Chapter 73: A Hard-to-Voice Request
"What are you doing here? Why didn’t you go back and rest?"
Xu Qingsui had felt she was in the way earlier, so she found an excuse to leave on her own.
Lu Jingyu could tell she had done it on purpose. He had planned to check on Xu Qingsui after seeing Tian Teng, but he hadn’t expected to run into her in the infirmary.
"I ran into Meng Donghua on my way back just now. He said Tian Teng was awake, so I came over."
Lu Jingyu nodded. "I’ll go check on his condition first."
As he spoke, Lu Jingyu started toward the ward, but Xu Qingsui pulled him back again.
"You’d better not go in. He was only conscious for a few minutes before he slipped back into a coma. His condition is too serious. We should let him rest as much as possible."

"Captain, Elder Qi Qin says he has something to tell you. He requests your presence in the assembly hall."

He was displeased, but he still had to show the man some respect.
He said to Xu Qingsui, "Why don’t you go back and wait for me first. I’ll come find you as soon as I’ve handled this."

Arriving at the assembly hall, Lu Jingyu walked in with a dark expression on his face.
