The Former Witch Reincarnated as A Village Girl

Talk 23: Things I've been waiting for in the vault

A visit to the Royal Palace is a dream experience for the students of the School of Magic. A number of special class magic books are stored in the vault beneath the Royal Palace, and the library has so much information that it cannot be compared to the school's objects. It was like a golden treasure for the children, even if they were not allowed to touch it, just to see it.

Shatia was also shining her eyes at them in a different way. The former set of students at Raegis' rate visit the Royal Palace, and Shatia walks down the aisle with Liika. The walls were decorated with giant paintings, and every time she saw them, Liika was breathtaking and blinded. Not even that Yancha Leo talks a word, staring at the soldiers passing by.

Raygis had them gather near him once he brought the Shathiers to the hall. Reigis invites everyone to be careful not to raise their voices. The students gathered nervously in the sights around them.

"Then it shall be free time. The only floor allowed to visit is the one connected to the hall. Don't make a scene... then dissolve"

Raegis, who usually speaks out loud, also lowered his voice as much as he could, explaining so in the critical volume he could hear the students.

When it was free time to say Royal Palace to a boulder, the child was a creature that would be freed as soon as possible, and each went to the floor of his choice at the same time as Laigis said it was dissolved. Shatia also tilts her neck as she stares at the students flowing like the river.

"Shatia, she said that only some of the bookshelves in the library are being freed. Why don't you take a look with me?

"Uhm...... I'm certainly interested. Let's go."

Lika, who approached me, told me about the information she had heard from Raygis, and Shatia nodded at it with interest.

Then the two headed to the library. The library was set up everywhere with bookshelves as if in the woods, with high ceilings and bookshelves on one side of the wall. Liika was turning her eyes because it was lightly built like a labyrinth.

They took the book when they headed to the shelf, where only part of it was allowed to be viewed. I didn't know what it said on Lika, and all the descriptions I thought were interesting to Shatia, although they seemed to have a pungent content.

"Wow, that's the library of the Royal Stone Palace... it's not the size of a school."

"You've got some interesting books stored inside. I want to read everything."

Lika took a breath of admiration for the neat facilities of the Royal Palace's library and let her eyes shine with a careful touch of the books that Shatia also kept.

Even if it's part of it, it's packed with information that's well worth it. I would have reached out to all the books if I were a regular chattier. But she put up with it and gently put the book back where it was.

"Hey Liika, Shatia. They're holding a special royal court briefing over there. Why don't you take a look?

"Leo, you."

Leo appeared from the side, inviting him to do so, still wearing bossy hair. Apparently, it's a special briefing for the students at the School of Magic, and you can hear interesting things. Lika also seemed interested and her gaze was slightly moving that way. Shatia thinks this is just fine and nods small.

"Let's not shy away. Lika, come with Leo."

"Uh... but Shatia...?

"I'll look around a little bit more. Have fun."

That's what I said and pushed Lika's back, and Shatia was half forced to take Lika to Leo. Lika looked anxious somewhere, but switched hands just as Shatia smiled and waved. And after I lost sight of the two of them, Shatia sighs small.

"Well... suppose we start"

The girl's expression turns into something dangerous. Shatia moved on to the plan in order to serve her purpose as a witch.

The structure of the royal palace is already in my head after a downward examination. Shatia first traveled in hiding with signs blocking magic, aiming for a passage leading to the basement where the vault was located. Naturally, there is a floor where students are not allowed to stop by, but the chattier reaches the floor without anyone noticing. There was a door there and it was locked. But Shatia magically unlocked the key, and went down the aisle that leads to the basement fine.

It was about time the blue and white light lit the entire aisle, despite the dimness. Probably a magical effect. It has an eerie atmosphere and feels chilly. As Château advanced to the back, he arrived in front of one door. A huge door that looks harshly stiff and closed. It is not locked, but instead it is sealed with special magic. Probably to prevent you from entering without permission.

Shatia narrowed her eyes to ascertain its magical structure. Very simple sealing magic from the witch's girlfriend. It was as simple magic as using a key instead. But her expression is not excellent.

