The girl with the fire wheel.

Episode Two: The Red Ring Rebels

"Hey Noel. Time to go home!

A young man shouts as he takes charge of the finished product and looks around.

The young man's name is Milt. Even today, as usual, I was out hunting from morning until the sun went down.

The hunters were accompanied by their fellow hunters, Fresser and Noel. Fresser is sitting on the stump wiping sweat next to him.

"Uh, are you leaving already? I still have a cup of prey. Wouldn't that be a waste?"

Standing trees, I hear disgusting voices from those above them.

"Too much money for today. It's not good to be too greedy at once. Anyway, come on down."

"Yeah, okay"

Noel jumped down refreshingly after the bodies of several birds and ravens were thrown unconstitutionally in front of Milt.

In the steeple of prey, all are stunningly arrows pierced.

"You're still amazing. It's a really creepy arm."

"But I don't like bows. You can't fight without an arrow."

"I'll put you down in one blow and put it right."

Milt has to wrap his tongue around it. Even a skilled hunter wouldn't do this every time. Still running milt and fresser, needless to say. Now I'm not very good at bows, etc., so I'm not comfortable with them.

"Oh, come on, we've finally got a little pig in our head. Well, then you're the best again."

Fresser pokes a breathless pig. It's not a very praised achievement because it's a small one.

"You know, awesome?

"Uh, awesome. You're amazing."

"Yay. I'll give you this."

When Noel smiled innocently, he threw nuts at the flattered fresser.

"Whoa, I'm sorry.... Shit, it's still sour."

Fresser chewed up the fruit as he glared at his face.

Noel starts to loosen his clothes chest, saying it's hot. Milt turns away unexpectedly, but Fresser stares happily.

(... this guy is really the same. You know you're a woman for once, too?

In frustration with his defenselessness, the milt throws a cloth towel at him to hide his chest. Fresser tongues lightly.

"... wipe the sweat off the cold. Here."

"Yeah."

After finishing his chest, he starts wiping his red hair with a cloth to burn. Every time the red mess shakes unconstitutionally, the milt is spotted. I can attract them for some reason.

"Thank you, I'll give this back. Shh, let's go home and have dinner! Eating well and sleeping well is the first step in happiness, isn't it?

Noel is taking the notebook out of his nostalgia to confirm it.

One of this woman's treasures, a happy notebook. Noel doesn't care who he is. He asks around how to be happy, and he writes it down without leaving one. As a result of the consideration, the slope appears to be drawn for those that have been rejected.

He's trying to put it into practice, but he hasn't really made it. Every time, he laments that it's something that doesn't really go well in the world.

"That's the thing. All right, then let's finally go home. Fresser, let's wrap up the prey."

"Whoa. That's all. That's a treat for today."

"Good luck, both of you"

"You do it, too. Take the strings out of that bag."

"Yeah, okay"

Bracket the birds and ravioli corpses on the sticks of the trees. In this mountainous area, crops are difficult to grow. The daily food of the villagers is supported by the hunter's prey. So Noel, the leftover, was also able to enter the village. We cannot afford to feed humans who do not benefit the village.

Old and young, we all live our days in the middle of nowhere.

(Rumor has it that there has been a rebellion. That's not what I found out.)

I am dissatisfied with heavy taxes. Working as hard as you can doesn't make it any easier. Most of the harvest is delivered to the village and sold off to gold in a nearby city. That's where you pay taxes to the state. I feel dark wondering if these days will last for decades after I die.

But I've never thought about taking a sword and getting up, etc. I don't have the courage, and I don't have the power. The best I can do is fool around with my friends in a lonely tavern in the village.

Suddenly this brain-weather woman appeared on such a boring day that she shriveled helplessly.

Dress like a pedestrian with no size, carrying a strange pair of spears on his back.

And I said with a full smile, let me stay here for a while.

As a small village, it's important. The village chief assembled them all and considered the response.

I tried to ask Noel about the situation in detail, but he only replied that he was dumped and didn't know it well. Then when I ask what I can do, I make him slap a big mouth that I can do anything.

The village chief seemed frightened and speechless, but ended up accepting. Noel was around sixteen years old. It doesn't look bad, so it seemed like he was going to sell it off if he found it useless. It's nothing to be surprised because it's happened a few times before. It was sold to children of villagers who were no longer able to support them.

