Chapter 1834 - 1839: Slaying the Prince

The Fourth Prince heard Jiang Ming’s words and smiled, but cold sweat was dripping from his forehead. Jiang Ming’s strength surpassed his; although their auras were similar, his attacks were not something the Fourth Prince could match, so the Fourth Prince was very wary.

"You want my life, I’ll give it to you, but before that, could you tell me your identity? What kind of person are you? Why do you want to kill me? What grudge do we have? Can you let me die with some understanding?"

What Prince Orion wanted now was to buy time, otherwise, the odds weren’t in his favor. He had thought it through; if he could delay, that would be best, if not, he would fight to the death and then escape. If he wanted to flee, it shouldn’t be so easy for the opponent to stop him.

"Since you want to know, I’ll let you die with clarity. I’ll tell you why I want to kill you. Do you remember the boy who tried to assassinate you back then?"

Jiang Ming spoke, then looked at Prince Orion. Jiang Ming truly hated this person to the bone, but now he could finally settle things with the Fourth Prince.

He didn’t know why but there was a faint feeling of unbearable sadness in his heart, which made him recall the past, the days when his junior sister treated him well and made vows to him.

"It was you? But no, your appearance shouldn’t be like this, right?" Prince Orion thought of Jiang Ming’s issue. Jiang Ming clearly didn’t look like this, he remembered distinctly that the boy back then didn’t look like Jiang Ming at all.

"Hahaha, I used the Illusion Fruit, which is why I look like this now. Now you also know why I want to kill you, and since you know the reason, you can die!" Jiang Ming finished, then attacked Orion.

Prince Orion exclaimed, "Stop! Don’t do it, quickly stop!"

"Is there anything else you want to say? Say it all now so you won’t die with regrets." Jiang Ming paused, looking at the Fourth Prince Orion.

The Fourth Prince said, "You shouldn’t blame me for this, right?"

"If not you, then who? If you hadn’t said those words, my brother wouldn’t have told the master that you fancied the junior sister. The master wouldn’t have sent the junior sister to you, and you wouldn’t have killed her in cold blood! I’m here today to avenge her! You will not escape death today!"

"Don’t you want to know what your junior sister said when she died?" Orion asked.

Upon hearing Orion’s words, Jiang Ming paused, looked at Orion, and said, "What did I say? You better be honest, or I won’t be kind to you!"

The Fourth Prince Orion sighed, "I really didn’t know things would turn out this way. If I had known today would be like this, I wouldn’t have done it."

"Cut the crap! Immediately tell me, what did my junior sister say when she died?" Jiang Ming asked.

Jiang Ming was very concerned about what his junior sister said when she died; he wanted to know.

And the Fourth Prince Orion seemed to have caught onto this weakness of Jiang Ming, and smiled as he spoke, "Do you really want to know?"

"You’re talking too much!" Jiang Ming finished, drawing his hand to strike the Fourth Prince, intending to make him talk honestly.

"Don’t, don’t, I’ll talk, isn’t that enough?" The Fourth Prince quickly extended his hands, waving them, and said.

"Then speak quickly, don’t dawdle and waste time!" Jiang Ming said.

Hearing Jiang Ming’s words, the Fourth Prince opened his mouth, "If you were me, you would do the same. After all, if I said it, you would definitely kill me, so what’s wrong with me wasting a little time?"

What Orion said was correct; the faster he spoke now, the sooner he would die, so his dawdling was understandable.

"Then you better speak quickly; if you do, I’ll let you suffer less when you die. If you keep dawdling, I’ll slowly stick a knife into you and torture you to death!" Jiang Ming said.

Hearing Jiang Ming’s words, Orion shivered, then said, "Alright, alright, I’ll talk, okay? Don’t be impulsive." After that, he slowly recounted what happened back then.

"Your junior sister, actually when she was dying, she was still calling your name, saying to save her! But you didn’t come, you disappointed her, so now you should go accompany her..." Orion’s voice was filled with a demonic tone.

This left Jiang Ming frozen, standing as if he had become a statue. The truth was, it wasn’t Orion’s voice that had a demonic quality, but the content of what he said left Jiang Ming in utter despair, hence his stupefied expression; otherwise, how could Jiang Ming drop his guard like this?

"Heh heh..."

Orion revealed a cold smile on his face, then a dagger appeared in his hand, which he thrust toward Jiang Ming’s chest.

Jiang Ming sensed someone attacking him and suddenly snapped out of it, but it was already too late. The dagger was just inches away, and he couldn’t stop it. He could only watch as the dagger swiftly came toward his chest.

Bam!

A flash of black lightning passed by, and Prince Orion’s body flew backward, crashing into an ancient tree in the distance before rebounding to the ground.

Jiang Ming looked to his side and saw that Lin Fei had arrived. He patted Jiang Ming on the shoulder and said, "Spacing out at times like this is dangerous."

"I’m sorry!" Jiang Ming said.

"It doesn’t matter; as long as the outcome is a success, that’s enough." Lin Fei finished, walking toward Prince Orion.

Prince Orion clutched his chest, blood continuously flowing from the corner of his mouth, and asked, "Who are you really? Why are you involved in this matter?"

"Who am I? Can you forget about me? But can you forget him?" Lin Fei said, then reached out his hand toward Orion.

"Hey there, little prince, did you really forget about me? If you forgot Black Dragon, then I definitely can’t let you leave alive today." Black Dragon said, then rushed toward Prince Orion.

At that moment, Prince Orion suddenly shouted, "Father!"

A loud shout made Lin Fei sense that something was wrong, so he immediately nodded to Black Dragon and said, "Finish it quickly!"

Without any hesitation, Black Dragon charged at Prince Orion, coiling his body around Orion’s neck, and applied a sudden and forceful squeeze.
