Chapter 1426 - 925: Subordinate God Bobo
In the depths of the profound Void.
Kind-hearted Lurik seemed to hear her confusion; he briefly opened his eyes, cast a helpless glance at this bewildered little mouse, and let out a soft sigh.
Before he closed his eyes again and sank back into his state of deep insight, he spoke at breakneck speed to dispel her doubts:
"This is the manifested Rule dissipated from the complete wish-fulfillment process of the Stone of Creation."
He paused, his voice carrying a faint, almost imperceptible trace of envy.
"Back when Kana used the complete Stone of Creation to make that grand vow, we vaguely sensed that if we could calmly observe and earnestly trace the trajectory of those flowing Rules, it would vastly deepen our understanding of, and affinity with, the essence of the world."
His speech quickened again, as though afraid of delaying anyone’s precious time for comprehension.
"It’s just that back then we were in an open space, where the Rule Power was like a diluted stream—relatively condensed, yet still limited—and we could only silently feel its faint ripples. But this time is completely different!"
His tone took on a hint of excitement.
"This is a fully sealed Alternate Space that Kana deliberately carved out. Those Rule origins that form the very foundation of the world are now presenting themselves in the most direct, most resplendent form of light-points, spraying out like stardust, permeating and filling every inch of this place."
His gaze burned as he looked at Bobo, stressing every word.
"Right now, being within it, we are like beings immersed in a pure and dense, nearly tangible sea of Rules.
"For our future path—especially for our advancement on the level of Rules—this carries benefits so immense they’re impossible to measure. This... should also be the core reason why Kana brought us into this strange space together."
"W-what?! Sea of Rules? Immense benefits?"
Bobo was struck as if by lightning, screaming in disbelief. Her shrill voice was thick with a suffocating frustration and deep grievance, the whole mouse going rigid.
"But I... I can’t feel anything at all!"
Her strength, compared to the companions present, was simply far too weak, utterly inadequate.
After all, at her core she was nothing more than a pitiful little mouse.
She had practically exhausted every last ounce of strength just to barely keep up with the others and squeeze into this precious space; her Sensing Power was extremely limited to begin with, as if a thick layer of frosted glass covered everything.
"Being a mouse is just too tragic!"
Bobo was filled with grief and indignation, pounding the invisible spatial barrier with her tiny paws—thump, thump—crying as she did so. Her voice was heavily nasal, and big teardrops swirled in her eyes.
"This world is way too harsh on mice! Way too unfair!"
One step late, every step late! Uuuu...
Her wails and complaints echoed pointlessly through this space suffused with the sacred radiance of Rules, yet they didn’t affect in the slightest those companions who were immersed in deep comprehension.
Their eyes were closed, their expressions serene or focused, like devout believers bathed in Holy Light; they didn’t even lift an eyelid, completely submerged in that vast ocean of Rules.
Only Bobo, all alone as a single mouse, huddled pitifully in a cold corner, gazing at those brilliant, dazzling Rule light-points that filled the sky yet were as illusory as mirages, and sighing over and over.
She was heartsick over the huge opportunity she had missed, her small black eyes filled with endless envy and loss.
At this moment, Kana, who was serving as a massive energy transmission interface, naturally could clearly sense this absurd yet poignant scene unfolding outside.
After all, he was now merely a Passive "channel," only needing to stand steadily and maintain the flow of energy, with no extra actions required.
"Ah, Bobo..."
He couldn’t help but let out a long sigh in his heart.
Talent is, at times, such a cold and despairing thing, like a heavenly chasm that cannot be crossed.
He looked around at Alyris, Blake, Lurik, and Maxim present.
Every single one of them was a brilliant, peerless genius of extraordinary talent.
Among them, Alyris was without a doubt a genius among geniuses, radiant beyond compare.
Even though a considerable portion of her energy was diverted by the heavy administrative duties of a Night Watcher, in terms of strength Alyris at this moment was only slightly inferior to Raelia, who had long been fighting on the very front lines of the Abyss.
The two of them were almost existences of the same Level of power.
One must know that Night Watchers are able to gain Experience energy directly through fierce battles and blood-soaked combat.
Raelia, in the peril-ridden Abyss, could be said to be fighting without respite, dancing constantly between life and death, her Experience surging endlessly like a rushing river.
That she possessed her current Level and strength was nothing more than the most natural outcome.
As for Alyris, after her promotion to Legendary, her Level-ups were almost entirely reliant on her Extraordinary comprehension and profound understanding of Rules—these insights directly transformed into pure Experience Value, filling up her Experience bar and driving her to Level up.
Simply put, for others the greatest difficulty might lie in the arduous leap from Level Ten to the threshold of Legendary.
But for Alyris, this was no difficulty at all; that door was practically open for her.
Rapid Level-ups instead accelerated her astonishing pace of growth.
After becoming Legendary, she was like a fish in water, roaming unimpeded through the ocean of Rules.
Moreover, as the wife of Divine Kana, as the partner of the Savior of this world—
The core Rules of the two of them possessed a mysteriously fated resonance and complementarity.
Kana’s primary Rule was "Datafication," which laid the foundation of all things; only second came the Silver Metal Rule used to construct and refine those creations, and after that the Rule related to "blood."