But contrary to expectations, Noel was allowed to settle in the village. Because as soon as I started living in the village Boro family, I began to manifest my talent as a hunter. With one hand the old bow and arrow that Milt lent him, he hunted mountains of prey to show him. Compared to the three days of the village's most skilled hunter, he is skilled enough to hang "waiting” if he hunts animals as he is. Now he is completely part of the village of Zoim.

"Hey, how come you're such a good hunter? Is that some kind of secret? You know, tips on finding hidden animals."

"It's nothing. You just know somehow. Where are you hiding, where can I throw you to be punished? Hey, is this awesome?

"Ah, wow, you're really awesome. Look, I get it, so move your hands."

"Ha, he's a born talent. I envy you. If I could have you as my daughter-in-law, I wouldn't have trouble eating you for the rest of my life."

"I wonder?

"Yes. Definitely."

When the fresser is teared up, Noel looks like he doesn't know better. The fresser keeps going.

"... hey, was it time for you to think about this earlier story?

"Is that what you said you wanted to marry me or something?

"Oh, yeah. I told you to take me seriously. So, what do you think? Tell you what, I'm serious."

Ask with a serious look that the fresser doesn't usually show. The most popular of the men in the village is naturally Noel. Young and good looking, with exceptional hunting arms. Several men have already hung their invitations. I'm pretty sure if I could welcome you to my daughter-in-law, I could have a big face in the village.

But that doesn't tell this woman. There is a complete lack of the usual “femininity” that a woman of her age has.

"Um, I'm glad to hear that, but I'm gonna stop."

"Hey, why not!

"'Cause you don't know if getting married makes you happy, do you? My aunt from the village said so. It was just so blurry that I really didn't like it."

I'm taking out an earlier happiness notebook and checking it. Peeping in from the side, the item of getting married unfortunately drew a slant.

"Don't worry about the shady shitty bitch. It's okay, he said I could make him absolutely happy!

Fresser desperately recruits. I can't tell if I'm seriously in love, or if it's the result of an erasure method I chose from among the village women.

"I have no idea who you're going to like or anything like that. I don't want to live with you right now. So I'll stop for a while."

Noel laughs, but clearly refuses.

(Because this is the kind of woman he is. He's really weird. I know exactly what you're thinking)

I'm usually a brain-weather woman, but I change that look from time to time. Behind the cheerful side, there are times when something dark is occasionally hidden. It is the rainy day that makes it remarkable. If it were also a rainy night, Noel would be as shady as if people had changed. As much as I hesitate to speak up.

It used to be a rainy day. A drunk rambler once crawled into Noel at night. There were many priors, but no one tried to tell the village chief for fear of retribution. And you got on the diagram, and you finally tried to get your hands on Noel. But he's been bad with me all this time.

The next morning there was a man stretching out into the square in a half-kill state. He seemed to have had some terrible eyes, and he hasn't tried to come any closer to Noel since. The eye was the very dog that threatened me. Now he's kicked out of the village, too, and I don't even know where he is.

Fresser remembered that too, and didn't utter any more words.

Milt was unwittingly disgusted with himself for being relieved.

On his way down the mountain to the village, he was stopped by a large young man with a bamboo.

My buddy calls me the craft of the tail, a dear young man. In the village, he makes a living from field work.

"Hey, guys!

"What the hell, Kraft. You can't just stand here and eat."

Slap the fresser on the back while teasing. My personality is like different but seems to fit in, and I see it sticking around a lot.

"No, I'm not. The village is more noisy. I wonder if something happened."

You'll find out as soon as you get back.

"'Cause maybe a bandit's here."

It's not so uncommon for bandits to push against villages. If you pay them dearly, they will not harm you. If the number of people is small, reverse it and strip the clothes. Living together is also in self-defence.

"Sure, that's noisy. Um, is it a festival? The festival is fun."

Noel wants brain weather.

"Whatever it takes, we don't do festivals at a time like this."

"The festival is fun, isn't it? Very busy and a cup of treats. It's funny to beat a drum or blow a whistle. I practiced too, so now I'm good."

"... not if I'm dating your stupid story. Look, the firehand's gone up!

"Dude, is that true!?

The face of the fresser and craft fades. Black smoke does rise from the direction of the village of Zoim.

There are no bandits around here that do the kindling. Because if you do that, you'll lose their place to make money. That means the others may have come across the territory.

"Duh, what shall I do? Hey, Fresser, should we run?

"You're kidding me! You can abandon your mothers and run away, you big fool!

Fresser puts the head of the craft on.

Of course Milt agrees. I'm not going to throw my body away and run. I'm going to go alone.

