The Former Witch Reincarnated as A Village Girl

9 Stories: Enemy in the Woods

After playing with Moffy, Shatia quickly headed to the village chief's house. Then there was a crowd there for some reason, and I looked inside and there was a man of every knight. He was also taking his people with him, and it was as if he were going to fight somewhere from now on.

I did visit to thank you before, so there must be no such thing as a village anymore. Shatia asked about the knights as she leaned back and neck.

"Then you say the witch is resurrected?

"It's not decided yet. But according to the sightings, he appears to be in the area. We're investigating, but I want you to be very careful."

Somehow the knight and the village chief were discussing it with a harsh face, and it was an atmosphere where they could not pinch their mouths. And in response to the word witch, Shatia lurked her pickles and eyebrows.

Every Barbasa ritual ended in failure. Therefore, the witch should not be resurrected. Why does the word witch come up? Shatia asks for the look of the knight. It didn't look very much like you were lying.

"Well, now I..."

"Uh-huh. That the spirits of the village will not be protected."

And when the story was finished, the knight wore a helmet and left the village with his companions. The villagers were somehow stained with an uneasy look, and the village chief's face didn't even float. Having heard the word witch, Shatia feels like she's hooked on something and doesn't interpret it. In the meantime, Shatia went to the village chief who was inside the house to serve her original purpose.

"Village chief, what about the people earlier?

"Oh, Shatia? The knight from the other day... I'm not sure yet, but there's a witch and a witch around here."

As always, Chateau, who does not change her attitude towards people, but who has known her for a long time, welcomed Chateau without showing how she cared otherwise. And he began to speak the words that the knight had come to preach earlier.

"Is that solid information?

"Witches and thinkers, that's all. The knights are investigating to make sure of it."

Anything earlier, the knights were asked to investigate on orders from the state after hearing reports that a witchy figure had appeared. It was therefore not yet known whether the rumor was true, nor did the village chief know it in depth. But it wasn't something that could flow lightly. Anyway, the witch of my countrymen may be alive. If it's true, I'm not going to be jittery here.

"That and the other thing, the demons seem to be moving too. I don't know if the witch's rumors are the reason... but we need to be careful not to go outside for a while."

"Demons...... you say?

Shatia opened her eyes in surprise at the unexpected words coming out.

Races hostile to humans, demons. It is a race with high physical abilities and mighty magic, and lives in what is called the Dark Continent. It's a creature that doesn't differ from a human being whose race is just different from that of a witch, but for some reason humans and demons have been fighting for a long time.

Such demons are near the village around this border. That was a terrible thing from the villagers. When it comes to Barbasa, the village has been making too much noise lately. Now, if the witches were to be resurrected, the villagers would be confused.

Shatia narrowed her eyes and thought about what to do.

"What I felt was the magic of my countrymen? … or…"

Shatia remembers the signs she felt earlier as she laid her hand on her chin. Something unpleasant, dreary, resentful. Then I felt like I missed something. I don't know if that's because it belonged to my countrymen's witches. But Shathia thought this was something she had to look into herself.

Shathia decided to go outside the village immediately. Fortunately, I told my mother I would play with Moffy today, so she wouldn't find out if I just properly lied to Moffy. I made sure that Shatia hadn't been seen by anyone before quickly popping out of the village with floating magic.

Although he jumped out, Shatia didn't know where to go. It's fragmentary to say I felt an unpleasant sign, and I don't know from which direction I felt it. I don't know the details of the knights, so I can't count on them. So what should we do? Shatia stepped down into the woods once, haunting her head.

"Well, where did you get that from?

Thought as he slapped his head tonnes with his fingers, Fu Shatia felt the signs of the earlier knights. Apparently, he's investigating the woods around here with his crew. Then maybe I can meet the witch if I follow them. With that in mind, Shatia killed the signs and headed toward where the knights were, dispersed in the grass.

"Suppose we follow the knights first? Well, if you run into a witch, you can pass out, so there won't be a problem."

Shatia cautiously followed them after he captured the knight's appearance in his sight. I almost hooked my legs to the roots of the tree from time to time, but thanks to floating magic, I was spared making noises.

Apparently, the knights didn't know the exact location of the witches, and they were searching for them by hand. Shatia felt disturbing magic from afar when Shatia thought so while she was stretching, wondering if there was any need to go with this.

For a moment I thought it belonged to the witch. Shatia dressed up reflexively, but when I often explored the signs, it was different. It's another, more malicious, disastrous magic. Shatia exhales small when she feels it.

"Signs of the devil tribe... are you near here? Hmm, I guess I'll just keep my face on."

It might be a good idea to put them in contact to see what the Demons' purpose is. If their purpose were to be witches, they would have to think a lot about coping. That's how Shatia took her gaze off the knights and used her floating magic to get out onto the woods. Head in the direction where the demons are and use hallucinogenic magic along the way. Becoming an adult the other day, Shatia stepped down into the woods where the demons were.