"It's easy to disarm, but don't feel magic ahead of you. From the reaction, is that a magic weapon? Well, let me break through."

I feel a little magic coming from behind the door. Besides, it's a different kind of magic than a normal human source. Shathia guessed it was a magic weapon. It's a vault, but I thought it was about one or two of the guards, but I didn't think there was a magic weapon lurking. Shatia looked troublesome but didn't go to pull it off, unsealing the magic and opening the door.

Ahead was truly a different world. Unlike the library, it doesn't have countless bookshelves, it just has a lot of space. But what I saw in my eyes were books moving around like circles in front of me.

Countless books gather and spin like a single sphere. It was as if the creature was moving, and Shatia wondered why the book was moving like this. But I don't care about that now. What mattered was the acquisition of human body generating magic, and I felt a certain anomaly when I stepped in thinking so.

"This is..."

Some strange object was placed on the way down the aisle leading to countless books. It was a man-shaped magic weapon wrapped in giant armor, commonly known as the Golem. But the odd thing is that the Golem is not standing to protect the book, and the Golem is falling on the spot with a big hole in his chest. It's like someone attacked you.

"A magic weapon... already destroyed?

Shatia groaned so, letting her voice wave like she was uncommonly upset.

If you look closely, not only is there a falling golem, but there is also a golem with pieces of armor destroyed and hands and feet blown apart. Obviously there must have been some kind of battle in the vault. But why on earth? Shatia couldn't understand what was going on and stood there flashly.

Something's wrong. Maybe there's an intruder besides myself. There is no magic reaction, so I may have escaped already, but I am certain that something is wrong. Shatia retightened her mind and first walked across the golem to countless books in an attempt to achieve her purpose.

"Don't have a bad feeling... it's like you knew I was coming"

Somewhere, Shatia felt like this status quo was something she had prepared for herself. Too much is done. Whoever destroyed the Golem did not destroy the vault, nor did he appear to have stolen any important magic books. So what was the aim? I don't see that.

Shatia searched for a human-generated magic book to serve her primary purpose anyway. Look up at the countless flying books and narrow your eyes quietly. And by intuition, I perceived which book was what, and the book came down from the other side gently holding hands. Take it, Shatia slowly opens the book and turns the page.

"... ugh."

The first page is a note about this magic. Only authorized persons should see this book, or only ordinary advice is written that they should be very careful when using it. But from the next page, it was all blank. No matter how many sheets you turn, it doesn't say anything about human body production. And when I turned to the last page, there was a letter there that Shatia couldn't miss.

- "The wisdom fell to the ground".

Handwritten, that letter that someone left behind. Shatia remembered herself in the letter. But I can't remember. Tilt your neck and twist your head.

When I checked the other magic books, I thought that some of them had been replaced with blank paper. After all, there are people who came here before themselves, defeated the Golem, and replaced the Book of Magic. Besides, I know I exist.

It is a far-fetched matter. Shatia decided she needed to disperse once feeling lightly irritated. And I looked back, and at the same time I felt a strong magic reaction from up there. Go on. I hear something that sounds like ground. Thinking something was wrong, Shatia quickly went back the way she came. Run up the stairs and return to the floor as if nothing had happened. And there the students of the school and the other tourists were screaming and fleeing.

"Wowwwwww!!

"Yay, oh my god! The Golem has gone wild!!

People are running towards the exit screaming like that. And behind it were several golems wrapped around the armor that were also found in the vault, destroying walls and columns as they glowed red in their eyes. Obviously not a normal move. It was as if someone was manipulating me.

"Heh... you did it"

Shatia squeaks so as she makes her expression rude.

Perhaps this must also be the work of those who stole the magic book. It's enough to manipulate the Golem of the Royal Palace, so an extra skilled magician must be holding back. Shatia shook her head sideways like she was tired.

"We have to help the Likas first. The search for the killer... will make you regret everything you've done to bring the witch to life."

Shatia smiled as intricately as she was angry and said so. Magic ahead of your hand and confront the golems coming towards you.

First of all, first gate. Defeat the Golems while keeping the people here safe.
