Chapter 100: You Should Get Married!
Rita had actually been expecting Percy to join her in the bathroom since she knew that he would be tired from visiting the orphans, but Rita didn’t think he would be this exhausted! Rita moved towards Percy’s body on the bed, and she ran a hand over his strong back slowly.
"You okay, baby?"
Percy let out a low hum in response, and Rita’s smile only widened as she heard this. The silver moonlight cast a beautiful glow on Rita’s pale skin that made her shine in the dark room, and Rita gently moved forward so that she was straddling Percy’s back, and she sat down gently on Percy’s upper thigh. Percy smiled slightly as he felt Rita rub her hands against his back, and he let out a long sigh as Rita’s hands suddenly glowed with a green light that she ran across his body slowly!
This was a common medical skill called [Healing Touch]. It was a simple A Rank spell used by most doctors and nurses to heal simple wounds. But for people like Percy and Rita who never really need to worry about such simple wounds, this spell acted as a form of relaxant that allowed them to soothe their muscles after a long battle or an exhausting training exercise!
Rita’s soft body pressed against Percy’s thigh as she ran her hands over his body gently, and she smiled as she felt him relaxing under her touch.
"The kids must’ve really dragged you around today."
Rita spoke up with a small smile, and Percy grunted before he smiled as well. Although his eyes were closed, Percy could still imagine the amusement on Rita’s face.
"It was a madhouse. Thomas almost broke his arm on the swing, and I heard that Jacob had some accidental magic and almost burnt down the place with his fire affinity. Vivian kept asking me to help her build that treehouse, and Susan was mad at me for not coming sooner."
Rita laughed in amusement, and she pressed her hand into Percy’s shoulder blade and massaged out a few knots in there. Percy’s pleased grunt was her only response, and Rita felt satisfied that she was doing it properly.
"You know they’ve been asking for the tree house for so long now. Maybe we should build it for them. I think it’ll be fun."
Rita said this with a small laugh. The children at the orphanage were all younger than ten, so none of them had the strength or intelligence to build an entire tree house on their own. So whenever Percy or Rita came around, the kids would always want them to help build it! Rita was beginning to think that maybe they should just do it!
But Percy answered with a small sigh.
"The Matron won’t let us. You know how she feels about the kids climbing trees. If they aren’t careful, they can really hurt themselves."
Rita hummed in agreement, and then she laughed slightly.
"Is the Matron still telling you to propose to me?"
Percy scoffed, and then he chuckled as well. The Matron of the orphanage was a really old woman who had many grandchildren, and for some reason, ever since the Matron found out that Percy and Rita were a couple, she started hounding Percy to propose to Rita! It was almost like the Matron had made it her personal life mission to get the two of them officially married, and even though Rita explained that the common marriage that the people of this world had was pointless for them, the Matron still wouldn’t take no for an answer!
There wasn’t a single time Percy met her that the Matron didn’t hound him about proposing, and whenever Rita went over, the Matron would give her tips on how to make Percy propose to her! Rita never bothered to listen to those tips because the Matron didn’t understand Rita and Percy’s relationship at all, but it was still funny to the two lovers!
"Yeah, she still hounds me. Today she introduced me to the best ringmaker in the city, and she made him promise to give us a huge discount for our rings. At this rate, she might end up organising the entire wedding without us knowing."
Rita just laughed when Percy said this, and she let out a long sigh as she leaned forward like a cat and relaxed her body on Percy’s back! Rita’s soft breasts pressed into Percy’s muscular back, and she took in a long breath to inhale his scent before she placed a loving kiss on his back.
"You don’t ever need to worry about us getting married, baby. I know you’re mine, and that’s enough for me."
Percy smiled in response, and he slowly turned around so that Rita was sitting in his lap! Percy reached up to take Rita’s cheek in his palm, and Rita immediately pressed her face against his arm like a cat and smiled down at him. Percy looked Rita over with a critical gaze. Even though her body was covered by the towel, her pale white thighs and milky cleavage were still exposed, and in that moment Percy knew that this was the single most beautiful woman in the world. And she belonged to him.
"Come here."
Percy pulled Rita down gently, and Rita didn’t resist at all as she leaned down for a soft kiss! Rita hummed into Percy’s mouth, and Percy ran his hand through her hair softly and deepened the kiss even more before he finally separated a few seconds later.
Rita placed her chin on Percy’s chest as a silly smile spread across her face, and Rita simply stared at Percy’s face as she studied him for a while. Percy raised a brow after a few seconds and asked her what the hell she was looking at. Rita’s cheeks reddened, and she smiled shyly before she said.
"You’re so handsome."
Percy felt some embarrassment rising from inside him when he heard Rita say this with such a loving voice, and he simply chuckled before wrapping his hand around Rita and holding her close! The two lovers already knew that they didn’t need anything like a wedding to cement what they had! They had chosen each other for life! And even if they were to both die today, they were sure that their souls would always find each other again!
Rita let out a happy sigh as she enjoyed being so close to Percy, and they stayed like that for more than five minutes before Rita finally spoke up in a calm tone.
"Hey, baby. What do you plan to do about the little refugee living with us? You didn’t really explain why you agreed to take her in."
Rita was really curious about what Percy was planning to do with Hildegard, and she rested her head on Percy’s chest and watched Percy closely as he hummed before answering.
"I don’t know what to do with her, really. I just didn’t think it was safe for her to stay in the dorms with how things were going. We’ll have to keep her safe until the investigation is complete."
Rita sat up slightly while putting her hands on Percy’s chest and pressing her crotch tighter against his own.
"So what do you think? Is she innocent?"
Percy nodded.
"Yeah, she most likely is. It’s either that or she’s the best liar in a hundred worlds. I could see it in her eyes when I spoke to her that she didn’t kill those kids. Or at least, she didn’t kill them on purpose."
