Chenyang stated firmly, "I didn’t leave because she was unconscious. As a doctor, I had to examine and treat her as quickly as possible. I asked Mr. Tian to leave because of hospital regulations. Family members aren’t allowed to remain in the emergency room."
"Wow, scammers are getting smarter these days, aren’t they? You even know the rule about family members not being allowed in the emergency room."

"Truth, my ass! How dare you shamelessly impersonate a doctor in front of two official hospital employees! You must get a high from scamming people, don’t you?

As soon as Wen Rou finished speaking, Chenyang, who had been about to explain further, suddenly burst out laughing.
His somewhat theatrical laughter made Wen Rou frown. "What are you laughing at?"
"You’re being ridiculous. Am I not allowed to laugh?"

Before Wen Rou could retort, Chenyang’s tone shifted. "Accusing me of taking advantage of Ms. Liu without a shred of proof was ridiculous enough, but now you’re escalating things to a criminal offense?

Second, Ms. Liu herself has already stated that I did not take advantage of her or bother her in any way. She is the one involved, and she has already confirmed the facts. As her nurse, you should accept her word.

Chenyang sneered. "I treat a patient out of the goodness of my heart, and a nurse accuses me of having ulterior motives. "I’ve worked at the City Hospital for more than two years. I know every doctor here. And I’ve never seen you before."
"I’m new."
"New?" Bai Jie paused, sizing Chenyang up before sneering. "Even if you’re new, you should be wearing a white coat on hospital grounds. Where’s yours?"
"Today is my first day. I haven’t been fitted for one yet."
"Fine, we’ll accept ’first day’ as a reason for not having a coat. But every single doctor gets an ID badge as soon as they complete their onboarding paperwork. Where’s your badge?"
"It hasn’t been made yet, either."
"Oh, cut the crap. The HR department prints an ID badge for every new employee during their in-processing. That’s been the rule at the City Hospital since the day it opened. There’s no such thing as ’not having time to make one’."
Chenyang frowned. "That rule may exist, but Director Liu was in a rush for me to come up, so Director An didn’t have time to give it to me."
"Director Liu told you to come up?"
