The Genius Evolution Store

"Haaaa! The training... Even though it wasn’t physical training, it was extremely exhausting. My brain is now fried." Vera dropped onto the floor, her head resting on her bed.

The dorm was actually a small room with two bunk beds. There were only two tables and chairs, so they needed to share them. The room didn’t have a bathroom.

That was also why they warned them to pick a teammate while considering that they had to live in similar conditions during the Europe Training Program.

They had shared tents for a whole month, so the girls knew Auric was the type of person who wouldn’t take advantage of them.

He was merely keeping his life clean so that there wouldn’t be many scandals about him in the future, while the others were hoping that he would take advantage of them, since it would be easier for them to gain an advantage that way.

That was why even his mother was frustrated that she couldn’t bring herself to punish Auric because he was such a good boy.

Katarina patted Vera’s back. "Still, you feel a big improvement, right? I guess Lady Maya’s suggestion is working as intended."

"I know that, but..." Vera glanced at Auric, wanting to say that he was probably the one who had the easiest time, only to find Ellia casually taking off Auric’s shirt, leaving him in a white T-shirt underneath to make himself comfortable.

Auric said casually, "You need to have good elemental manipulation to improve your strength. Being able to compress or even combine your power to an entirely new degree will allow you to create something you’ve never imagined. In fact, I have written down some notes about it."

Auric grabbed the note from his front pocket, only to realize that wasn’t wearing anything with a pocket. He looked down and realized he wasn’t wearing a shirt anymore. "Where is my shirt?"

"Ah!" Ellia turned around and grabbed the note from his shirt as she hung the shirt. "Here."

"Ah, thank you..."

Katarina and Vera looked at Auric strangely.

Vera’s eyebrows twitched. "Are you seeing this? He is... being conditioned, isn’t he?"

Katarina shook her head helplessly. "I want to say it’s just Ellia’s nature that ends up spoiling him, but... maybe."

Obviously, even during the hunting event, Ellia casually took special care of Auric. Her movements were so smooth that it felt like second nature.

"Now that you mention it, it might actually be easier that way." Katarina nodded in agreement since she had learned the fusion technique too.

"Is that so? I will try that later then." Vera nodded. "It will achieve the same goal, right?"

"I believe so."

"Very well."

"What about me?" Ellia asked.

"You? You’re already doing the basics, so there’s nothing I can say. Just continue that way, and you will be fine."

Katarina pointed to herself. "What about me then?"

"Katarina? Good luck. You can only master that technique normally." Auric chuckled.

"Fine." Katarina nodded. "For now, I’ve accomplished the small goal, which is to lift all twenty of them. Next, I have to move them around as if they were dancing, or do other things with them. By the way, let me handle the chores this time. Mr. Green told me to clean the room by controlling the tools with my energy, like Telekinesis."

"I guess we are going to continue our schedule this way, but we may have to choose a new instructor tomorrow. Should we go to your teacher?" Vera asked.

Auric thought for a moment before shaking his head. "No. I’m thinking of visiting Madam Shelly. She is good at the basics of energy control, so it might be useful for all of us."

"Oh! I guess we will wait until the last few days before visiting your teacher?" Katarina agreed.

"Yes. On Wednesday, I’m planning to visit Mr. Gregory. He’s good at physical training, so it will be good to get his insight on how to build and refine our muscles. As for the remaining four days, we will have free-training sessions. If you want to visit one instructor, tell us and we will visit that person the next day."

"Sounds good to me. Learning from too many instructors will just make us lose focus after all."

"Yep! For the second batch of instructors, I’m planning to visit Mr. Howard, whom my teacher recommended to hone our basic combat. Then, we’ll head to Instructor Kayle for our mobility. It’s good to learn about strategic thinking as well. As for the rest, I’m still thinking about it. I’ll decide when the time comes." Auric nodded.

"Fair enough." Vera looked up while placing her finger on the corner of her lip. "There are no objections from me."

"Well, I just want to let you know that during the second week, I will have to be away from Friday to Sunday." Auric raised one finger. "With Katarina."

"Yeah." Katarina confirmed. She was going to help Auric with the Unique Valley and the evolution master test anyway.

"You’re busy?"

Auric nodded. "Don’t you know it’s already that time of year?"

"That time?" Vera tilted her head in confusion before she figured out what Auric was talking about. "You’re talking about the evolution master test?!"

"Yep!"

Vera didn’t know why Auric needed a test. If he wanted to advance, he only needed to schedule an appointment, since Chief Lucas had given Auric that privilege.

However, Vera soon figured out the true reason. "Wait. Don’t tell me, you’re planning to become a gold-grade evolution master?!"

Ellia and Katarina remained calm, even though Vera felt like she was on fire.

Auric was only 17 years old, but he actually intended to become a gold-grade evolution master. It had only been six months since he awakened. Even the youngest gold-grade evolution master in the world still needed two and a half years to achieve it, not to mention the fact that he had been studying as an evolution master from a very young age.

"You guys already know this?" Vera realized she was actually the only person who didn’t know about it. "I guess we’re going to have a lot of fun trashing that genius!"

"That’s not nice, but yeah, we’ll have some fun." Katarina winked playfully.