"All right, we're just going back. I hope it makes sense."

Noel, are you coming back? If they're violent bandits, they could kill them. "

"You don't have to worry. Because I will kill all those who stand in my way. If you don't, it's gonna be hell."

Noel giggles when he holds the two spears on his back in his right hand. Kraft is out of faith. That would be so. There's no way hunters and peasants can beat a bunch of bandits. - If it's normal.

(Are you serious about this stupid bitch? You don't know that humans and animals are different.)

Unlike animals, humans have a working head. It doesn't work like a regular hunt. I've never killed a person, but Milt can tell about it.

Besides, I'm sure of Noel's bow arm, but I've never seen a spear arm. It's always stuck on my back, but I'm not using it to hunt.

I'm not joking about getting killed unharmed or anything because of my poor hands.

"Noel, I don't even know who they are yet. Never get your hands on it. I don't care if you get ahead and die, but you're gonna wind up with us and our family."

"Yeah, okay"

"Hey, do you really understand?

"Yes, I understand."

Noel folds his right hand in front of his chest. It's a salute like doing in the military. It is too familiar to be joking. My spine is stretched out and my expression is serious.

If it weren't for the hunter's outfit, he probably would have looked like a military man.

"... oh, should I imitate it too?

"So, me too?

Fresser and Kraft are trying to salute each other by imitating what they see. Needless to say, the difference with Noel is historical.

"Do as you please. Look, you didn't say anything stupid, we're going back in a hurry!

Milt clasped his shoulders and began walking quickly to the village.

When he entered the village, men with red cloth wrapped around his right arm were groping. They don't do looting or anything, and they don't hear screams.

The largest building in the village, the village chief's house, is lit with unfamiliar flags. Something with two red slants in the white, but I don't even know where it is. It is certain that it does not belong to the Coimbra army that will rule this zone.

When discovered by the watchman, he was forcibly taken under the other villagers.

"Fresser, you're safe!

"Ah, oh. But what the hell is this?"

"I have no idea, either. All of a sudden, a lot of people come in."

Fresser is making sure he's safe with his mother.

Milt searches for his only body. When we see each other with the person we're looking for, we rush over to each other.

"Brother!"

"Cal! Didn't they do anything to you!?

"Yeah. But I was scared"

"It's all right now. Your brother's with you."

When Milt hugged him, Cal finally smiled.

"You look happy and envious. Hey, don't get married. But can you make a family?

Noel takes out his notebook and asks me stupid things. I've kept my face close to it indefensibly, so I gently chase it away with my right hand.

"Hey, do you know what the situation is now? Even with that congratulatory head, you can understand that now is a bad time, right?

"Yeah, it's tough being occupied by people who don't know why."

Noel nodded with all his might, of course, knowing.

"If you know what I'm talking about, keep it big!

Milt leaves the fools alone and observes the bandit-like men unnoticed. The men wrap a red cloth around their right arm, each armed with swords, spears, and quotes, such as bamboo. The outfit is fragmented and has no sense of unity. There are also a few people mixed up who are incompatible when it comes to bandits.

"And what the hell, these guys? It doesn't look like the bandits there."

"Sounds like a collection, doesn't it? Look, he's got a bamboo shovel, not a sword. I wonder if it's meant to be weapons."

Noel tried to show it with his fingers, so I panicked.

"Big voice, and don't do anything noticeable"

"Nobody's listening, and I haven't seen it."

"I'd be in trouble in case there was one."

"Right."

After a while, one man entered from among the bandits. He's bigger and better equipped than the others. It's more like a mercenary outfit with arms than a bandit. I can see at a glance that it's not.

When armed men scream to be silent, silence comes in an instant.

The iconic man looked around and began to speak aloud, which often resonated.

"We are the“ Red Wheel Army ”who stood by righteousness, those who decided against the evil government of Coimbra Taisho, Glor Valdecca!

"Shh, Red Wheel Army...?

When the village chief asks with his hips low, Listig nods.

"That's right. My name is Listig, and I am the leader of the Red Wheel Army. A good amount of blood we've been spilling. I wrap that around my arms as a sign of my comrades. The red wheel engraved on that flag is a manifestation of our readiness to take away our accumulation and continue to move on until we bring judgment to those who are devouring it!

"Ha, ha"

"Our Red Wheel Army aims at the state capital from the north of Coimbra, and its numbers are increasing day by day. Let's just say this is more than evidence of Grohl's bad governance. Any of them must reach His Majesty the Emperor's ears! That way the maggots who cow the coin bra will surely be rewarded!

