The GM Has Logged Into A Different World

Satellite city Schutzbald

We got two new guys in the Pirates at the Round Table the other day.

The first is a vampire knight. Ardelheid Bernstein.

A true ancestral vampire.

She flew through the sky like a vampire and had the power to consolidate her magic and throw it like a spear or change it to a sword-like shape to attack. Maybe I should call it skill. They don't have enough magic talent, but they have excellent sign detection skills.

Her hair is silver and her eyes are golden. Good style, relatively large chest. Sleek toes are attractive. Skin doesn't look like a vampire either, and under the light of day you look like a normal person without even wings. It would fall into the category of beauty.

The other one can't. Claudia Fuhrer joined in attracted by the couch and the special furniture she was installing inside my room. He's interested in me, too. I'm plain scared I won't be dissected.

She is good at special magic using billing techniques.

When I asked him to try it, he pressed a patterned bill on a piece of dirt, and a small earthly golem formed from the dirt. The material also changes the golem.

Smaller sizes can be numerous, but a few can be used when it comes to a bigger size golem than a person, which seems to be the limit in her magic.

Instead, the small size said that about fifty bodies could be used.

Her powers seem very useful when asking for man-made sea tactics.

As for other magic, it seems to work on average except for darkness and light.

The magic of water is not as good as my healing magic, but he said he could recover somewhat.

As long as I'm happy that recovery personnel who can make the golem have joined me.

I'm familiar with magic tools, so I'll ask you to investigate them when you get them.

My hair is blonde and my chest is about normal. I'd be beautiful if I kept my mouth shut, but no. The impression of the couch is too strong and unfortunately beautiful in me. But there was something familiar.

The other slaves did not solicit. There were little kids, and this kind of thing isn't something I'd invite too aggressively.

He doesn't seem to be from the kingdom, and he's going to ask the guards there because there's a satellite city near here. Then the sailors of the slave ship stick out as well.

Slavery itself does not appear to be a sin, but it was lawful in many other countries, whether in kingdoms or cities, to take away children orphaned by kidnapping or war and turn them into slaves.

The exception is the Empire.

(Slavery itself isn't bad, is it? If you want to sell yourself and help your family, become a slave and eat yourself. criminal slavery is also convincing as a punishment)

Talking about families who are too poor to live without selling themselves is something that used to happen in Japan in the past. It seems that banning slaves per se often causes entire families to starve to death or make them work to the bone marrow at low wages, shortly after the liberation of old slaves.

"It was better when I was a slave. At least I had dinner" I guess that's what some people were like.

The impact also leads to employment problems. More former workers have also been deprived of their jobs by cheap workers.

Even in modern times, work 24/7 on low wages. Some companies said it was delicious.

It may turn out to be worse than before slavery.

We changed course once towards the satellite city of Schutzbald. Sailors of slave ships caught in addition to the food of those who helped them. And because the ingredients we were accumulating at our meals are slowly diminishing, I wanted to replenish them by the time I got to the kingdom.

Meanwhile, I was studying what I was doing until I got to the city.

"Now, Lord Masaki, let the test begin."

"Please."

"Let's start with a letter test. Good luck, Masaki."

"No, it's not a dialogue you say as you sink on the couch..."

Claudia is rooting for me as I ram on the no sofa. Coffee in one hand.

I haven't had a test in years. Far from being a student, in both the years and dimensions.

The reason for studying is simple. I haven't shopped and messed around in this world yet.

I had no time at all to do it. He was summoned to the castle and placed in a cell before escaping.

Take the Pirates and full bocco the Frigate fleet. Feast and capture the slave ship.

Now it's connected to the back of the pirate ship, and the former slave ship sailors came into the barn.

It is better that letters and numbers can be read and written in cities and kingdoms for this reason.

At first, I tried to get the pirates to tell me, but they can't all do that.

Lohas is hard enough to read the numbers. Said he remembered desperately not to be deluded when buying or selling.

But now I have Claudia and Adele. I thought there was an upbringing because the devil behaves like a scholar or a knight.

They both gave me O.K. with pleasure. Study is power. Encourage the students. But play.

As a GM, I want to say that I can play a lot or study a lot.