"So, yeah. I will be quite busy for those three days. Sorry."

"No, it’s fine. But how is your progress? Do you have a Rank 3 element already?"

"Almost. I should be able to reach Rank 3 with my first element in six days with this kind of training intensity."

"I see. I wish you good luck." Vera waved her hand. "So, who’s going to take a shower first? We need to get as much rest as possible so that we can continue our high-intensity training tomorrow."

Auric waved his hand. "You guys can go ahead and rest first. I’m going to review the study materials for my evolution master test."

Ellia suddenly grabbed his sleeve, stopping him.

"What’s wrong?" Auric tilted his head.

Ellia looked down embarrassedly. "Mhmm... You know, this place doesn’t have a bathroom. I mean, there are two public bathrooms, but we have to share them with everyone else. You know... If you don’t mind..."

Katarina didn’t know why Ellia was bringing this up.

Auric thought for a moment. It was fine for Katarina to know about this, and after knowing Vera for so long, he knew Vera wasn’t the type of person to reveal this kind of information.

Still, Auric turned to Vera first to get confirmation. "Vera, can you keep a secret about what I’m going to do from everyone?"

"I don’t exactly mind, but what are you going to do?"

"Something you’ll like." Auric smiled. "We need to arrange this place slightly, though. I need some space to create it."

"Got it!" Ellia nodded firmly, ready to help him.

"Okay, let’s move it this way..." Auric gave instructions and positioned the beds and the rest of the furniture so that there was enough space for another room beside their bedroom.

Auric then placed his hand on the ground. Rocks emerged from the ground and sealed off the other side of the room as though he was making a new room. After that, he used the Wood Element to create a simple wooden door.

This new room was divided into two sections.

’Lindwurm, are you ready?’

"Are you sure?" Lindwurm asked. He knew Auric wanted to use his store authority to create a bathroom for them.

’Yeah.’

"Okay. Night and Day Hotel is now in business. I have activated the store authority, so you may enter."

’First, I want to divide it into two sections: the bathroom and the changing room. I will finish the rest with my power first, then I want you to apply your store authority to it so that I don’t have to use my energy to keep it maintained."

"Sure. It doesn’t require that much energy, so it’s fine." Lindwurm acknowledged his order.

’You know, we are going to the Unique Valley on Friday, and the evolution master test is on Sunday, right? That means Saturday is free time, right? How about we have another buffet on Saturday?’

"You mean it? No taking back!" Lindwurm’s eyes shone.

Auric chuckled. He had promised to give Lindwurm another buffet, so it was a good opportunity to keep that promise. ’Yeah. I’m going to ask Katarina to prepare the materials.’

"Yahooo!"

Auric simply smiled and entered the bathroom. "Ladies, allow me to introduce you to your new bathroom."

"What?" Vera dropped her jaw to the ground. "Is this for real? But what about the water?"

Auric simply released his blue energy on his right hand and white energy on the left hand, showing that he already had the Water Element and Light Element.

"Wait, you have all the elements already?"

"Yeah." Auric nodded. "Anyway, I can recreate everything with my elements. They don’t need much energy to maintain them, so you don’t have to worry about my consumption."

Vera knew about this, since Auric had used this a couple of times to smooth out the ground while they slept during the hunting event. She just never thought the convenience he could provide was more than this.

Auric continued with his Wood Element, creating a wardrobe with four doors. "All right. The wardrobes are finished, so you can put your clothes here. However, you may need to wash your clothes by hand or take them to the laundry service outside the academy. By the way, Ellia, do you have..."

Ellia nodded casually and took out a few small packets to absorb moisture and repel foul odors.

"O-Oh!" Vera thought Auric wouldn’t be able to impress her anymore, but she realized that Auric had been holding back the whole time after seeing this.

"You don’t have to worry about ventilation. I’ve used the same power to get rid of the element residue in my store." Auric winked playfully.

"Understood!" Vera nodded enthusiastically. "Oh, wait. Am I seeing this correctly? You even prepared a bathtub?! We can actually soak in it?"

"Yeah." Auric smiled. "So, take your time."

Ellia was too lazy to share a bathroom with others, so having a private bathroom like this would be a plus for their group.

"I feel like worshipping you right now." Vera shook her head helplessly.

"For wet clothes, you can put them there. It will blow hot air to dry them. The iron will work using heat. So, unless you plan to use the laundry service, you can do everything here." Auric smiled. "As long as you don’t find it weird that I’ll be using it as well, I guess this is everything."

"Of course not. You aren’t a pervert, so why bother?" Vera shrugged. "Ehm, boss. Do you perhaps need a sugar baby? I bet anyone is willing to be yours, you know? They can act cute or be pretty. Do you want me to find one for you?"

Ellia sneaked behind her and put her arms around Vera’s neck and brought her down to the bed. "You are dreaming!"

"You bitch! I’m going to fuck you over right now!"

In the end, Vera and Ellia were playing around again, while Katarina whispered, "I know this is not made from the basic elements. I’m now curious about your unique element... How many of them have you combined to create something like this?"

Auric chuckled while answering in his mind, ’You only need to have one Lindwurm.’

Little did the students know, the teachers had been preparing an ’exciting’ raid at night.