In contrast to Listig, who is so adept at saying it, the village chief is completely baffled.

There's no connection to such stories in this despicable village. The only time I can get involved in politics is when a tax collector visits and when a young man is taken in conscription.

I think I see something to talk about, but Milt is silent. I'm no match for being looked at.

Neighbor Noel is meditating on his eyes. Sometimes my body gets rough, so maybe I'm really sleeping. I thought I'd pay attention, but it's better than getting noisy, so I'll let it go.

Cal is supporting Noel's torso with both hands from behind. My sister misses this brainy woman so much.

"So what the hell can I do for this lonely village? Like hospitality, hate, we don't have much to store."

"I'm not thinking about taking it away from my countrymen, etc. Then it becomes the same as those corrupt people. There is only one request we make. I want you to join my comrades in the Red Wheel Army. Someone can do something about it, then you can't change anything. You must take the sword yourself and stand up. Yes, now is exactly the time!

"… I mean, shall we also take the sword and bee up against Lord Coimbra"

"Simply put, that's what I mean. But I do not intend to turn my sword against His Majesty the Emperor or the Empire. Our goal is to eliminate the maggots in the coin bra. Our treason will never be punished!

Let Listig speak up strongly about the question of the village chief, who frowned between his eyebrows.

If we still refuse to do this, the forces surrounding us will run simultaneously into acts of looting. Rebel leader Listig's words are a formidable threat to provide supplies or humans if they don't want to be killed.

But rebellion is a felony. Join them all, and the end of the road would be miserable if things were to be defeated.

The village chief often makes decisions with a silent but unavoidable look.

"... ok. Please forgive me for inviting a few young people from the village."

"Thank you. It is our aim to appeal to the world about Grohl's evil government and to improve the lives of our people. Mayor, it will always prove that your judgment was right!

That's what Listig said and began to move on to where he rode his horse. The heavily dressed cavalry continues, followed by the men of the Red Wheel Army marching in pieces.

They seem to be the leading group of rebels, and the followers arrive late. All of a sudden they're all gathered together, so you can't help but have no control.

With Milt thinking about that, the village chief, who dropped his shoulder, came back under the villagers in heavy footsteps.

"Everybody, you're right to listen. You will have to obey his word. I'm sorry, but those who can fight follow them."

"No! What did he say, rebellion is a felony! How would we live if the workers were gone!

"Either way, if you don't obey, this village will be crushed now. Then I'll have to choose the one who's a little better."

"Village chief, why don't you contact the stall and call the state trooper?

"There's no way they haven't noticed. Maybe he's pretending not to see it. And by the time the Crusaders come from the south, we'll be dead. There is only one path to choose from.... bad for the chosen one, but understand. For the village to survive."

The village chief shook his voice and bowed his head. The opposite voice, it never went up again.

Seeing the surrounding state soldiers not coming out in this situation either, I guess they are deciding on opportunism. It is true that the people are dissatisfied with the rule of Grohl the Taisei.

Perhaps there are quite a few who took part in the event that the situation improves. From the state soldiers from the poor North, it would mean that they have no stewardship to risk their lives to suppress it. Rather, the rebels are spokespersons and the same is true of their bodies.

The belly-up village chief and the spoken begin to gather and talk in a hustle. It's a consultation about who to offer.

In the end, it was the hunters' group, mainly the milt, and the farmers' group, such as the craft, who participated. A total of 10.

Naturally Noel is also in the head count. At times like this, the market is set when the leftovers and two boys are offered.

"Hey guys, can you listen to me for a second?

"What the fuck?"

Noel talks to the people he joins with a serious face sometime.

"Um, you should take your family with you or tell them to run away somewhere."

"... what does that mean"

"That's right. Why do I have to tell my family to run? We're joining the Red Wheel, aren't we?

Craft leans his neck strangely. Other faces naturally have a strange look. It is natural to participate so that the village is not crushed.

First, there can be no such thing as bringing a family to join the rebels. There's no way Cal or Fresser's mother could have fought properly. You will die without being able to do anything.

"Um, somehow. If we keep this up, maybe the next unit will crush us."

"Huh?"

"Oh, hey, wait. You can't be such a fool!

Fresser screams, but Noel speaks pale.

"'Cause he says it's the Red Wheel Army, but it's just a collection. An uncontrolled army is no different than a bandit."

"Oh no..."

"If you don't want to regret it, you should tell the people close to you to run away. I'm not saying it's impossible."