The letters of this world were hard to remember to see in a way that complicated Katakana.

Now I don't know the translation of Cyrillic characters or anything. If it was a typeface, it would be quite hard to remember.

The numbers were Roman numbers. This is as simple as I can remember in a day.

At first, the letters were a lot more complicated and the X was quite good, but after standing for a few days, it was almost gone, and now it is a graduation exam of the.

".................. ok, review is ok too. Grade me."

The test by listening is also over, giving Adele a thin wooden plate of paper replacement.

Adele stares at the letters when she receives a wooden board from me.

Next to that, Claudia fell off the couch too forwardly.

Coffee is dead. Not zero. Above all.

"...... full score. Wow, Lord Masaki. Were you studying upbringing somewhere?

"In the countries of the world where I lived, there was assistance from the country so that letters and numbers could be remembered from small children. The numbers were easy because they were the same as this one. The letters were similar in shape to the world I was in, so if you look closely, you'll understand."

The two of you are told that I am a summoner from another world.

There may be people in the Pirates who think I'm the head who have a lot of secrets, so take that into account. Capabilities are also deluded by the fact that they come from different worlds.

I didn't just tell anyone 'Invincible' though. This guy would be too dangerous to disclose.

"I was there... I see. It's only logical to test numbers. You got a full score from the first test."

Claudia managed to get up while she was imprisoned on the no sofa.

It works better than a barn, doesn't it? That no sofa.

"Is this okay to shop around the city?

"You're all right. More than that, I would be able to work as a civilian in a castle. The letters are beautiful and easy to read"

The literacy rate of the inhabitants of this world is not high, and most people remember the numbers like Rojas, but farmers and the general public cannot read or write the letters.

There are educational facilities to remember, but only the wealthy and aristocratic are educated at high prices.

In that regard, I am taught for free by my beautiful Dr. Adele.

"The letters would be better clean. If you can't read it with the emphasis on speed, it's the end of the line."

"I'd like to let some of the civilians hear it. Even though it's not a classified document, it's hard to write cryptographic characters."

It seems to be the same in this world, even in the workplace where I was, there was a guy who focused only on speed and passed over letters that collapsed too much to read at all.

This cipher was rarely decrypted with colleagues and seniors.

Hit the tongue drum on the cookies I was making after the test.

Both women seem happy to loosen their expressions when they eat cookies.

Using the culinary skill "The Mystery of Taste" I could make a very tasty meal. This is good. But when I got on with this, I became the cooking number, so I was tied to the fact that it was just this simple.

He said he was eating cookies and spending graceful breaktime in the room drinking coffee.

"Big Parent. I can see the city! Schutzbald!

My men on watch called me.

"Schutzbald? What kind of city is that?

"Right. Fisheries and commercially excellent city in the kingdom's refuge. There are soldiers from the kingdom, and security is good."

"Is the pirate okay to go in there?

I never stayed at the harbor before, so I didn't know if it was okay for pirates to come in.

I'm going to leave these things to Barbarossa and the others to throw round. I took the liberty of giving you a large share, so you can do this.

"The soldiers won't move unless there's a pattern of violence."

"If someone were to storm the other way, the pirates would lend a hand to the soldiers, too, right? Pirates are important customers in that city."

I grab Adele's cookies ahead of me at high speed from Claudia's hand, who is already reaching for the last cookie.

"Ahhh!

"Early winner."

There is no mercy for knights.

"Then don't worry about getting the ship on. Let's gather the children who were about to be enslaved and the sailors of the slave ships and leave them to the guards."

"You should do that. Even they will be one of the handles. Plus, if you poke the slave ship sailors, you'll get a reward."

"You should have some money. If you have too much, you'll be targeted."

"If it's Masaki, it's payback. From what I've seen, that sword feels more powerful than artifact."

Does Claudia know just by looking at it? Certainly this sword has more than that performance.

It's one of those obsolete weapons, and the PCs are going to be sticking around all day aiming at the boss monster who drops it.

It is pitiful to imagine a boss monster with a majestic setting being brutally attacked by a large number of hunters.

I'm one of those guys who stuck around for half a day hunting, too.

