The Immortal Demon King and the Impaired Hero
7 Exchange of information and future policies
The day after the demon king revealed everything in the basement. Once again, they were poking each other in the Demon King's private room to exchange information with each other.
But it wasn't long after the discussion between the two of them started, they hit the wall.
"Come on, Demon King. It's weird to call me Demon King, so give me your name."
We tried to name each other after a suggestion that could be considered the girl's utmost sincerity......
"... I forgot my name"
"... Yes?"
"It was never called again for hundreds of years..."
I had fallen into a situation where normally it was impossible to forget the real name.
Both the girl and the demon king themselves lost their words to this.
The girl was shocked by the state of the Demon King, who had been cut off from contact with others so much that she forgot her name, and the Demon King seemed simply ashamed that she had forgotten her name.
In retrospect, the Demon King had forgotten much of his original world memory. I can't remember the face or the name of my family.
Except for one. I still remember knowledge, especially in the fields of science and mathematics. This is probably due to the incorporation of a variety and knowledge around it in producing the original sorcery.
I could hardly remember being Japanese, or I could remember seeing a girl, but my other memories are as terrible as it took Kasumi.
This is no different than memory problems, loss. The Demon King could not forbid him to sigh, while he was talking about himself.
"... In the meantime, I'll name you after me"
The girl cut out after being forced to break through the harsh air.
"I'm Yuuka Koguro. Yuuka is fine. The same Japanese as you."
"Yukika Kogure, huh? What a Japanese name."
"What are you complaining about?"
"No, I just thought it sounded nostalgic"
There is an out-of-the-box human part of being invited to grieve just by the sound of his name.
Laughing in self-derision, the Demon King thinks about his name.
I can't help but think of a name to replace it than I can't remember. I'm sorry I forgot about the Demon King. But thinking of a name from scratch was difficult to navigate, and the Demon King was able to learn the hard work of parents thinking of a baby's name.
Thinking about it for a while didn't come to mind, but when I was about to abandon myself, I wondered if I could be the Demon King. Fu, I saw myself in the eye with Seika.
- Isaiyoi, what do you say?
"What's that mind?"
"It reminded me of when your name was twilight or evening. If the sun goes down, it's night. I associate it from there."
"Hmm. Well, isn't that bad?"
Evening incense nods just to say I'm convinced.
"Well, nice to meet you. Isaiyoi."
"I don't know if the Demon King and the Brave One would like to say hello."
"You're going to be held there... I don't even know if I'm a brave man or not. I don't care what happens."
"Or so it is."
"That's right. So let's get down to business."
That said, Yuka switches the story.
"I need to check with you, okay?"
"Oh."
"Isaiyoi invaded the human continent only once, is this true?"
"It's a fact. Only once a few hundred years ago, I left it to anger to crush several cities. I haven't even left this castle since."
He's a demon king who makes grand proclamations of drag cages, but he is.
Isaiyoi after that outburst was suddenly self-defeated and turned into a machine that would only defeat the brave once they visited. Before that, he had no idea of harming humans in the first place.
When he heard Isaiyoi's story, Yuka glanced slightly at him.
"If that's true, it's crazy. I was summoned in the royal castle, and in the history I was taught there, the Demon King has been acting forcefully and attacking the city for the last hundred years. I've actually seen cities and villages that were crushed years ago."
"I don't remember you at all..."
"I know you're not lying. But there are a lot of people who have been harmed by reality. There's also information that the Raiders are taking demons and shouting at themselves as demons or subordinates."
I don't suppose Yuka saw and heard it in person, but it's too early to determine that information as gasse. But the fact is Isaiyoi hasn't even stepped out of this castle. And then...
"There are two possibilities"
Isaiyoi stands one finger.
"One. Arbitrary devotion by demons who don't obey me. I know something about this."
"On your mind?"
"Oh."
Isaiyoi nodded one thing and exhaled bitterly.