"Hey, hey, guys. It's a beautiful day."

"!?... who is it?!? Where did it come from!!

There were several demons with black cloaks.

They all had red eyes on their blue skin, producing devil-specific wings and tails. Leader-like woman among them. A sharp, eyed woman with dark hair in a single room and a skinny sword down her waist confronted Shatia.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to surprise you. I'm a little traveler. I just happened to get by."

"... you don't think anything of what we look like?

When Shatia appropriately said so, the demonic woman asked casually as she squeezed her cape tightly. Apparently, it means we're demons, but why are we having such a mean reaction? Shatia answered with her finger against her mouth, tilting her neck.

"Are you calling yourselves demons? Hate me. I've seen people like you many times. It's even more amazing than that... if I'm surprised at all, I don't have a spark."

In fact, Shatia had also met the Demons, sometimes hostile. That's all Shatia has another history, and there's nothing to say about it now that we have a few demons in front of us. The demonic woman opened her eyes a little surprised when she answered yes. The sharpness disappears more than earlier, and only a little alertness is lifted.

"... it doesn't seem like you've come to defeat us."

"Of course. I don't want to waste my magic. I'm just here to have a little public talk."

Shatia hates contention more than she did before. Shathia communicated her requirements as she raised her arms to show that she was irresistible. The demonic woman was still anxiously letting her hand touch the sword, but eventually she sighed small and let go of her hand.

"Are you all right, Captain? Just us..."

"Don't. You can't take this guy down. Don't you get it? His magic power..."

One Demon man advanced that way by earing at a Demon woman, but the Demon woman said so after putting her hands out and letting the man back down.

The demonic woman had felt a tingling sensation on her skin since earlier. Overwhelming magic flowing from the chateau. Most of all, the actual strength is as high as a demonic woman thinks, because even its flowing magic is the amount that Shatia suppresses and leaks.

"Shall we talk?

"I heard the wind rumors brought the witch back... and I was interested in seeing it. You know anything about that?

Finally, a demonic woman asked, and Shatia answered that as she twisted her own hair.

In the meantime, I ask about the witch. That's why the Demons are here. There's no problem if you just get the information on the worst witches and get ahead of them. That's what Shatia had in mind.

Demonic women didn't react as well when they heard the word witch. Are you hiding it, or don't you really know it? Shatia couldn't spot that.

"Come on...... you don't know. I've never heard of a witch coming back to life. If that's the truth, it's terrible."

"Kukukuk, even demons fear witches?

"Oh, I'm a disaster. We can't even handle it."

Unsurprisingly, Shatia asked back because a demonic woman said such a weak thing. Then this time the word disaster popped up, and Shatia deplored how dangerous they witches were from other races.

"Well... that's sad."

Shatia let her face down and zeroed that word really sadly. But as soon as he wakes up, he returns to his normal expression and disguises himself so that nothing is understood by the demons.

That's what I knew. Witches are callers of disaster. Few understand the witch who is heretic. Shatia thought that if she could laugh like Emerald at a time like this.

"Um, thanks. That's all I have to do... By the way, why are you demons in these woods?

Clapping his hands with bread, Shatia told him that she was done with her errands and asked insignificantly what the demons were up to. Shatia asks as she moves her legs so that she's not even interested in leaving right now. Then the demonic woman opened her mouth as she paid for the hair hanging on her forehead.

"What good is it for us to tell you that?

"... Kuk, you don't. No, sorry. I'm sorry. It was wild. I was just wondering."

Oh, and Shatia dropped her shoulder unfortunately. Apparently, demonic women are stronger than Shatia thought. I don't think this is tasty to stay long, and Shatia really starts to turn around trying to leave. But he turned his face around, and at the end of the day Shatia asked what was in the devil's woman.

"So just one last thing, can you just tell me your name?

I don't know if I'll ever see her again, but Shatia asked me if I could find out the names of the demonic women alone. Though I didn't name myself, I thought it was a good story about bugs, but Shatia wanted a name for a demonic woman because she could use another pseudonym.

The Demonic woman now opened her eyes unexpectedly and slowly looked up when she let her face down to think a little, giving her an answer.

"It's Sherris."

Hearing Sherris, a demonic woman's answer, Shatia leaked her words satisfactorily. I don't know if it's my real name, but I think it's a good name, and yeah it makes me nod my neck.

"Well, that's a really good name. Okay, Sherris. I'll see you when the edge meets."

Shatia said so, and now it's time to run out and leave the scene. Some of the demons later tried to chase him, but Shatia fled to the sky with floating magic, so the demons, who immediately lost sight of him, looked around questionably.
