Chapter 1893 - 1898: Subdued and Obedient
Even though the opponent was very powerful, Little Black wasn’t afraid in the slightest. At times like this, being scared is useless anyway. Better to keep walking forward bravely—every fear you have will be crushed to pieces as you advance.
After the spiky porcupine tied Little Black up, it suddenly jerked its tail, then directly flung Little Black downward.
Little Black was like a snake tied to a rope. First being yanked, then swung, his whole body slammed into the ground below, knocking down ancient trees, damming a small river, leaving the whole mountain in total ruins.
Right then, Little Black suddenly charged at that porcupine. The control was in the opponent’s hands; since that’s the case, he might as well yank it over!
Little Black rushed toward the porcupine, but the porcupine understood this logic too. It frantically tried to flee. Seeing Little Black actually catching up, the porcupine finally used its ultimate move.
Pff~~
A yellow mist sprayed toward Little Black, surging out in a grand torrent, like someone aiming a giant hair dryer at him and blasting out water vapor. That feeling was just pure torment.
Little Black was stunned by this move on the spot. He hadn’t expected the guy to fart? And treat that as an attack skill? That was way too bizarre!
"You bastard!"
Little Black flew into a rage and charged at the spiky porcupine. The spiky porcupine also knew by now that there was no escape, but it wasn’t scared. All those long quills on its body were aimed at Little Black. Its only worry was that Little Black wouldn’t rush in; as long as he slammed into it, he’d be completely dumbfounded, and nine times out of ten it’d hurt like hell.
Facing this defense that doubled as an attack, Little Black snorted coldly and didn’t rush in. He wasn’t an idiot, so how could he just blindly charge?
He merely sneered at the spiky porcupine. Since the opponent was treating him like this, Little Black suddenly realized that, facing this kind of defensive ability, he could play it another way.
Little Black grinned, then used his Dragon Claw to grab the rope-like thing coiled around his body and dove downward.
The porcupine’s body was instantly dragged along, then followed Little Black as he crashed downward. After that, it slammed into the ground. When the porcupine’s whole body hit the earth, thanks to its long quills, it actually bounced?
"Not bad, good elasticity, but I wonder how many times you can take it." Little Black chuckled. Everything has its limits, and he didn’t believe those quills were truly that tough. So without another word, he dragged the porcupine toward the mountain opposite, then smashed the porcupine in his hands straight into the mountainside.
The whole mountain shook, and that side of the cliff was hit so hard by the porcupine that cracks spread out in all directions. As Little Black tugged, rocks the size of houses tumbled down from the impact point, leaving behind a very impressive round pit on the mountain wall—might even be an unsolved mystery a hundred years from now.
But after that crash, the porcupine’s powerful long quills finally snapped a few. Only a few, though. Still, Little Black wasn’t in any rush—he just started playing.
Lin Fei was getting anxious waiting on the ridge. He then flew up with Hou Qitian, sensing Little Black’s aura in the distance. The two flew toward Little Black’s location and finally reached him, only to find Little Black still having the time of his life.
"Little Black, what are you doing?" Lin Fei saw that Little Black’s claws were gripping a spiky pig and immediately asked.
"Lin Fei, I’ll leave this spiky porcupine to you. It’s a True Body Realm Sixth Transition expert. If you eat its Nascent Soul, you’ll definitely benefit.
Hearing this, Lin Fei stared in surprise at the porcupine. Then Little Black unfastened the porcupine’s tail that he was gripping and flung the porcupine toward Hou Qitian.
Hou Qitian reached out with a slap. Terror flashed across the porcupine’s face before its body was directly torn apart, exploding into several chunks. A Nascent Soul shot out—still in the form of a little pig, but smaller and actually kind of cute.
However, what Lin Fei needed wasn’t cuteness, but killing.
Lin Fei swallowed that Nascent Soul in one gulp, feeling an incomparably vast power surge within his body. He immediately sat down to meditate, not daring to move recklessly.
By this time, Little Black had already rushed off to chase the other White Wolf. He hadn’t expected that White Wolf to try and run again. Little Black was speechless—since that’s how it wanted to play, he wouldn’t be polite. After catching up, he unleashed a wild flurry of Dragon Tail blows, and in an instant that White Wolf was beaten into obedience.
Once that White Wolf was beaten down to half a life, Little Black’s Dragon Tail wrapped around its neck and lifted it into the air, hanging it like some ghastly specter, then tossed it onto a small hill not far from Lin Fei. After all, he couldn’t disturb Lin Fei’s Cultivation.
At the same time, Little Black flew off into the distance—there was still another wolf. He didn’t know if that one had slipped away yet, but it’d better not. Otherwise, Little Black definitely wouldn’t spare him.
Little Black flew deep into the distant mountains and finally located that White Wolf that had tried to escape, now covered in wounds. By Little Black’s logic, he should just kill it outright—but that wouldn’t do. The guy had been beaten so badly it could barely stand.
In the end, Little Black brought the two wolves back together again and said, "Was it really necessary? Tell me, was it? I honestly wanted to kill you both and be done with it."
Little Black ignored the two wolves after that, but the moment he turned around, something very speechless happened—the two wolves actually performed Integration? However, after Integrating, their Cultivation dropped sharply, to only Second Transition of True Body Realm within Nine Transitions. But the very next second, under Little Black’s gaze, they reverted back to normal. What surprised Little Black was that their injuries were healed—though their aura was weaker.
"So this is your innate ability, huh? But if you keep wasting my time, I’ll tear your legs off and take your lives too!" Little Black threatened.
After hearing this, the two wolves immediately behaved. Being schooled by Little Black just now had scared them out of their wits. They couldn’t even get the words ’mercy’ out before they were literally beaten back down.
So they were now extremely afraid of Little Black, and both became very well-behaved.
Lin Fei spent three days Cultivating. During those three days, Little Black tamed the two wolves so well they were utterly obedient, embarrassingly docile.
Now Little Black ordered the two wolves to go search for prey, then bring it back so he could roast it with flames and eat to his heart’s content—though the meat did have a bit of a burnt taste.
Got charred, you know.
With things settled, Lin Fei woke up three days later. The instant he opened his eyes, a powerful aura erupted from his body, but in just that one moment he immediately reined it back in.
