Thunder surged and dark clouds churned. A blood-red Elixir shot high into the sky, unleashing a boundless crimson glow as streaks of Thunder crashed down upon it, as if to temper it.

A moment later, the Thunder dissipated. The Blood Essence Spirit Pill... was complete!

Just as Qin Ya was about to collect it, a hand as fair as jade suddenly reached out from the void, snatching the Blood Essence Pill a split second before he could.

Following the jade-like hand with his eyes, he saw a graceful figure in red seated high upon a throne. It was none other than Qin Ya’s direct superior... Meiying Venerable.

She stared at the trembling Blood Essence Pill in her hand, her gaze hardening.

"You... you can refine Spirit Pills!!"

Meiying Venerable tossed the Blood Essence Pill back to Qin Ya, her voice laced with astonishment. Clearly, she too was stunned by Qin Ya’s dual mastery of both Alchemy and combat.

Qin Ya caught the Elixir and nodded. "Yes."

He glanced at the surrounding mist and immediately understood that Meiying Venerable had sealed off the area to prevent anyone from spying on him as he refined the Spirit Pill.

Meiying Venerable fell silent for a moment before asking, "Qin Ya, let me ask you. Have you seen a woman somewhere who looks exactly like me?"

Abruptly, she said to Qin Ya with a cool tone, "Qin Ya, since you can refine Spirit Pills, I have a business proposition for you. From now on, I will provide the medicinal ingredients for your Alchemy. In return, we split the successfully refined Elixirs fifty-fifty!!"

"Very well. I accept your terms, Venerable Lord."

"Excellent. As it happens, I have a Pill Formula right here. Take a look."

As she spoke, a streak of golden light shot from her hand, materializing into a sheet of golden paper.

They knew neither its name nor its Refining Technique, let alone how to actually refine it for her.

Qin Ya nodded. "This is considered one of the more difficult Spirit Pills to create. "Can you refine it right now?" Meiying Venerable asked.

Meiying Venerable said coolly, "The ingredients will be here shortly."

"Good."

Not long after, Jii Xingyue arrived outside Qin Ya’s Inspectorate with the ingredients.

"Venerable Lord, the ingredients you requested."

"Good." She took the ring and tossed it directly to Qin Ya.

"Begin the Refining. When you need the Celestial Evil Qi, let me know."