"I don't know what to say to myself, but I was still trying to make friends with humans."
It also crushed before the Holy Sword.
"But no matter how many demon kings, they are ex-humans. Not all of the Demons agreed with me. Especially those with a strong propensity to look down on humans, who objected and proclaimed that they would not recognize me as the Demon King."
At the time, such insurgents were forced to shut them up, but at some point their rebellion was healed with a pat on the border. As for Isaiyoi, I was glad he grew up, I thought at the time.
Now I wonder if that was defeated by the brave or if they were waiting for Isaiyoi to become the deceased by the brave. Now there is not one demonic being that Isaiyoi grasps.
"Did the survival of that dissident set up a demon king to replace me in the cage, or are you inciting the brave to crush me? Either way, I don't know."
It is a waiver of responsibility until it is clear. I was still reflecting on whether Isaiyoi, who said it, was a little too irresponsible.
"Yes, and what about one?"
"This one's a complete speculation..."
Isaiyoi put up another finger.
"Do-it-yourself by humans"
The moment I said that, the temperature of Evening Incense's gaze dropped sharply.
"Don't be so angry. It's only a possibility, it's a baseless story."
When Isaiyoi could forgive him so, Yuka quietly ruled his anger. I've been disputing whether it's gotten any cooler or not.
"But there's no reason."
"Not quite."
People have their own reasons. That is the cult faith, or personal greed or resentment. Human evil feelings are limitless.
Besides...
"Don't you think that's strange? Even though I've known for hundreds of years that I have no chance of winning, humans still summon brave men to turn to me. I don't know what that means."
Isaiyoi, who had abandoned his thoughts from the middle of nowhere and had not even noticed the obvious, but now I can assure you it is an anomaly.
Did they poke me in the pain, or when I roared at Yukamoru, I got an idea face.
"Yes, but..."
As for Evening Incense, I wanted to deny the possibility that humans were fighting each other. But I couldn't find a convincing basis for it, and at the end of the day, I screamed, even though I had a head.
"Uh already. I'm telling you, it doesn't even start! It's quicker to get back there and actually make sure!"
That would be too short-circuited for anything. Isaiyoi accidentally suppressed his temples.
But Yuka doesn't mind that, and she's still going to jump out of the castle.
"Well, wait."
Isaiyoi grabbed Yuka's arm and threw it straight into the bed as she headed slightly towards the door.
"Oh, my goodness!"
Evening incense that immediately wakes up and calls out. But Isaiyoi ignores it and goes on.
"What do you do when you get in without any ideas? More or less, we don't know what happens when a brave man who hasn't been back before returns."
"So what do we do?"
"I have an idea. Yes..."
Isaiyoi's idea is that he himself will soon have to travel with Evening Incense to the human continent.
That's fine in itself. There's no way he's treading back on the throne, either, more than he's gotten her so far involved.
But Isaiyoi couldn't stop getting out of this castle. I could not decide to separate myself from this place, which is the only proof that I have spent precisely with everyone.
Evening incense never asked me if I had perceived Isaiyoi's straying.
"I'll think about it."
That said, "I can manage if I cut my hair......" and so on, I bump and squeal. It wouldn't make sense with that brunette trying to cut her hair. Around not noticing it there, I guess it's still a shame that Sunset is just a little bit.
Elsewhere in the evening incense immersed in his world on the bed, Isaiyoi leaves his back on the wall and looks up at the ceiling.
The ceiling is so shattered that I'm worried it won't collapse in my eyes. Then it is a castle that has been with us to this day, and therefore there is more than that attachment.
There is no basis. But if I left this castle and went with Evening Incense, there was a kind of hunch that I would never come back here again.
It means going back to the present, separate from the past (everyone).
Can we follow the scattered past and return now? It was even questionable.
I can laugh at myself all the time.
In contrast to the mood that gets melancholy as much as I think about it, the sky peeking through the window was clear everywhere.
