The Journey of the Overlord

The Overlord's Journey Chapter 48

The silver-haired loli looked at Az-Dakha and replied faintly.

"Is Athena, the goddess of wisdom, daughter of Zeus, king of Olympus?"

Az-Dakha stared at Athena still coldly.

Hearing Az-Dakha's words, Athena's face showed an unpleasant expression, as if she was about to get angry, but she suppressed it and didn't let it out, turning it into a frown staring at Az-Dakha.

"Thou art very different from the Athena I have known." Az-Dakha naturally saw the displeasure on Athena's face, but didn't care, instead looking behind Athena.

Just like the God King Meikal and his own old enemy Bahram whom he had seen not long ago, this Athena had a chain tied to her back, extending backwards into the void and then disappearing, meaning that this Athena was also bound by that [Myth] and separated from it just like Bahram.

'Have the gods in the Box Court been imprisoned by this [Myth] for the past few hundred years and detached from the Box Court to the outside world?'

Az-Dakha became even more interested in this myth.

In the battle that was crusaded by Sixteen Nights and the others, Az-Dakha did not see a single heavenly army, nor a single god, which made Az-Dakha strange, the first few times he was sealed, there were heavenly armies that came to crusade against him, and even to suppress his [Simulated Star Creation Figure] [Asvita], the general of the heavenly army, the strongest military emperor would even lead the heavenly army to descend into the sky as a human to fight him with human characteristics.

But the battle that was crusaded against, there was not a single heavenly army to be seen, and now it makes sense that in the 200 years that he was sealed, those gods in the upper echelons were bound and pulled to the outside world by this [Myth], and their abilities were drastically weakened, and some even became existences that even humans could kill.

Interesting, really interesting, this [Myth] succeeded in arousing the interest of Az-Dakha.

Looking at the silver-haired loli in front of her who called herself Athena, Az-Dakha asked.

"So, Athena, what do you want from me? Is it to come to crusade against me?"

Athena frowned, looked carefully at Az-Dakha from top to bottom, and said faintly.

"The concubine has no desire to crush you, the concubine merely felt the scent of a dragon and serpent, so she came over to take a look, you have the scent of a dragon and serpent, which is dear to the concubine, but unfortunately, you are not a member of the concubine's dependents."

"Your dependents! Huh? No kidding!"

Az-Dakha stepped forward and crushed the earth directly, causing the ruins where Athena stood to collapse a second time, and Athena was forced to levitate directly into the air, frowning at Az-Dakha.

"How can I be a member of your family! Have you forgotten my breath all these years! Have you forgotten my appearance, to say such words as first meeting!"

"Your breath? Your appearance?" Athena frowned at the Az-Dakha in front of her.

"It is indeed the first time I have met you, your scent is also the first time I have perceived your scent, your appearance is not known to the concubine, even your name is not known to the concubine, so how can you say that you have forgotten?"

"It seems that with the passage of time, and the bondage of that [Myth], you Shura Gods and Buddhas have forgotten certain important things as well, how sad!"

Az-Dakha looked at Athena with compassion, then raised his right arm.

"Although this is not the first time my name has been asked for after being crushed, the extravagance of giving your name again should be forgiven to you pathetic people."

Az-Dakha turned slightly to show Athena the "Aksara", the banner with the original word for "evil" behind it, whistling in the wind.

It was the oldest concept of the universe that was formed from the smallest units scattered throughout the world, when the image of the world was not yet clear, dividing the heavens and the earth, giving birth to yin and yang, and defining good and evil.

Bearing his half body behind his back, Az-Dakha spoke his name once more in this world with immense strength.

"The third level of the Box Court - a pillar of the 'Zoroastrian' god group - the Demon King Aziz Dahaka. Handed the banner and the third layer by the Patriarch, with the promise to spend this life as the Devil King, the Uncommon Incarnation!!!"

As if shrieking, the powerful impact erupted directly from Az-Dakha's body, overturning all the buildings, trees, and even rocks on the surface of the ground that had been reduced to rubble by his own walk, leveling everything outside of Rome.

"Thus, do you still remember me!"

Six scarlet eyes stared coldly at Athena, who had opened her golden realm in mid-air in order to ward off his impact, and Az-Dakha questioned so.

Athena frowned as she looked around, everything within a radius of several kilometers had been leveled and the ground was still in the process of sinking, and then turned to Az-Dakha, Athena's brow furrowed even more.

"Zoroastrianism" Athena knew that as a widely worshipped goddess within the Mediterranean Sea, the Zoroastrianism of ancient Persia next door Athena was still aware of it, the Greek mythology in which her own mythology was located, Hercules, the Hercules of Olympus had a very close connection with the Zoroastrian god of war, Vereslana, that god of war was also one of the gods that she hated, and now this three-headed dragon in front of her said that he was one of the gods of Zoroastrianism.

Although he didn't know exactly how many characters Zoroastrianism had, it didn't affect his knowledge of him.

Just what the Box Court was, Athena wasn't sure, maybe it was some sort of legacy from Zoroastrian mythology.

Looking down at Az-Dakha on the ground below, Athena responded faintly.

"Concubine knows, O Demon King Az-Dakha."

Although the exact identity of the other party wasn't quite clear, the reply was still doable.

"So, are you preparing to fight me?"

Az-Dakha asked thus.

"Though Thou art now vulnerable to my presence, yet if Thou wilt fight, I will bring Thou a glorious defeat! Swear here in the name of 'absolute evil'!"

Athena faintly shook her head in response.

"Concubine doesn't want to fight you, what concubine is after is [Snake], not long ago, [Snake]'s scent suddenly appeared, and only then did concubine wake up to take a look, and thus perceived your scent."

"Is that so? Do you not wish to fight me?"

Az-Dakha gazed at Athena's grin before him.

"But! As the absolute evil, as the fixed point of 'evil' justice, I have the obligation to show my fangs to all the world without discrimination! Thou hast been my opponent since the moment I spoke to you!"

The shadow of the dragon behind suddenly split into several shadow blades, instantly cutting into Athena in midair.

Suddenly the wind was blowing!

It's the end of the week~~ I'm here for a monthly ticket, if you have the money to give a monthly ticket, if you don't have the money to give a monthly ticket to chant, look at how diligent I am in updating this month~~~~.

Chapter 27, The Third Godslayer's Challenge

The shadow blade that was supposed to cut directly at Athena stopped in the air, then slowly retracted.

Athena and Az-Dakha both turned their heads to the side.

There, the whirlwind was gathering.

In the instant that Az-Dakha's Shadow Blade had just stabbed out, the wind suddenly hung up, causing the cumulonimbus clouds above Az-Dakha's head that had been brought about by himself to tumble, and it possessed a powerful spell that also contained some sort of God Grid.

This meant that another god had descended!

"Does the god symbolize the wind? Who could it be?" Az-Dakha looked at the gathering whirlwind and grinned.

Athena's face, however, had a hateful expression on it.

"Hehehe~ That would be a real disappointment to you, I am not the god who symbolizes the wind as you say." The voice from the gathering whirlwind.

Az-Dakha's grin widened even more.

"I see, is it the Godslayer?"

"Heh heh heh~ That's right, it's my husband."