When Noel said so, he started walking, holding Cal's hand.

"Hey, what are you going to do with Cal!?

Noel laughs calmly as Milt yells.

"Cal is my friend, so I'll protect you. Good for you."

"Thank you, Sister Noel!

"Yeah. Oh, shall I read that picture book with you? Because I think it's a different story again. Now I wonder what it's about."

"Fine! Then I'll get you ready!

"Hey, wait a minute! Don't do anything unsolicited!

Milt gets lost while stopping. It would be inconceivable if it were normal to take them. But Noel's words also make sense. What to do.

(Damn, what am I supposed to do!

"Milt, you look funny. I think I even ate sour food. Hey, can I laugh?

I hear you laugh all the time already. The irritated milt yells.

"Ugh! I'm thinking, so shut up for a second!

"Yes, I understand."

Noel to correct his spine and salute again. But the grin on his face hasn't disappeared. Do you know what your situation is or not? I can't judge at all.

But not now if you're thinking about Noel's foolishness additions and subtractions.

(Maybe it's the city of Rockbell to the south that we're headed to. Depending on the circumstances, there are also hands to escape where appropriate.... Either way, you should tell the villagers to hide)

Down south along the street along the village of Zoim lies the city of Rockbell, which hits the midpoint between the north and south. In a relatively large city, I don't think the rebels will miss the city in the end.

"All right, I'll tell the village chief for once. I don't know what Noel has to say."

"Sure, you don't know what's gonna happen.... That Listig guy is some kind of frigid sauce, too. I can't trust you."

"I guess so. He seemed like a serious guy."

"Life would be easier if good and evil could be judged just by appearance."

I threw up saying the fresser was ridiculous. Milt agrees. Listig said he would sue for bad governance, etc., but the top side alone doesn't seem to be desperate enough. It doesn't feel chopped at all. He didn't look very much like a spokesperson for the poor.

"But letting them get away is probably the same thing for a nearby village. What should I do?"

The craft is wandering around shaking his big body. Big body habits make you twice as small as you are.

Milt had no choice, so I decided to give him some advice. I'm not going to be so inhuman as to leave someone I know alone.

"If you just want to hide yourself for a while, you can do it in the mountains. You just have to grab the proper food and tuck it in the shed. Do it right."

"Right! The boulder is a milt. Then I'll tell Mom and Dad!

"Me too!

The tail craft is followed by scattered others.

"Noel, I'm sorry, but I need you to watch Cal until I get back. If someone's going to keep it, I'm going to ask for it."

"Yeah, okay"

Make sure Noel nods and head under the village chiefs.

It is reckless to take my sister, who has just turned ten years old into a boulder. It also serves as a complement to your escape on the way. As for the milt, I'm going to look at the time and get away with it. If this is all a group, they won't even notice where one or two people are missing.

"I'm sorry, but I sound like you're leaving a message. Maybe another time for the picture books. I don't think so."

"If you're not in this village, you'll be fine. You should take all the important things. If you don't, the scraps will take it."

Noel laughs at Cal, who looks anxious.

"Noel, aren't you afraid of your sister? Everyone in the village threatened me."

"I wonder if I'm scared at all right now. Because it's not raining. It's a beautiful day."

Noel looks up at the sky. The sun has hidden itself, but half the moon is illuminating the world instead. That's why I'm not afraid.

"Is it okay if it's not raining?

"Yeah. Because it's always rainy days when bad things happen. It has always been so. Rainy days are all bad."

Noel throws up abominably.

"You're always in a bad mood on rainy days. You look so scared on a rainy day, even though you're nicking on a sunny day."

"Sunny days are all good. Oh, I wish it was sunny all the time."

The sun cheers Noel up. The proud red hair is also a sun-like red color. It was also a sunny day to get the name.

The moon and the stars reassure my heart. It feels best to sleep in a blurry, glowing light.

That's why Noel likes sunny days.

"But if you do, the crop won't grow and you'll starve to death."

"... um, so is that"

"Yeah, well, rain's important, too. You don't have to go fetch water on rainy days!

Listening to Cal, Noel remembers that day.

A sight of hell you won't forget if you try to. Rotten odor and deafening feathers clinging to the nose. Dude's body dumped unconstitutionally in a big hole. They were important associates of Noel.

That is the end of those who were not happy. Cold rain that keeps coming down to cover it up from the world. That's why I hate rain. Because my existence is going to be scratched out.

"- But I still don't like rain. Yeah, I hate it."
