Chapter 8: Tonight, I’ll Take His Place and Consummate the Marriage with You
Qin Fei’Er hadn’t told anyone about Li Qiang and Lin Xiaowei’s marriage.
For one, she was afraid of losing face.
For another, Li Qiang’s condition made it difficult to hold a proper wedding ceremony.
But it was, after all, a joyous wedding day. If it were just the three of them, it would feel far too quiet. So, she came up with the idea of asking Chenyang to help liven things up.
Creating a bit of atmosphere would keep her son and daughter-in-law’s wedding night from being too bleak.
What she didn’t know, however, was that for Chenyang, her request was a godsend.
Chenyang had long wanted to get his revenge on Li Qiang face-to-face.
He had been looking for an opportunity ever since he walked through the door.
Now, with Qin Fei’Er’s invitation, the opportunity was being handed to him on a silver platter.
According to Yang City customs, only unmarried young men were allowed to haze the newlyweds in their bridal chamber.
This meant that during the hazing, Qin Fei’Er, as the groom’s mother, would not be allowed in the room.
When the time came, Chenyang could exact his revenge in any way he pleased.
’In his mind, on a joyous day like this, the best way to get revenge on Li Qiang was, without a doubt, to viciously take his beautiful new wife right in front of him.’
The thought of Lin Xiaowei’s gorgeous face, her graceful body, and the seductive way she’d looked while writhing beneath him made Chenyang’s blood race. He wished he could drag her into the bridal chamber this very instant.
"Xiaochen?"
Seeing that Chenyang hadn’t spoken, Qin Fei’Er assumed he was reluctant. She stepped forward, her voice tinged with pleading. "I know this is very sudden, but you know my son’s condition. The fact that Xiaowei agreed to marry him is a blessing from our ancestors."
"We couldn’t have a big celebration during the day, but at least with me around to talk, it wasn’t too lonely. But tonight, if there’s no excitement, no festive atmosphere... she’ll feel terrible facing the paralyzed Qiangqiang. He’s my only son, and I’m counting on him and Weiwei to continue our family line. So please, just consider this your auntie begging you, you..."
"Auntie, I never said no. I was just worried your son and daughter-in-law might not want me to participate in the hazing. That’s why I didn’t answer right away."
"Oh, they won’t mind. My son has always loved a good time; he’d be thrilled to have someone help create a festive atmosphere. As for my daughter-in-law, she might be a little resistant, but I’ll talk to her. I’ll explain that it’s a Yang City custom. The bridal chamber *has* to be hazed, and the rowdier, the better—it symbolizes a prosperous and lively future. She can’t refuse tradition."
"As long as they’re okay with it. In that case, I’ll definitely do my best to liven things up for them later."
"Thank you so much," Qin Fei’Er said with a smile. "I’m entrusting this to you, then. I’m going to start dinner now. Later, I’ll be sure to toast you a few times."
"Alright. I’ll go tidy up the room, then."
Qin Fei’Er gave a small nod, returned to her room to change her clothes, and then bustled off to the kitchen.
Meanwhile, his heart pounding with excitement, Chenyang started tidying the room.
「Forty minutes later.」
"Xiaochen, come and eat!"
"Okay."
When he entered the living room, only Lin Xiaowei was sitting at the dining table.
"Where are the others?"
"She went to feed Li Qiang."
Lin Xiaowei shot Chenyang an uneasy glance. After a brief hesitation, she asked, "What... what were you two talking about in the room earlier?"
"I told Aunt Qin all about us."
"What?"
"Hahaha, relax, I’m just messing with you. Aunt Qin was just telling me the story of how Li Qiang got what was coming to him. She also asked me to... enter the bridal chamber with you later."
Lin Xiaowei first breathed a sigh of relief, seeing that Chenyang hadn’t mentioned what happened yesterday.
But when she heard the second half of his sentence, the color instantly drained from her beautiful face. "What did you just say? Enter... enter the bridal chamber with *me*?"
"That’s right. Aunt Qin said that since Li Qiang is paralyzed and can’t perform his husbandly duties, she wants me to take his place and make your wedding night dreams come true."
"Impossible! It’s true that Li Qiang is paralyzed, but his... *function* in that department is still intact. Besides, she paid a steep price for me to marry him. Why would she just hand her daughter-in-law over to an outsider like you for free?"
"Li Qiang is paralyzed, and he can still do *that*?" Chenyang asked, stunned.
"I was baffled myself. I went through his medical records. The nerve damage to his brain means he can’t move his limbs or speak, but his mind is perfectly clear. And, strangely enough, his sexual functions weren’t significantly affected."
’That bastard sure is lucky,’ Chenyang cursed under his breath. He then slid his hand under the hem of Lin Xiaowei’s skirt, placing it on her smooth, pale thigh. Stroking her gently, he grinned mockingly. "So what if he can still get it up? When I’m taking his place with you in the bridal chamber tonight, he’ll still have to just sit there and watch, completely helpless."
"Get your hand away from there! If someone sees, we’re both done for."
"The door’s closed. How the hell are they going to see? You think that mother-son duo has X-ray Vision or something?"
"That doesn’t mean... Mmmph—"
Before Lin Xiaowei could finish, Chenyang’s hand snaked further up under her skirt, expertly finding its way to that secret, intimate place.
"Don’t... Get your hand out of there."
"Last night you were begging me to leave it in."
"That was last night! You... You—argh, let go!"
As Lin Xiaowei struggled to object, Chenyang pulled her onto his lap. While one hand began its work below, his other slipped straight down the collar of her dress.
