Recently, more adventurers have stepped into the Bosque Great Forest Zone.

Griffon blades are used as a material for the combat version of Air Boots, a magic shoe I've made and talked about. The Bosque Great Forest Zone is home to its griffons and has a relatively high number of sightings.

Currently, air boots are a popular product and are among the top five tools exploratory adventurers should have. Even acceleration-only versions, which are pricey versions, are counted as one of the gear novice adventurers want.

Even in the Alliance, Griffon's request for a blade crusade is being staged day after day. Griffon's Monster Rank is C. Naturally, the adventurer's request is also a C-rank request.

I can take the B-rank, but the other day, the Earlies became D-rank adventurers, so I can take one C-rank request.

"That's why I'm going to take a request to hunt Griffon"

I told the Jade Knights + Yuna. The ground floor of the Adventurer's Guild, slightly away from the bulletin board, looked around together. Adventurers pass by to see the requested bulletin board.

Previously, Early and the Kingsguard have been through griffon hunting for air boot material, but this was their first time in Sakilis and Marcus.

"Well, we already all have air boots..."

"Master. I don't have one yet."

My voice tones down to Yuna, who raises her hand.

"- Some people don't have it, so yeah, let's get this one ready at last"

The Bosque Great Forest Zone is called the Forest of Warcraft and is home to many different, but powerful, warcraft than the Great Cavity Dungeon. There are also large Warcraft, including Griffon, so we need to be more careful than ever.

"Now, other warcraft are troublesome, but the aim is Griffon's crusade. In other words, we need to assume a battle with our flying opponents. Flying tools and projectile attack magic… auxiliary magic also helps depending on how you use it"

"That's a weight-up."

If Early says so, Sakilis turned his face.

"Is it the magic of weighting up?

"Yeah. You add it to your opponent's wings and you're out of balance. Jin crashed Wyburn with it."

"Give me Wyburn!? Such moves..."

"Yes, quietly!

Knock on the bread and hands and bring your attention back here.

"That's why we have multiple means against warcraft in the air, such as griffons, and we will train them if necessary with that procedure"

"... you're a total instructor now"

Marcus, who recently started taking my lectures in higher magic classes, laughed bitterly. I'm laughing at this too.

"Now that you've nominated me, shall we go with a magic subject class? - against warcraft taking altitude, the distance inevitably grows more than against them on the ground. But when it comes to magic, this distance is unfavorable."

Because.

"Magic basically means that the farther you fly, the less magic you have, the less power you tend to have."

That is, magic attenuation.

If I were to give you an example with a projective magic fireball, it would continue to burn until it hit its target, and it would be gradually weakened by air resistance and the constant burning of the magic that makes up the fireball.

With Ice Blast, once you form a mass of ice, the magic never escapes, but it is susceptible to air resistance, and due to its weight, it still decreases in power enough to fly far away.

Often projection magic is performed within the viewing range of the operator. The advantage is that they can attack from further afield than the warriors who come in, but in range they are disadvantaged against the crossbow and against each other and against the bow.

It is there that wizards are more vulnerable to archers than in ancient times.... because there is most defensive magic, some surgeons do not lose unilaterally.

So what do we do to our enemies in the distance?

According to the general magic of this world, attack magic, it is assumed to increase the magic power to put in. In other words, if flying far away reduces your power, if you release it with a powerful blow from the beginning, you can hit it with that much power by the time you hit the target.

If you blame it, it's not very efficient for a split with a lot of magic drain. I can't shoot a number of them because the surgeons lose their magic early. Because the famous wizards of this world know it, no such thing as ultra-long range attack magic developed.

I consume a lot of magic, and it turns out there's no such thing as light sweeping magic.

"So what should we do to the warcraft that raids us from the sky? There's a lot to do. If you don't stick to magic, there are ways to counter it with bows and crossbows. Griffon, for example, would have a hand in targeting the timing of the descent to the ground. … but it's also a dangerous way because enemies come in at high speeds"

Soon, behind the members of the Jade Knights, a few adventurers stood and listened to my lecture. Some young wizards, magic swordsmen, bowmen, etc.

"Magic isn't very good at ranged attacks, but this also depends on how you do it again. So let's lecture a little on the magic of attacking enemies at a distance. If even those who are not good at magic can use attack magic, it's a backhand move that can be expected to gain a little power.... Are you sure?

Marcus and Yuna, several adventurers behind them nodded. At some point in the gathering gallery, Sakilis looks around as Vikri.

"Fine, I'll explain."

After an impromptu magic course at the Adventurers Guild, we the Jade Knights went back to school.

It is a training ground in the school yard, a magical practice.... I just explained it with my mouth and if I could do it all, no one would struggle. The key is to put it into practice and use it.

It should be noted that the use of magic in a training field outside of class requires the permission of the instructor.... Most of all, I'm almost free without any other users than Yuna, the person on the permitting side, here.

Instead, magically produce a mass of soil. Students of the Jade Knights explained to me + Yuna just shot projective magic.... Damn you, Yuna! Blowing up the target in one shot. I'll use your defensive magic only!

Aside from that, as a result of trying to make them do it, it was the confusion that was seen at first, but each saw an improvement in the magical power as they did the number of times.

Previously, Marcus, who could only use a fireball to the extent that "only slime can burn" on Mr. Bell, gained power to the same extent as that of a primary wizard. It should be noted that he finally became able to use the airblast, the projection magic of the wind attribute, which prompted him to learn more about lightning.

"... I see you fly a chunk of magic, huh?

"It would be a fireball, but it would be lightning, but based on the same magic. The only difference is how to shape it as magic."

I explained.

"All the basics of what we call projective magic are the same. All you have to do is deepen your understanding of what the flames, thunder, water, etc. embody."

"That's easier to understand than a textbook."

If Marcus is sarcastic, I'll shrug your shoulders. I saw this school magic textbook, too, but I remember wanting to throw it out in the first few pages.

What is magic, what is God, what is attribute, what is the Spirit - it is written in a long, abstract way. For a human being who wants to learn the magic that just works, nothing but pain. Besides, when asked if it made sense, thanksgiving had no shards, as it explained using one page what was done with three lines.

Sakilis and Early, on the other hand, were each increasing the power of their offensive magic. They are two good performers in magic classes at school. Especially in front of Sakilis, who was teaching bind-based auxiliary magic the other day, the response to the back moves of projective magic was so fast.

"And then you can guess if it's actually working..."

Practical combat and training are separate. Can you actually do what you did with your training? How far can you concentrate and challenge enemies who are attacking you with killing intentions - you don't know that unless you try.
