even if they say so..."

There were deficiencies on the staff side, and the casket hat was just a momentum to grasp.

("Secret little room" is definitely the one the panda masks said...?

It still looks like this is definitely Guild HQ.

I thought it would be, but the suspicion remained that it was actually a completely separate facility because it was too different from what I had imagined.

Third party voices then broke into the scene with disturbing signs.

"Excuse me, Mr. Rosen. The Alliance Master really wants to use the Secret Room today, so we quickly responded there. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience."

The casket hat that was entangled in the staff looked at another staff revealed from the back and gave a surprise.

"Mi... Mi... eh"

- Mr. Michi?

"Michi, you can't reveal the user..."

"On a case-by-case basis, right? Decisions are important, but so is the trust of our members."

That said, I was also surprised at the figure standing next to the staff I was dealing with.

(............... Made to be)

"Michi," who appeared in response to a complaint from the back, smiles at the casket hat that was grinning and cutely turned into a kramer.

"Rebooking will be taken as a priority. Also, to apologize for the inconvenience, we will optionally extend the time."

The casket hat was not the only thing that made me blush in love with her like she was smiling at her poor smile.

The staff who handled the reception, as well as all the adventure-style members who happened to be on the street, were all taken by Chan's smile. Awesome power.