"I know you do, but don't spread the word, okay?

"I know. I'm sure a fellow trader or a blacksmith would understand, but spreading information like this is taboo. Worst case scenario, you'll get a hubby from your peers."

"Well, that's a relief."

It would be a hassle if they attacked me for weapons. I can do it in return, but I've never crossed it without causing a commotion.

Out of the room, we head out onto the deck to see what's going on in the city.

Many merchant ships dock to symbolize the abundance of commerce in a relatively large port town.

A short distance from it was a big ship different from the Empire.

(Is that... a Galeon ship?)

A dragon-shaped crest is depicted on the mast.

A few of them. As far as I can tell, there aren't as many as ten.

The Empire is still unusually specialized in naval warfare.

(If the generations of ships are different for a century or a few, then the country will fall)

Looking at the ship and harbor on deck, the boat is headed this way. Looks like there's a soldier on the boat.

Besides, when Rojas notices, he comes up and rides himself out and says something.

"I wonder what that's saying"

"That's where the slave ship in the back came to voice his concern."

With Lohas' guidance, the soldier turned to the slave ship behind him, and a paddle with the wind seemed to have crossed with Lohas to the slave ship.

Separate the slave ships and apparently the slave ships will be taken to the army berth. Paddle and Lohas also move together for explanation and quick movement.

We split up temporarily with the two of us, and we put a ship in an empty berth, and a few of the soldiers arrived here.

"The pirates who helped the slaves out, are you talking about you?

A reddish soldier, unlike the Empire, came to voice.

Plate armor and small pieces are painted with the same dragon crest as the mast.

"Oh. Right. It protects me here... okay?

"Of course. Those who know their identities go to their homeland. Those who have been orphaned are hereby promised protection in the name of the Kingdom."

It seems that what they call protection is recruiting foster parents while doing field work and simple tasks in institutions, as in the original world.

My youngest daughter and son are also often out of the facility.

A soldier later told me that there are unexplored areas in the kingdom where adults work, at least they get enough wages to live in qualities and not starve.

Some young people seem to want to be adventurers and fly a flag, but then they do.

The protection from the country seems to be off. I mean, the country can't take care of that much either.

"Got it. I'm coming down now, so just wait."

"Are there any injured or sick people?

"We're all healthy. If it was a minor injury, it would have healed us."

"Right. Thankful."

I won't tell you how it's healed when I say it's healed. Recovery magic is as secret as it can be.

Pass a small sachet to each of the former slaves disembarking from the ship.

The contents are just baked cookies and recipes.

The method was also expressed in pictures, taking into account those who could not read the letters.

They support me in the kingdom, but I don't know what I can do, so it's a handicraft.

"Thanks! Big Parent!

"We'll sneak out the contents later. Don't let them sell or take it away from you."

"Yeah!!

The child has a cheerful voice and the adult bows his head deeply to say thank you and descend.

I never thought this would be one of my specialties in this city later.

Me and the pirates dropped it off and then when we got off, Lohas and Paddle came back here with soldiers in fine armor. Is that the great lady here?

All the soldiers are posturing and saluting correctly.

I'm a little nervous about how it's going, but let's be grand here.

You shouldn't be licked.

"Are you the head of this pirate gang, Masaki?

"Oh. It's Masaki doing the big parenting. What about you?"

"I am Marc Allan, head of the Knights Corps, who works for the Kingdom of St. Grant. Now thank you for freeing the slaves and capturing the slave ships."

Has the captain arrived? He may be quite great.

"Don't worry about it. I didn't care about the Empire either."

"Still. I heard you were a pirate, but with all due respect, you don't look like a pirate. I feel more heterogeneous things one way or another."

Did they feel that they were not pirates even though they had not spoken much? This guy is pretty sharp.

"That would be so. Lord Masaki saved me from a forbidden cage, but he healed me by offering me my injuries. Count Alan."

Fluffy Adele came down from the ship proudly.

"Ardelheid!? You're safe... good. When the Valentine Empire was reported to have fallen into the hands of the Empire, I thought maybe no more..."

Quite a great lady. Instead, she was a great lady.

And my people knew the great man.
